Hello everyone, i just went through all the comments of everyone and its all getting emotional.
We have an OP that believe that nothing is impossible and then we have some able body pros who feels that this shit is almost basically impossible.

I think that maybe 2-3years from now, with a whole lot of bad assets jacking and all that shit, maybe our OP could now source for funds to startup something. Am not pros, but i don't need a confessor to believe that our OP has little knowledge of the various shit that it would takes; which he has done us the pleasure of attestating to.

I personally work with my team, even as a student i have a software startup(registered) and i also have goal. I have some outrageous goal or dreams but i would prefer to go by the old adage of BIT BY BIT or LITTLE BY LITTLE.
So i also believe that when it comes to the software development, everything is possible; yeah, everything is, but i can't say i wanna create an app that would rub shoulders with Facebook or say i just want to get lucky just like these instagram guys did. At least not without knowing what am talking about.

I would suggest that everybody that has made Mr OP felt bad with himself should apologise and the OP should re-examine his dream remodify it to savour the moment.
Mr OP is high on energy today, but the question is that would he be tomorrow, next month, year or probably next decade.
This shit requires dedication and a whole lot of cash, Mr OP could also learn on the Job but i would SUGGEST that Mr OP changes or remodify or give us a subset of this big dream, then maybe everybody would be interested.

Y'all should mind ma comment o, its because am on mobile.

Please o no curse, abuse o.
Thank y'all

THIS ONE MAKES TIME TRAVEL LOOK EASY

undecided undecided lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

wowo, i really dont know to say to this.
@op thinks that this is achievable

what i would say is that a team of some random nairalander can't bring up smfin like this as this. It takes time, money and a some more real shit to bring up something like this.

Best of luck all d same
Programming / Re: What Mobile Platform Is The MTN App Competition Associated With? by Kennyinusa(m): 6:01pm On Sep 26, 2013
Hello, the mtn nextapps store is a cross platform app store i.e. you can download android apps, blackberry, ios, Nokia series.

Though they are on a long way with ios but as a programmer, you can develop for any of the platforms, and then upload your app to their store.

For paid apps, the percentage sharing is 60:40 with 40% to the developer.

Just with every profit maximization organisation the aim of the competition is to populated the store with locally relevant apps. So if you can develop your app(same app) to be cross platform, it increases your chances of winning.

That's why i won't be surprised if cross platform apps like efiko, nearest locator or something like that win.
This is not meant to discourage you, its means to know that everything about MTNextapps store is cross platform.

Hy guys, the fact that its bad new doesn't make it wrong, at least you a signing up with d terms and condition by participating in d competition.

Ok, let me ask dis question; For paid apps, how is d percentage sharing between MTN and d developer.

Info to everyone that's planning on applying for MTN NextApp Challenge

According to what i there reps said at the Info Session at CCHub, your app should only be found on the nextapps.mtnonline.com at least for the period of the competition. You app shouldn't be on Google's Play store or any other store.

Yeah you are very right!
The professional certificate in Process plant and piping design gave me the deep insight into understanding P&ID. and it cost me 1500 dollars.
Many can use the software but dont understand the pry things required to design a process plant and this is very necessary.
Where can I take the training and certification. I have always wanted to take the training, couldn't find a certified training center; except Lonadek. They keep on telling me I can't take the training because I have not finished my degree program. I'm so much interested in piping Designing. I have all the latest softwares(all thanks to MTN grin). I have been trying my hand on them but still think standard practice is fundamental.
Please house, where can I take a certified training on piping design? When I say certified, I mean Certified wink wink

Dessydanointed: tel me wat stands BB out except BBM
I laugh in HD when all this BlackBerry bashing android freaks come here and start saying ****. You guys should up your game. You blindly compare a blackberry that was released 2008 with the latest tech android devices, common how fair is that?
If you indeed need to compare blackberry with androids. Pls let it be the blackberry 10 devices. Z10, q10, and Q5. With your technos, iphones, Samsung s series, etc.
The specs of the z10 for example is way better that you cheap technos, the s2 and s3, the iphones 4 cheesy.. that's argueable anyway.
Pls give the blackberry users a rest pls

Uyi Iredia: Apparently there are undeniable advantages of Android phones over BB such as better apps, better hardware features and a more flexible customizability. I still don't see it heralding the death of BB in Nigeria because of the widespread appeal of BIS & BBM to the Nigerian populace. Was at Affordables recently to get a BB and the place was crowded with BB customers. I think most (not all) Android phones lack the competitive edge in terms of pricing. The one that comes close is Galaxy Pocket but its form factor brings disadvantages such as a short batter life and difficulty typing. Nuff said.

Let me clear the air by saying a Normal bis subscription works just done on the blackberry 10 devices.
You said something about better apps which I think is not so true cos I have the baddest of apps on my z10(skype, instagram, Netflix to name a few).
Hardware ability too is not a problem cos the z10 is a dual core, 2 gig ram phone( how many of your over hyped droids has such spec)
The blackberry 10 device is the bomb. The only advantage the droids had over BlackBerry was the apps available to users. But now I can easily get most if not all DROID apps.
I bet you DROID freaks will soon join the BlackBerry league.
Sent from my blackberry DROID.

If you all care to know, Am into my second-third year in programming.

I write Pascal, HTML5, BASIC, LINQ, Java(SE and EE), C#(XAML only), and a some web technologies. Am sorry if i actually made anybody feel small with my comment. I am also a newbie. I do not have my any application in any of the app market that we have around(Working on my first app). Thought i have done a lot of Shit.
I was at the national final of Imagine Cup(some couple of weeks ago), where we( myself and my team members) presented a lil something that read gesture from someone that communicate using Sign language and gives me the Speech.
I have worked on some A.I Shit, Image analysis, Image processing,Image compression, Compiler Construction .
I have built some very wonderful masterpiece when it comes to the web too.
I am presently working on something on Game Theory, Implementing a Data Grid, Bio-metrics, Programming the Kinect e.t.c.

Repeat: I am not a pro.

One thing that i would want you all to know is this. None of all this shit that i have listed above really counts, because as a matter of fact no one will use this software. So until you figure out this shit, you would just understand all the programming language in the world and you would ambivalently become a code monkey.

I stand corrected, i am not a pro. Am just me, trying to survive.

And for those of you that cares to know am an Undergraduate.
