The problem was that serious consideration wasnt at thot the first time she applied. If ur going to the American embassy plan for the worst and hope for the best. Was the guy with her when she applied?, if not then they didnt plan for the worst. Its always adviseable for your spouse to be with u during interview if he or she is based in the USA, that gives credibility to your request.

What is the status of the prof in USA?? e.g Citizen, Green card holder or Work eligibility?
If the Prof is a citizen then the embassy is refusing her knowingly. Cos they suspect that if the prof really wants her to join him he should know how to go about it better. If he is a citizen, then ask him to file for a K3 visa it takes 6months to 1year wait period and cost $1000 payable to USA immigration.
If not let him get an immigration lawyer. Ask the lady not to give up, the sacrifice will be worth it in the long run.

You re lucky u werent sent packing, So after living in Yankee for this long na ur blood u wan take survive for $40 a week. I thought you would have been ashamed to mention it. If were doing it for humanity pls save all that blood whenever u visit naija donate it. No other country needs blood as Nigeria. I was asked to donate my organs after death numerous times i refuse, cos' i said to myself even if i must donate at all no country deserves it like Nigeria. My country of birth is my first love forget the rest. Yeye yankee people na my organ them wan take do experiement for take train their doctors,or what if them give am to serial killer or one bad sex offender?
Business / Re: I Need Advice On How To Start Selling Clothes And Shoes Like Boutiques by kenflipper(m): 5:02am On Sep 12, 2008
Its a good idea and i m happy ur gonna test the waters with only 100k a friend started it with a little less than that went to togo and almost ran mad. Border wahala was too much for him worst all he didnt go with request so the clothes he bought was difficult to sell, then!, those who bought, were stubborn to pay him it was a mikky mouse story of come today, come tomorrow, at the end he was paid in a wicked manner of bits and pieces. Start by finding out wht your friends and neighbours would like, do they have kids, if they do buy enticing clothes that would befit the kids but make sure ur friend and neighbours are working class people. Above all female wares sells faster better. Cos a man wouldnt mind to deprive himself in order to answer request of his wife or girl friend so he can steal some sex from her at night fall.

Business / Re: How To Start Football Viewing Center by kenflipper(m): 7:14pm On Sep 11, 2008
A picturistic view on what to do:

1. Do a community survey, whats the population of youths in the vicinity where u hope to step up the view centre?
2. How many view centres are presently existing there?
3. If there are quite a number gear up for competition.
4. Make sure location that can house a good number of customers and leave some space for expansion.
5. Floor it with a carpet which wont be up to 3,000 tho!, depending on the size.
6. Get a sizeable TV that would be enjoyable while viewing.
7. Get a cable or DSTV as its called.
8. Purchase a typoon fan incase u cant purchase a used a/c, if not a/c is better.
9. Get a Gen incase of power outtage.
10. Recruit some one to assist you with management, You can manage it alot cos so customers would come to steal and pick pocket.
11. Make provision for affordable snacks that would be onsale during viewing e.g biscuit, groundnuts, fried meat, soft drinks and water.
12. If there are other competitors establish a bonanza that allows for free viewing after every 3 consecutive pay per view or do a basket shake for free viewing.
13. Make sure u have airfreshner e.g drummer there ain't nothing like a good smell when u work into a viewing centre.
Above all be warm and cordial to ur clients try to deal with them personally by knowing their names.

Note: Its also adviseable to get a dvd for american movies so that when ever there isnt soccer but have electricity from PHCN, you can earn money from those looking for where to while away time.

Culturally the mother is suppose to own the child 60%-40%, but scientifically they both own it, with the man owning 60%-40% for the woman.
Remember the sayin only a woman can tell who the true father of a child is?  most men plant seeds without watch over it. While women nuture till death do them part.
Scientifically with out a man's seed there isnt any magic a woman can perform and a man can decide to transfer is seeds from one vineyard to another depending on his comfortability.

@ chukwukadi copier machine is a good idea as a student especially if its located within the school, u would also need a small gen able to power the copier machine in case of power failure. However dont be carried away in purchasing a copier machine put ur eyes down and make sure you buy a good one, a good copier is all that stand in the way of success, failure and loss of investment. I would advice a new copier but incase ur funds are not able withstand the cost and u decide to get a used one make sure u demand a refundable guarrante of 2weeks to 1month. Most marketers know the faith of what they are selling, hesitation of a marketer to give u long range guarrante is evidence that his product in not reliable.

Business / Re: Barbing Salon Business by kenflipper(m): 4:18pm On Sep 11, 2008
My advice, make it a hair salon serviceable to both men and women.

1. Apart from usual equipments for hair e.g hair clippers, dryers, shaving powder, small generator, mirrors and chairs etc.
I would advice respectable services and humor, show care to ur customers ask them what they want and how they want it. After services tell them how cute or beautiful they are and ask them if there is anything more they want, If u treat ur customers well u will win their hearts. Above all you would need at least 35K after paying ur shop rent to start small.

Business / Re: Forex Trading: How Profitable? by kenflipper(m): 2:01pm On Sep 11, 2008
toks2008 your insight showed you actually into forex. But what you didnt mention is that the platform on which anyone trades largely determine that person's fustration or success. No body is asking how brokers or platform providers make their profit. Before you trade make sure you do alot of home work to ensure that the platform on which you are trading isnt a trap. while demo trading, use two or three platforms and observe price rise and price fall. Sometime when you set ur stop loss and take profit, you dont have to wait for your profit or loss to get to what you have set. Say for instance you set your profit and you see it rising from +$50 to +$150 it remains stagnant for a while drizzles down to +40 and rises again, I for one would close it, if it goes up again to +150 without waiting for it to get to the take profit i initially set. Thats instinct trading. Now the question is how immediate are u able to close when u click the close deal. Some platform delibrately delay it in order that market volatility can affect ur profit. Others over extend the spread between the buy and sell, the spread margin is a major trap that most trader dont consider. I bet you alot of professional still trade on platforms that are not credible. There is a site where people state their experiences i will search for it and post it here you will all be suprise especially those already trading who think they are trading with a sincere trading platform. my platform ok and its tax free so far, i m still observing, if i catch them delaying my trading i will withdraw from the platform no excuse. Some people in Nigeria think oh!, its internet connect that caused it, No way! its the broker from ur trading platform they deliberatly slow ur request to buy or sell.

Business / Re: How Can I Make Money Through Investing 70,000 On The Internet Business by kenflipper(m): 1:19pm On Sep 11, 2008
One problem we make in a start up business is that we take 3 steps where we should take one. Those who are still struggling to find their square root with internet biz are here describing how to be sucessful.
Let me prove to you that with 70,000naire you cant start an internet biz.

1. First of all you need to get the equipment with which to start up ur internet biz. e.g computer and internet connection. If you acquire a used computer at a very cheap price it would probably cost you between 35,000-40,000.
2. Get a phoneline for internet connection with cables 5,000
3. Pay for 8hrs a day internet access between 4,000-5,000. Since ur starting new u might not be able to afford 24hrs internet which might cost you up to 15,000, more or less depending on the provider.
4. Get a small generator to power your pc 10,000 or slightly less. Incase there is power failure remember you have only 8hrs browsing ability a day usually from 10pm to 6am, so u need a gen to ensure u re not disrupted from using your time slot.
5. Most of those who go into internet business dont know that one can not depend on the internet alone in advertizing you must include newspaper advert, tv adverts to draw potential clients with curious minds to visit your website. Even if u were to do an online advert via google and the rest, its still not enough! So lets make the cost 10,000.
At the end of the day after computing the figures you will find out that you are bearing able to start an internet business with 70,000 except you already have a PC. Cos ur start up capital is already 70,000 without any reminder to register a domain name most credible domain sells allows for 6months to 1year payment which is cheaper when compared to a monthly payment.
Travel / Re: MM Airport Wahala by kenflipper(m): 5:12pm On Sep 10, 2008
Nigeria airport authority officials should go to Accra-Ghana and observed how its done there. In Ghana visitors to be airport are randomly observed and monitored without their knowledge from a strategic location in the towers, if your are found overstaying your limit of stay or wondering, information is communicated to the men on ground and they breeze u away to the police department to face the music. Its sad to know that people who have no business been at the airport are there for hours, days and even months runing illegal business and look for an arriving victim to steal from. But innocent onces escourting their families or friends with good intentions whose faces you probably see at the airport once or twice in a yr are deprived entry until a bribery transaction occurs. I wonder if we really wanna grow. Build cars they said the technology is too high, Provide health care and Social security benefits they said our population is too much and not enough money, provide security they said armed robber have basuka and all sophisticated weapons, provide electricity they are giving us vision 2020. The little one will expect them to do without excuse or complain they turn it upside down. At the end one wonders what school did our leaders attend? and how did they become the leaders of our great-to-be nation.
Business / Re: Are Many Nigerians Poor At Age 50? by kenflipper(m): 4:11pm On Sep 10, 2008
Dull mindedness without vision is the probably cause. If one could envision 5-10yrs from now and speculate on it, then work towards the speculated vision the sky would be the limit. Many of those who are 50 today and poor failed to use the past in forecasting the future. So while they were rich and better in the good ol days as the future gradually presented its self they gradually became poorer. For instance we dont have a government that works, so we should always think independence. If you have a job from day one start planing for your layoff and dont hope and think you will get to your retirement age cos bankrupcy, bad management or ethnicity could catch up with your firm. My dad was a victim tho we didnt become poor but experienced significant reduction of our standard of living. My theme is plan for the worst and hope for the best and it has worked for me till date.
Travel / Re: Nigerians Living Illegally In China Are Now Going Through Hell! by kenflipper(m): 7:21am On Sep 10, 2008
you guys re calling a spade a cutlass.

Illegal migration is a crime that allows for jail term for the purpose of detering would-be defaulters, that Nigeria doesnt enforce their immigration laws doesnt mean other countries wouldnt enforce theirs, and mind you that is why naija is what it is told the system has completely failed, there are thousands of Niger and Ghanians in Naija wit out permits the government is loosing alot from it. Commiting a crime calls for hatred be it drug or whatever crime. If we would respect laws of foreign countries am sure the discrimination would stop though not totally. What would u say about someone who carries drug to Singapore or Malaysia even tho before landing the pilot warns repeatedly that drug carries a death penalty and the arrival card indicates it. The carrier wont go to d toilet and flush d drug before going thro' immigration and custom check, rather he think the gods will see him thro' cos he did seven days prayer and fasting, rather the gods sees him to his untimely hanging. Americans dont joke wit illegal migration, if u re illegal and caught they hack you, bump you, toss you and deport you after baning you for multiple yrs. If i had a legal residence in china the fact that they toss a human being to snakes don make me run quick quick, but Nigerians will hear these information and still commit crime and some body will come here and say lets stand for Africans! Its high time we apply common sense and do the right thing the world has changed. Nothing comes easy without hard work no matter where u re in the world. You need to work hard to make an impact or sit and be a spectator cheering the achievers.

America call am slave blood here na poverty blood i carry, i don swear say i no go marry cos the poverty blood must end with me, i m not gonna transfer it to innocent children. My papa manage, my mama manage now me too i dey manage. If no revolution we are decieving ourselves, a country that doesnt rule on its constitution is not existing. A country where in a population of 140million handsome men and beautiful women could produce a man 3/4 dead and 1/4 alive that country should be dissolved and and its population should be driven away from their land.

Business / Re: Tips On Starting A Small Scale Supermarket by kenflipper(m): 2:26pm On Sep 08, 2008
I disagree with getting a good location especially when ur intention is based on a small scale with very limited resources!
Firstly you need to consider the population in the location where u intend to own ur supermarket do an estimated survey and make sure the location is densly populated, secondly reachout to your customers with love and compasion discuss their worries and you will win their hearts in no time, give them some financial wavers and sometimes using your instinct grant credits u can afford!!! you need to do this if the location is competitive e.g 5 other supermarkets in same environment, Average income earners or low income earns environment, will also do you alot of good because rich people dont like patronising neighbourhood its belittling for them and they shop in bulk. so they rather visit mega plaza, shoprite, psalms etc.

pls lets observe a moment of silence for Yaradua.
Yaradua is presently 60% dead but for life support, anyone who remembers the king of Jordan who was on life support for weeks before his family requested that the life support be turned off will understand Yaradua position. Its just a matter of time or days it will depend on the family they have the ultimate call! I only wish he would handover from his life support to Goodluck. This simply goes to show we arent what we think we are as a people for a president to go on such life threatening venture without handing over to his vice and informing the citizenry, he isnt fit to serve a nation as Nigeria base on his judgement. MAY GOD HELP US AS A NATION!

Darkroll Bali is not a mirror to Indonesia as a whole, its a resort island which is alternate to any caribbean tourist island, most of the business there is owned/run by australians, Newzealanders and europeans the balinese are a different breed of people compared to Indonesians you would have observed that they are of red indian breed. Its like visiting Calabar and comparing the hospitality of the people and scenery tranquility to the whole of Nigeria, tho' its a part of Indonesia. You should have visited Jakarta or other bigger cities then you would understand what Smile4Kenn said! the Agberos in the bigger cities are worst than the once in Lagos, the slums in the capital Jakarta and other bigger cities stink like rotten corpses and are worst than what we have in Ajegunle by 110%, going out after 7pm is a big risk factor if you are black. Human life is far cheaper in Indonesia than it is in Nigeria. What will any right thinking human learn in such environment other than misery. And Bali isnt cheap at all its as expensive as Newyork, Tokyo or London while Jakarta is cheap bag where a dollar has good spending value.

BRASH this goes to show how backwards you are with terror watchlist issue. What EFUAYE said was factual the american terror watch list is building momentum and there are more than a million names on it. Innocent Nigerians who dont even have a passport already have their names on the terror watchlist how the Security agents in the USA came about it is mind racking!!! Did you know that Nelson Mandela's name was equally on it! but recently cleared! before then he was equally band from entering the USA. If your name happens to be on the list ur automatically band from entering the USA, "NO QUESTIONS ASKED" tho!, your names can be cleared but its a lengthy process. Which has to be done through the US govt website by filling up the questionaire! Recently a 4yr old kid in the US who wasnt old enough to have a social security was discovered to be on terror watch list.

The Poster needs to Rewind to yesteryears,

Poster @ have u ever travelled to the USA?
Have u ever applied for american visa? where you finger printed? or denied? if so what was the denial reasons and what documents did you use in applying?
Have u ever used a different passport?
Has ur identity ever been stolen?
have anyone ever used 'ur certificate with out 'ur knowledge? as in did you store it carelessly that would make it prone to cloning?
Sometimes discrepancies could be discovered on your application form and could write you off!
Where we see mistakes as prone to humanity, Americans think mistakes are evidence of fraud especially in dealing with Nigerians.
I believe if they were certain ur certificate was a fraud they would have called the cops on you, so its in-between your application form and ur Cert!!! there was a red flag poping up that ur eyes couldnt see but they could see it with their eagle eyes.
If you made copies of ur application form go thro every bit of it, i bet you would see the red flag poping out and swinging. Also confirm the alphabetical spellings of ur names with that on ur Cert. In applying for DV you need be perfect!, cos there are candidates on standby waiting to take ur place, america wants only the best organised and best of minds. Any slight error could cost you gavely.
