Does the north and SW like him?

They laughed and showed him artificial love when he fought his own brother, as soon as he shows intention to run for president with a name like ''Charles'' , the north and south west will gang up against him like they did to a ''Peter''.
He is better than Peter Obi you know and we know and the West are the first to fight Tinubu reason why Obi have votes in some places you and I know that if Yoruba behave like Igbos Obi wouldn't have had votes anywhere in South West...that is the fact weither you like it or not.

I woke up this morning to what seems to be a wrong transfer made to my account, from a supermarket named Light Supermarket.

I waited all day to see if I'd get a call from someone, acknowledging the transaction error, but none came in.

The money still dey my account like this as I dey type so. It's not a very huge sum, but it's not small either. My eyes don dey look am one kind o. Please anyone who knows someone from that supermarket should tell them.

LIGHT SUPERMARKET, that's the only information I have.
boss my own little advice that is the sweetest is this dnt report the money and don't spend it for long just be watching if they no contact you for one year just blow the money off on important things but the owner need it he will contact bank for reversal and mind you, you are not a thief so the person that transferred it ought to double checked the name on the transfer to avoid error that is the rules and if not, only by leg, power or court order they will reverse the money back without your concent if not, you are not at fault just be looking if no one do anything then the money is yours dnt panic since you are not 419....best of luck bro.

Once anyone criticized Tinubu, the average Yoruba man will say he is hater of Nigeria. Why is this so?
Obviously you people are wrong, this is a faceless platform and also not only Yoruba are supporting Tinubu in fact those who rejected Tinubu most before election are the yorubas forget about it, if your candidate lost election don't turn our cyber spaces to war ground we all needs each other.

I started feeling that way 20 something years ago and I am a follower of Christ' teaching not a muslim. Many christians don't celebrate birthdays as per religious rule.
I also don't see new year as a time to celebrate but rather a time to reflect on my past and ask God for grace in the new year.
just like me too, in fact on crossover night of new year I dnt know why I always sad coz is the time foe me to think and remember how I have been spending the years back. Same night I will add one year to my year and remember I am minus one make God forgive our sins

No, actually, I'm a Christian. I used to be indifferent about it until recently when I realized that people even pick new enemies because someone did not post about them. I understand the concept of celebrating one's life, at least before they die. However, in reality, many people have lost touch with the reality that the more birthdays they celebrate, the closer they are to their grave. All those '+1' posts are actually '-1. It wouldn't be a bad thing at all if we celebrate birthdays by simply counting our blessings and reflecting...though..
I do wonder whenever I see I am +1 today too and no one of them write -1. Thou, in my opinion thinking of closer to death during birthday celebration or rwmebering age might make one depressed but it is good to remind us that the life is vanity so you have to take things slowly and be doing good...thank you my brother.

It is one of the reasons I see birthdays differently from how many see it. It's always a sober moment for me. Each birthday you celebrate, you are actually closer to your death. Is the whole funfair necessary? Maybe, but do it with sense and reflection.

PoliticsTinubu: Nigeria’s Economy Not Distressed - Information Minister by kenny160(op): 8:25am On Mar 06, 2024
President Bola Tinubu has challenged the notion that the Nigerian economy is in distress, highlighting the unprecedented opportunities for growth and development in the country.

The President said this when he delivered a speech at the Leadership Conference and Awards 2023, held at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, on Tuesday.

“I should start by respectfully challenging the notion that the Nigerian economy is in distress. Distress suggests helplessness, being at the mercy of something we have no control over. But that is not the case here.

“We are in challenging times, no doubt, but these times have also been marked by unprecedented opportunities, to reset course and to build a new and sustainable economy, away from the rent-seeking and the waste that was once the order of the day,” Tinubu, who was represented by the Minister of Information and National Orientation,

“I should start by respectfully challenging the notion that the Nigerian economy is in distress. Distress suggests helplessness, being at the mercy of something we have no control over. But that is not the case here.

“We are in challenging times, no doubt, but these times have also been marked by unprecedented opportunities, to reset course and to build a new and sustainable economy, away from the rent-seeking and the waste that was once the order of the day,” Tinubu, who was represented by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, said.

This was contained in a statement released by the Special Assistant (Media) to the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Rabiu Ibrahim.

The President shared key initiatives and investment efforts by the administration to support Nigerian businesses, students, and vulnerable households, as well as to enhance food security and attract foreign direct investment.

Tinubu disclosed that intervention funds totaling N200 billion have been set aside to support Nigerian businesses; in addition to a new Federal Students’ Loan program and the Presidential Initiative on CNG.

The N200 Billion Naira, according to the President, will be disbursed through three (3) new special intervention funds established to support Nigerian businesses.

On the Presidential Initiative on CNG, the President noted the “imminent rollout of these CNG-powered buses which will bring down the cost of transportation by as much as 50 percent.”

The President also highlighted the substantial increase in revenues accruing to the three tiers of government since the removal of the petrol subsidy.

“This means more funds are available to directly impact the lives of Nigerians through investments in critical infrastructure, social security, and other areas,” he said.

Other efforts of the apex government, aimed at bringing economic relief to Nigerians, include the commencement of negotiations, between the Federal and State Governments and organised labour, for a new minimum wage for the country; and the scaling-up of the social investment programme.

“For the poorest and most vulnerable among us, the Social Investment Programme, currently under review to reposition it for maximum impact, will support millions of households with direct cash transfers that will enable them to meet their basic needs.”

The President reiterated the gains of his administration’s robust investment drive: “Since we assumed office in May 2023, we have attracted $30 billion in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) commitments into the real sectors of the economy, including Manufacturing, Telecoms, Healthcare, Oil & Gas, and others.

Just a few days ago, I was in Qatar on an official visit, where the Emir assured me that a senior government delegation would visit Nigeria after Ramadan, to begin taking action on some of the new investments they are looking at here. I have asked the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy to directly interface with the Qatari authorities to ensure that speedy progress is made.”

PoliticsComptroller Inspects Nigeria-niger Border Ahead Of Reopening by kenny160(op): 7:43am On Mar 06, 2024
As part of preparations for the reopening of the Nigerian border with the Niger Republic, the Customs Area Controller, Sokoto/Zamfara Command, Comptroller Kamal Mohammed, on Tuesday, paid a working visit to Illela Border Station to ensure all is set in anticipation of the reopening order.

During the visit, the comptroller, who was accompanied by his management team, said, “With the lift of ECOWAS sanctions on Niger Republic, and subsequent restoration of power supply to Niger Republic, it is on this premise I came to ensure all is set towards the reopening of the Illela border while we await the last order.”

The Federal Government had shut its borders with the Niger Republic following the takeover of government in the West African country by the military.

The border closure followed the decision of ECOWAS to impose sanctions on the country, with a view to forcing the military junta to step down from power.

The adamant junta, however, rebuffed the sanction and held onto power to date.

Furthermore, the Niger military junta formed an alliance with its counterpart in Burkina Faso and Mali and announced their pullout from ECOWAS.

However, following the intervention of Nigeria’s ex-military head of state, Gen Yakubu Gowon, ECOWAS on February 24 announced the lifting of sanctions on Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger Republic.

Speaking during the inspection of the Sokoto border, the Customs comptroller advised stakeholders and security agencies at the border station on the need for cooperation, especially in the area of intelligence and information sharing.

“With collaboration, each agency will be able to effectively and efficiently fulfill its assigned mandate,” he said.

He appreciated the Customs Licence Agents for their patience during the seven-month border closure.

“We know it has not been easy for you, but God willing it will soon become history,” Mohammed said.

He also thanked the Illela community for their hospitality.

He announced the plan by Customs to build a primary health care centre at the border station as a form of Cooperate Social Responsibility in appreciation of the community’s hospitality to Customs personnel.

The comptroller also paid homage to the Sarkin Gobir of Gwadabawa, Muhammad Zayyanu, calling on the traditional ruler to advise his subjects against smuggling.

Which is better...to continue to spiral into a horrible mess than before or to find a solution. I just don't get why we can't just keep sentiment aside for the good of all. I am Igbo. If I were to be sentimental or one sided, I would have been clamouring for Biafra on this forum day and night. But I know that secession is a dead on arrival move. So why can't we reason together and find a solution out of the horrible mess we are in. It is very obvious Tinubu is clueless as to how to fix Nigeria. Even if Peter Obi were to have won, it wouldn't have been a roller coaster for him. Agreed..The previous administration messed things up. But Tinubu must stop with the blame game and sort things out. If he can't fix things which is evidently the case everyday, then let's restructure the whole thing. If parliamentary system is what will save us, let's try it out.
