I cant believe everyone is hostile to this guy!!!, calling him a lazy man wont help. We all know how it is in 9ja.
I m not saying any one should stick his head on the line, cos you dont wanna get busted for helping. But a soft talk and some encouragement will help the man. No doubt 9ja is fustrating even for the rich. very unsafe!!!
Have u forgotten how many prayers u made to GOD on ur interview date at the American embassy
All the fasting?
What about during your blood test?, have u forgotten it and ur prayers that the test doesnt deny u ur visa!!!
The suspense, the fear!!!
we all know all roads to heaven ways aint easy, but for those of us who made it this far lets appreciate GOD and please be nice to one another.

Travel / Re: Malaysia by kenflipper(m): 9:35pm On Feb 18, 2008
YES you do need a visa, Yes ur visa doesnt guarrantee you entry, if you have a muslim name you will not be scruitinize but if you dont have a muslim name be sure to hold enough BTA otherwise as long as you hold a Nigerian passport flying in from Nigeria, be sure you will see the director of immigration for a special interview.
Your interview will include?, Are u muslim or Christian?
Is it true that you christians are killin muslims in Nigeria?
Are you Igbo , yoruba or hausa?
Why did u come to malaysia for holiday, ?
Whts ur BTA, Now an immigration be sure to hold more than $3,000USD yes, even if ur stay is for a day?, i was told that, but because i was smarter i played along and was stamped in on arrival.

You will see malaysian immigration acting like he know ur country better than u do!!

However its a lovely place pls if u go, do visa places like Pinang, LANGKAWI, mmmmmmmmm langkawi is out of this world, malaysia girls stay glue to blackmen! so watch it, u might be getting more than u bargained for.
Travel / Re: Moving To Singapore by kenflipper(m): 6:01pm On Feb 18, 2008
Easier said than done is the best way to describe wht i have read here even from the singaporean who posted!
I lived in Singapore few yrs back.
Singaporeans have 85percent literacy level and not 100% as posted. True you couldnt loose ur way in singapore, true singapore is visa free to Nigeria, having an invitation letter is optional but i would recommend it for first time visitors, which can be retrived online from hotels. A BTA of 500USD is considerate. Immigration officers at changi airport are nice and friendly your visa issuance at the airport largely depends on your arrival card the way you fill it determines or entry or exit for 2wks. If you fill it wrongly or tell lies you will either go to Jail from the airport or if you are lucky be deported. Yes a Lie can send you to Jail in singapore so be mindful of what you say, And it isnt easy to live and work in Singapore.
Even tho! sometimes they sound like they need teachers and workers, singapore govt is mindful about allowing foreigners to live and work in singapore permanently. There are agencies that are have the authority to recruit for firms and they recruit in bulk most of these agencies recruits from India, bangladesh and philliphines there reason i dont know, may be cheaper labour.

If you are not clean minded please dont venture singapore!!! busting dirty mind is the pride of singapore and they enjoy doing it. the policing authorities have all the tools they need to do just that. You know wht else is interesting about busting dirty minds, they do it in good time!!! The city is secured with micro cameras that the eyes cant pick, alot of it are hidden in trees, so please no trying. Any where you go and wht ever you do be sure that a third eye is watching you. All these cameras are control from from the basement of the force. Singapore is like a video game. YOU DARE TO PLAY, it a game where you always loose if you are not clean.

But!!! above all, i will call it the safest place to live on earth. ONLY if you are clean!!!
Drop you purse and it comes back to you, dont ask me how, because of the third eye, no body steals!!!
A friend left his wallet in the taxi and that evening the wallet was on the news demanding the owner to come pick it. In singapore no body cheats you, but also you will never cheat any body, AMEN.

If you need more info holla.

I was able to live in singapore by observing my 2wks and exiting the country before my visa expires to neighbouring Asian countries. I recommend singapore if you are a business man cars, auto-parts, electronics are good buys in singapore, you could get up to 2months if ur business associates indicates the purpose of ur 2months. If you exit the country in the morning and come back at noon, you get another 2wks thats the law.

Hey!, Less i forget!!!, if you are caught overstaying your stay in singapore for over

*2wks, you get a fine of 150 Singapore dollars or go to jail
*3months you go to Jail for a month
more than 3months - you go to jail plus 6-strokes of the cane on your naked ass!!!, Yes you are striped naked pants down, tied and caned.
Singapore govt explaination is that the laws are so simple so any one that goes above the law is an animal and as such should be treated as one.

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU THINK TRICE BEFORE YOU MAKE THAT MOVE!!!!

Nigerian are sure affraid to buy a car they have not seen!!!, for them to make a deposit for such you should be able to give them security, like wht happens if the worst happens to them, no car, no money, do u have a family in nigeria, can they speak to ur family?, can ur family stand as a shorty?, etc.

Politics / Re: Naira To Be Re-Denominated by kenflipper(m): 8:15pm On Aug 18, 2007
Bros & Sisters, weather u all like it or not, this is a welcome development.
To answer some of the question on naira re-domination.
1. some say there will be pricing confusion - Certainly not, if you were born before 1985 or if you started spending the the naira before 1985 u would understand that there will be no confusion. When the naira was devalued Nigerians adjusted, Nigerians are smart i tell u.
2.Exchange rate- The exchange rate is not being pegged!!! it is still dsame as while we used the old naira, it a matter of putting on a new shirt for an old one, nothing changes pls nairaland landers its simple. While there will be no added purchasing power immediately, overtime the purchasing power of the naira will improve. Did i hear you ask how?? ok, right now Nigerians are not consious of the future, we buy what we need and dont need and let tomorrow take care of its self. when u know that 625naira is 500USD i m sure u would wanna think twice before u spend. And by the time we all get consious of wht we spend and stop spending on things we can really do wit out, that will certainly bring about drastic price fall.
Those of you who live overseas understand wht i m saying, u dont buy a car cos' u re living in the UK, cos u know u dont need it and its expensive to fuel to u go on local transport, yes some would say they have a better system when it comes to transportation, but ours will only get better. We have gotten to a level in the country where things have gotten to the bottom and there is no worse it can get, rather than for things to gradually pick up.
People will return to the farms, city life wuld no longer be the in thing, for every profession, there will be value. Robbery will certain reduce!!! because if u have a small business u might wanna think twice than take the risk. Corruption wit police will reduce, will the police ask u to bribe them wit 1naira when they are so used to 20 naira?? can u bribe police 20 naira when u know its almost 16usd. Its for the better!!! I m glad nigeria is taking a new turn.
Employment opportunities wont readily change, it will be gradual but you can all help urself. Self employment will go a long way. Hair dressers, barbers, caterers will no longer have to cry over small income. if u take 10naira home a day. that day will need to be celebrated cos at the end of the month u would have 300 naira which will be good.

If you are thinking of where to invest your money before August 1 2008, i would simply advise u to go for landed properties. Property owners will have a swell time.
Also self employment is another way to go, If u have 50,000 today, the ultimate would be to go to the village and get ur own land in preparation for farming cos' farmers would no doubt have a swell time too. We are blessed wit rain in Nigeria and our land are fertile. I have lived oversea and i know wht i m talking about.
Less i forget, there will be drastic drop wit the youths queening at embassies for visa and time will be money. I am sure u wouldnt want the embassies to steal ur 100naira cos u now know the value. Day dreaming will stop and hard work will begin.

Lets clap for soludo and Y'aradua i always knew the a Northern President will be the one to deliver Nigeria, i 'm from the south south!! going by history. I m sure Obasanjo surpressed Soludo's plan.

Politics / Re: Lagos Girls Versus Governor Fashola by kenflipper(m): 6:47pm On Aug 04, 2007
From my own point of view, its certainly wrong for the ladies to hold guys to ransom wit their mum's packages! University student or street girls either way u look at it! but we would first need to define a decency as it regards to fashion!!! because as one writer said prostitutes and gang robbers are brothers and sisters. However Fashola should have started wit the areas boys that makes the cost of transportation unbearable and also a menace to our society, maybe they are his machinery and he still needs them to return to power after the expiration of his first term. And worst off! arresting guys wit dread i think he is taking it a bit too far, may be he should only arrest guys wit dirty dread, yeah cos' some guys just spoil the fun when they wear dread they cant maintain, i mean, i had cool dread back in 2001 when i just came from Japan, but seen the area boys wearing it dirty wit out care turned me off cry, i had to take mine off. May be the cops should stop guys wit dread and smell it, if it stinks put them where they belong. But!, as you and i know Nigerian police takes advantage of every opportunity to corruption on the masses the only opportunity they cant take advantage of his when criminal gangs come calling. I sorry for Nija. We are neither here nor there.
The state governor should have been thinking of repairing our road and generating power for lagosian then if after these, the girls to not show appreciation by gettin themselves busy with a hardworking profession, they should be fined. I fear that these same girls are the onces who have spoilt the image of the country wit female prostitution abraod. If they are not allowed to do their business at home, they will go out to neigbouring countries to perfect their act.
Those of you who are angry wit the governor, i have one question for you all?, Do you know of any man who had his manhood stolen by a prostitute, well I do!!! many of these prostitutes are agents of the devil, i support the governor or CP but disapprove of the way they are going about it, officers on plain clothes should be sent to these girls on the street at Night with recorders to solicit sex wit these girls, if they succum to play the sex game, they should be arrested and the tapes should be used against them in court!! that way innocent girls will be spared.
And if you dislike the GOV. Please come out en mass and VOTE him OUT in 2011 we the YOUTHS hardly exercise our civic responsibilities as regards to GOV, we all GOT EXCUSES like '' DEM GO RIG AM'' ''NA TODAY'' We need to start from some where, i was never in support of FASHOLA as GOV.
Politics / Re: Yar'adua Declares His Assets by kenflipper(m): 3:59pm On Jun 30, 2007
What's this about, WHERE DID THIS YARA MAN GET ALL THAT MONEY, chei and some people dey street dey sufffer, this is why naija we always be the way it is!!! , truly bleeped!
Been a governor doesnt mean he should be a multi-millionaira, how much was his salary, didnt he have relatives that he paid school fees for and looked after??  Even if he was a bank director? does that automatically translate into him becoming a multi--millionaire?, I M TRULY LOST.

Declaration of assets is not enough if these guy cant prove how they made the money in the first place. Full step by step details should be made know on how this money was made in the past.
What YARA MAN has done is not enough if we are serious about fighting corruption.

I DO SINCERELY FEEL YOU!!!! I HAVE BEEN THERE AND I CAN FEEL EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAYING.
I HAD THIS GIRL I MET WHEN I JUST CAME BACK FROM OVERSEAS IN 2001. AND I TREATED HER NEGATIVELY EVEN THO I KNEW SHE ADORED ME.
* WAS YOUR GUY BORN MAY/JUNE IF YES, HE IS STRUGGLING WITH HIS TWIN AND NEEDS SOME TIME. MAY/JUNE ARE GEMINIS THE TWIN STAR, ITS LIKE HAVING A TWIN BRO OR SIS AND IMAGINE HOW DIFFICULT IT WOULD BE MAKING A DECISION ESPECIALLY WITH REGARDS TO LOVE. THE GUY IS PROBABLY EXPLORING OTHER GIRLS. GIVE HIM TIME AND HE WILL COME HOME TO YOU SOON. REMEMBER YOU SAID HE IS CUTE! PROVE TO HIM THAT YOU CAN MAKE A GOOD WIFE SORRY A GOOD MUM TO HIS KIDS,THATS WHAT ANYMAN NEED MOST IN A GIRL.

*HAVE YOU EVER SLEPT WITH HIM??, IF YOU HAVENT, TRY AND IF U DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE FROM OTHER GIRLS HOW U DO IT WILL BE UP TO UR INSTINCT. DONT WORRY UR MAN MIGHT NOT LIKE U TODAY, BUT I BET IF U KEEP LOVING HIM, HE WILL GET USED TO YOU IN NO TIME, AND ONCE HE DOES HE WILL LOVE U AS MUCH AS HE LOVES HIS MUM. I M SAYING THIS COS TODAY I LOVE MY GIRL AS MUCH AS MY MUM AND I WILL BE GETTING MARRIED TO HER SOON smiley I M SURE OUR MAN HASNT TREATED U AS BAD AS I TREATED MY GIRL WHEN SHE WAS SHOWING ME LOVE, IF I COULD TURN AROUND TO LOVE HER, CERTAINLY UR MAN WOULD, STAY STRONG AND DONT LOOSE HOPE!!!

RIDING THE HONDA WAS LIKE RIDING AN AEROPLANE SO COMFORTABLE AND EASY THO IT WAS AUTO DRIVE. BUT IT COULDNT STAND THE TEST OF NIGERIAN ROADS AND BEFORE LONG I WAS ALWAYS FREQUENTING THE MECHS PLACE. THE NISSAN WAS MORE RESISTANT TO OUR BAD ROADS.

I WILL ADVISE YOU GO FOR NISSAN, HONDA CARS CANT WITSTAND OUR BAD ROADS AND BUMPER DRIVING.

But u must understand that being in the manufacturing business in Nigeria today Govt. policies will affect you for good or bad!!! plus if there aint no light u will be working witout profit, Think about it huh, best way out is to get a solar energy and add 10% VAT to your feasibility study, even tho it hasnt been implemented remember it was suspended it could come-up any time.
