Clap for yourself. You are now a machine with Artificial Intelligence and who also keeps data on the whereabouts of all of U.I graduates both past and present.

If you fail to see what my example is portraying, that getting a job in Nigeria(and being succesful) is more about you and not because your University ranks Number 1 or Number 100, then I can not help you.

That moment when you graduate with a 1st class from U.I(1st) and after 5 years of joblessness managed to get a job of 47k and the person with a 2:2 from OOU(97th) got a job of 200k immediately after NYSC.

Meaning: Only effect these rankings have is for graduates in every annual top 10 ranking to console themselves. When you get to the job market, it's all man for himself!

As a kid, I don't remember me starving fasting just to ask my father to pay my school fees, buy my books or christmas clothes. He paid for them as soon as possible. He knew my important needs without me asking and tried to fulfill them, yet he's not omnipotent nor omniscient.


Dunno why with the theist skydaddy it's a different ball game. You have to fast 20, 30, 100 days, call fire on enemies, go in the nude at midnight, go on a quest to some mountain just for the skydaddy to grant a request that 95% of the time is never granted.

That's not a kangaroo by the way. Kangaroos are slimmer,stand upright and are found in AUSTRALIA and nearby regions.

That's also not a rabbit nor hare. Real rabbits/hares are way smaller, hairy and 'cute' to look at.

This animal is just scary to look at! Seems like it's :
A) An overweight genetic mutated leporid. Probably feeding from a nearby radioactive waste.
B) A pregnant one as stated in (A)
C) Just a different and rare breed of animal we are not used to seeing.

To those who are thinking this can not or did not happen in Abuja due to it being the capital city must be seeing Abuja from the eyes of AMAC area council alone. It is in AMAC you hear about Gwarimpa, Asokoro,Maitama, Garki e.t.c where the Big men stay and where most people(in Nigeria) know as Abuja.

Meanwhile, Abuja has other area councils Abaji,Kwali,Kuje e.t.c which do not have that mordern city look with some of them having hidden towns and village settlements.

It's not mandatory.
If you know you can't make it to the convocation, due to some logistic reasons. The penalty/retribution is, after the convocation, you'll have to go and obtain your certificate at the headquarters.

You're required to go to the headquarters with a duly completed and authenticated clearance form issued at your Study Centre.

Much emphasis on oldest existing and continually operating, as there are other school of thoughts which hold that Takshila in India (Bihar) is the first ever university founded about 700 BC but was destroyed by invaders.

last semester's result has also been used in the graduating list.

i have seen my name on the first list that just came out and my project arrived lagos on december 12.

also i wrote last semester's exam also.

more lists are coming even up till friday evening.

don't panic.

results will be out 1-3 weeks after the convocation.

for last year, the results came out the night of 31st Jan. to Feb. 1.

Must one attend the convocation to get the certificate? Do you have any info about steps to take to get the certificate without necessarily being at the convocation. My name is on the list by the way.
