Good evening famz, have been part of this thread for some time now. I applied to two schools earlier this year but was denied admission. that's by the way.
please my question is that, is it possible I enrol for a masters degree in a course related to finance, accounting or business??
my first degree is in history and international studies. I am currently doing ICAN and I work in a financial institution, have some months work experience.

Frankly speaking, Getting an engineering job from Nigeria is tough but doable. Alot would have to be considered.

First, you need to have good working experience with verifiable projects. For a German company to employ you from naija means they have not gotten any application from people within and around EU, hence the reason why they are considering your application. What makes it more challenging is the fact that the company have to go through the Job center (Bundesagentur für Arbeit) to register your coming, prepare the documents and give you a contract WITHOUT knowing what your deliverables are. I hope you get this.

Now, lets assume you have a contract, the dangerous part of the work visa applicant is that if the auslander/embassy rejects your visa application, you could also receive a ban for some number of months...(Yet to verify this though) so look through and weight your option. I'm not saying people dont get jobs from Nigeria. At least, I know 3 guys that came for IT jobs.

Moreso, you need to have a certain level of german language to help you with settling down.

Lastly, you can't use a conference/visit visa to work because its a short term thingy.

For you to work, you need a TaxID, Renten (Social insurance) which will never be given to a short stay visitor..

My advice, if you have the resources, apply for a student, integrate into the soceity and when you get a job here, you can change your permit to working visa.

It's not carved on stone. It depends on the school and program. Some schools allow deferment while some do not.

Also, some admission decision takes up to 2 months. Different school and program have different procedure.

1)I want to apply for this summer semester.. when do they give out their acceptance letter... Because I don't know if I can meet up with Visa requirement if the admission letter comes out late

2)Can I deferr my summer admission for winter,if I get admitted.

I sent my transcripts thru nipost as a registered mail on the 20th September 2018,contacted the school about it and was mailed that they are yet to receive it.i equally sent a mail to nipost and was told to contact the addressee to go to the local post office around that my document is ready for pick up,I thought it would be delivered to the address on the envelope as it was meant to be sent by the school directly but cos I wanted to cut cost I decided to sent using nipost.
My question now is that;Is nipost not supposed to deliver it to the addressee?
Does that mean that if the school doesn’t contact the nearest postal office ,wiould it be returned?(I
My tracking number is RR053994604NG.it is to be delivered in Edmonton Canada.

It's since last month August I have been trying to track some of the items I bought online, via Nipost website www.nipost.gov.ng but it only displays "remote server unavailable, please try again later" after other international tracking websites says it has arrived destination country. Any helpful information on what is really going on will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Trust Everyone is doing good...
I received a call from the Embassy by 2:00pm today to come pick up my Visa tomorrow by 10am. Its kinda like a bittersweet moment for me. My enrollment deadline was yesterday and on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th i was in contact with my school international office to try and extend my enrollment but they said that its not possible. Please gurus in the house, what do you advice i do?
Should i go to my school and see if anything could be done?
What will you do in this situation?

Guys, it’s best you read through the entire thread. You’ll find something you could relate to and learn from people who went through same process but are now in Germany. I pray we start seeing testimonies for summer/winter 2019 soon... It’s our turn. Admission letters will drop, interview dates and BA won’t be a problem for us. Amen.

After so much research i have arrived at 3 school
1- Aviation management in worms ( but they have very limited space for NON-EU student and dey require 12weeks internship in an aviation industry )

2- bachelor international management in HTW Berlin but the require you to have a German language certificate

3- international business management in HWR berlin ( this is d only school giving me a little hope)


My question now is dat is it good to apply to just 1 school. And does any 1 knows if HWR BERLIN accept English profiency letter.

Ur highlighted is incorrect, the rules has been changed and no more applicable to NIGERIANs. U can have a dual citizenship as a NIGERIAN/Deutsch. And for uncle looking for sofort citizenship, calm down and don't shoot urself on d foot, one step at a time. The society is a structured one. Hope this helps

The correct spelling of my name is SCHOLASTICA but was incorrectly spelt SCHOLARSTICA on my transcript and Letter of English Proficiency.
