Travel / Re: Best City To Visit In The U.s? by kenflipper(m): 3:25am On Jun 10, 2008
It all depend on what your defination of BEST CITY is, if vacational then Vist the smokey mountains in GATLINGBURG Tennessee its a true Germany town and you can also visit Dolly Parton's dixie stampede (dollywood) which also in gatlingburg and the largest acquatic reserve where u can view live Sharks and other sea creatures, you would be amazed. Was there last April had a swell time. You wont know you are in the USA, you will probably think you are somewhere in Germany. There is also a cable cab that takes you up to the top of the smokey mountain.

Travel / Re: Should America Be Bilangual? by kenflipper(m): 10:28pm On Jun 02, 2008
If we are talking about the American advantage YES America should adopt a foreign language preferably spanish while english remains the standard or unifying language. Tho!, some might not dim it necessary cos' even with out adoption most Americans speak a variety of languages because of their diversity.
Travel / Re: One Million Naira Or 6 Months Visa To The United State by kenflipper(m): 10:19pm On Jun 02, 2008
I strongly believe that the question shouldnt be for those in the USA. It is easier to be in the USA and say 1million is better. If 1million is better obviously there are lots of guys in the USA who have $20,000 (2.2million) dollars and above why arent they thinking of relocating to Nigeria to invest and groom their investment.
All you need to consider before accepting 1million are: (1) human life in Nigeria is too cheap (2) total disregard for the laws of the land by those that are meant to keep the laws(3) lack ofelectricity kills business and virtually all business strives on electricity. Let even put aside the issue of bad roads, assuming one copes with it. If Nigeria had a reasonable electricity supply not a GOOD one, just REASONABLE I would go for 1million. As the situation stands today i wont even think twice if i find myself in that position i will go for 6months visa to the USA (even with the full knowledge that i cant work legally & i would be illegal after 6months), there is just too much to achieve in 6months, if one is goal oriented exposure is a powerful tool. Visiting the USA and knowing one or two people can be very useful in the future especially if one is business minded. And depending on the kind of friends the priviledge can bring, one can foster a bond and always reapply after a stipulated time tho!, visa issuance will hang squarely on the shoulders of the VO. But aleast one would have passed an essential test of visiting the USA and returning home without over-staying.

This is how my decision will go as it stands today:

1million OR 6month visa to USA = 6months visa to USA
1million OR 1 year visa to UK = 1million
1million OR 1 year visa to Europe = 1million

Travel / Re: Any Nigerian In Malaysia?pls Help! by kenflipper(m): 2:34am On May 30, 2008
This is the last place you should be in your search for a solution with regards Nigerians living in Malaysians. Though!, I do not support Nigerians messing up in any country, I can not completely take your words, in between your lines I can see racism against Africans and Nigerians in particular. There is very little any one on this forum can do. If your are truly in search of a solution you should take your issues to the police in your country and make sure that they do their jobs. Form an activist group with like minded individuals, write on your national newspaper to inform the public and create awareness of the havoc of disorderliness amongst foreigners. Every criminal ought be punished and deported irrespective of their race or nationality, failure of your government to do just that means you should be against your police force for allowing illegality to strive in your country. The clumsy excuse that Malaysians are smaller in size than Nigerians isn’t enough for your police force to be handicapped. Rounding up Africans in Malaysia just because of a few bad eggs in an act of racism. Even though!, Malaysia is far from where we reside, it isn’t enough for you to bring in a bogus story, It is bogus because you didn’t not tell the whole story the dotted lines just doesn’t fit in.
**What about the Indian-Malays gangs who move in their motor-cycles with a machetes in search of foreigners to steal from, kill and rape
What about the Malay man who raped a Chinese lady in her car in the parking lot and there after burnt her beyond recognition in the same car along the KL airport road some few yrs back.
**What about the Taiwanese ladies that have been raped and killed continuously by Malaysians during their vacation to Malaysia.
**What about the Algerian who killed a 78yr old New Zealander by drugging his drink in the club all in an attempt to steal his credit card and wallet (the news was on bbc some few yrs back, the New Zealand govt. place a bounty reward for information leading to his capture) He was captured and 3months later released probably because he is from an Islamic state and still committing his crime till date.
**What about the Lebanese men who shoplifts and continuously dehumanize your ladies by treating them as sex slaves.
**What about the Iraqi?? who are die hard criminals in Malaysia.
**What about the Moroccans, who falsify passports, Malaysian immigration stamps and Malaysian Identity cards, Oh! those are Muslims and Allah forgives them.
**What about the Ukrainians, Belarusian’s, and the Russians? oh!, if he has a lighter skin its acceptable. Now you are wanting us to talk to Nigerians and make them see reasons why you are a racist, no they don’t need us to talk to them cos' they already know you are.
Nigerians are not even on number #5 when it comes to crime in Malaysia.
Just so you know the few Nigerians misbehaving in Malaysia are the once with little or no education. That is why they are so loud, but been loud isn’t much a crime as the list of heinous crimes mentioned above. I really don’t know what you are after?, do u have a problem with Nigerians riding expensive cars or with them misbehaving ?? , I don’t remember you saying there are those who are hardworking and importers as well as those intelligent students leading the way in various campuses in Malaysia.
We are well informed on this forum. I don’t care if they are Nigerians, Russians or aliens, they should face the law and be deported. Stop singing tales by moonlight to us and posting pictures without any forensic evidence.
Here in Michigan which is almost hub for Asians I know how many Malaysians and Indians alike I come across on a daily basis and their yarn for recognition even with their hazard English I still show some love, I'm not even talking about those who seek refuge in my church for fear of ICE deportation their financial up keep comes from offerings of the church for which I make my $50 available weekly. So it is sickening to hear you spit about Nigerians without mentioning other nationals who commit worst crimes than Nigerians and yet you are married to a Nigerian. Did you mention how much your ladies want badly to be with African men?? because your men are less than 1 inch in dick size? YEAH RIGHT!, I m not surprise that you are married to a Nigerian you would have been suffering in sexual silence. If you want to tell a story tell it completely without leaving any stone unturned, there are many here who would dig the ocean for forensic evidence to back the credibility or prove the racial bias of your story. A picture only tells a better story when there are forensic evidence in it.
If your cops would do their jobs, by now the bad eggs would have been fished out and deported and you would be feeling the love of living with sensible and educated Nigerians. I hope you know that in an examination failing a question from 10 questions is an "A" in same vein for one or two Nigerians to misbehave from the lot is a good rating for Nigerians living in Malaysia.

I see you are even bias in your Google exercise, Google the history of Malaysia palm kernel and find out what part of West Africa they got their palm Kernel seeds from, also inquire if your government ever paid a dime for it. May be that would strike you blue. Better still if you don’t want to believe the result from Google out of your racial bias ask your parents or older folks those that are 60yrs and above know the history better. I will be on the watch out to see the result of your Google, since you are now madam Google!!!………, I’m not surprise you are of Indian origin a Bumiputra (Malay) wont post such bogus story….You should be fighting for recognition in your country and for equality , Nigerians living in Malaysia are not responsible for the attitude of your Govt. treating your race as third class citizens. So take your grievances to your govt.

Dude at 21yrs old, you have no reason to be desperate. i would advise you to get a college education, that would give you a start point. The previous postal said it all, no body will help you, the world help doesn't necessarily exist in the USA. Independence and Bravery are the most popular words here. Be wise and get a college education so that the wolfs would not consume you, if you know what i mean.
Travel / Re: About Singapore! by kenflipper(m): 3:46pm On May 27, 2008
Pls correct me if i m wrong!, if your cousin got residence permit in Singapore she would require little or no advise cos' she's already been there for a while now. And certainly she would have known the worth of it. Other views on the post described life in Singapore. However what they didnt describe is the second side of singapore when u flip the coin.
It has the lowest crime rate in the world. One of the most organised and green country that i have ever seen. living in singapore is like living in a programmed computer game. There is a fine or jail term for virtually every bad habit e.g chewing a gum, improper behaviour, fighting, failure to use a seat belt even when seated at the back seat etc. Ignorance is the worst defence you can give to a judge in singapore and the penalty for ignorance is a double punishment. Inform your cousin if she hasnt been to singapore and has a work permit, she should reconfirm her docs, last i knew you have to be in singapore to procure ur work permit. Except if they have an embassy in Nigeria that document might not be geniue. And if i m right a jail time of between 2-5yrs could be around the corner on arrival at the airport.

Travel / Re: Can A Foreigner Go In To Nigeria? by kenflipper(m): 8:02am On May 27, 2008
Your Boy Friend is right and wrong. firstly if you apply for the visa unilaterally your chances of getting it is 20%, because malaysian airport immigration have a strain in relationship with the consular affairs of Nigeria consulate in KL, it is somewhat reciprocated. You will get it unilaterally if you are been sponsored by a reputable firm in Malaysia with a clear purpose of your trip.
However, if you go with your boyfriend to the embassy in KL you would get it at a stroke no questions asked. But! your boy friend would be required to confirm you're his girlfriend and that he will be responsible for your upkeep no documents would be required just your international passport and 2 photographs. The receptionist at the embassy is a Malaysian lady, call your country's information request number for the embassy's number and call her for further information remember to speak malayo for a more friendly outcome, she is nice tho!

Travel / Re: Ng-mu - Plans For America by kenflipper(m): 4:02pm On May 17, 2008
Lets even assume you make it into the USA.
Have you thought about how you're gonna legalise yourself.
You cant work without DHS authorization, which mean even if you have a visit visa, its no authorization to work. cos' DHS is now going after firms who employ illegals and they re made to pay very big fine, so alot of them are turn their backs on workers without EAD or Green Card. Where will you live, some cities in the USA re passing laws tht would make it difficult for those who have no document to rent an appartment. Thats why if you dont have anyone in the USA it becomes near impossible for you to survive, and even more vulnerable to ICE deportation. What good will it make if you get here and get deported, it makes life more miserable, cos its difficult to adjust in another country after deportation from the USA.
I would advise you to think about what the money you wanna invest in the journey can do for you in Nigeria. And yes there will always be an opportunity for you to come here and live ur dreams, America is a country of migrants warm and welcoming if you come in the right way u will be overwhelmed with the opportunities in this land. But if you come in thro' the back door its fustration cos you will see dreams but u cant live the dream.
I'm promising you that since you think that you wont get the visa even if you apply, it is people like you that get lucky with the visa. Take your time, arrange your docs and apply. Apply common sense which isnt always common in everyone.

Remember that Cuba is almost a dead end, so unless u re going for education or for a govt conference i wont advise u to go. Your money is ur oxygen once u run out u re dead. The only thing cheap in cuba re the ladies. and many atimes these ladies are rouges they steal ur belonging in the middle of the night and disappear like a ghost.
If u re thinking of coming to the USA from there, think twice cos no way!! the U.S security patrols the American waters. I have a friend who visited cuba for spring break last month, i personally sent him a return ticket back to the states. After he lost everything to a lady ghost he met at the club.
Travel / Re: Lagos To Havana Cuban Air Flight Fare, Any Idea. by kenflipper(m): 5:19am On May 09, 2008
Your flight destination is almost impossible but not impossible.
Your only way to havana is if you fly aeroflot, Your best bet will be Dubai-moscow-Havana no transit visa required for moscow. but dont expect to pay anything less than $2500USD for a return and lagos-dubai should be about ($800) which makes a total of $3300 USD. Thats a whole lot u might wanna think twice before u take the trip. View the website below to see aeroflot destinations.

https://www.aeroflot.ru/eng/main.aspx

Alternatively you will need a transit visa either via paris-havana ,london-havana,toronto-havana or florida-havana. It will be however adviseable for you to travel paris-havana since the transit visa to france is more obtainable than it will be to UK,USA or Canada. Airfrance in conduction with Aero ($3300++)

Even if wonders stop occuring in the world, it will never end in Nigeria.

I watched a documentary on pastor T.B Joshua recently, the people he healed from HIV and all other diseases from South Africa, who equally testified that they were healed, travelled back to south Africa and were sick again with same disease for which he healed them from. It was all drama. he was unable to heal a white south African who had a liver problem, he asked the man to go back to south Africa and return in two weeks but the man died in SA a week later.

Govt should look into the activities of these Pastor cos' they are harming our image oversea.

May GOD HELP US ALL.
