While I can not argue for or against how FAAN came up with the amount for fencing 22 airports as I have little knowledge of fencing cost, I would like to state that completely fencing the airports, if possible with electric fencing, CCTV and airforce personnels stationed at strategic positions, is necessary.

Big lie. Some of us and I'm sure I speak for a certain large percentage of Nigerian cinema goers actually love the cinema experience whenever our favourite genre (action movies mostly) premieres at the Cinema. I can not be waiting for cinema dub or torrent downloads months later when the euphoria of X-men Apocalypse(to be relesed by May 16, 2016) for example must have died down. Straight to the cinema to enjoy the experience!

You are the one that is out of touch with the reality on ground and has a programmed mind! No one is saying jobs are unavailable, read all my posts on this thread, they all point to the fact while the FEW jobs are available the competition for them is very high for INEXPERIENCED graduates even with polished CVs.

Are you thinking about yourself or other people? In a job situation, you have to try your best and be open-minded. But the CV remains your greatest asset to scale through first till interview stage. You see, a lot of folks out there probably don't know how to be articulative and sound natural during the process of interview to win the heart of interviewers. There are a few tricks for that as well.

You are still missing the point. There are little or no jobs out there! How do you know people are not taking both OP's opinion and yours and still not getting the job? How do you know out of 250 000 people vying for just 50 trainee positions, 10 000 took your opinion and are still left without jobs after the 50 are selected? What will make a Phd holder apply for a driver's position?

You can polish your CV, be articulate and sound natural from now till eternity just have it at the back of your mind that there are also tens of thousands of graduates with equally polished CVs(some with foreign qualifications), articulate and sounding natural also fighting for that same position as you. Infact, from 2011 till present, out of about 40 friends that I know got jobs, only 2 of them got jobs through their CVs others were through padi-padi connection. One even got job with Chevron through padi-padi connection. The same Chevron that thousands of graduates where fighting to enter back in 2012.

No one told me that, I was once in that position before becoming gainfully employed. When you see crowds at Job test centers, 250000 graduates vying for only 50 trainee positions. What happens to the remaining 249950 graduates? What happens to the hundreds of thousand graduates that will finish NYSC and join the 249950 graduates months later? How do you manage to stand out from mammoth applicants?

Jobs are scarce for graduates without experience that is just the truth .

You wasted too much time. I once forgot my wallet with some money and ATM,I was on the bike when I realized.Right on the bike I quickly drafted and sent a mail to same Access bank customer center. Not up to 5 mins later on getting home I received a call from female CC asking me what I wanted,and I replied to block the card immediately. All these happened on a Friday evening. You had an internet enabled phone you should have called them or sent a mail immediately.

Less rainfall can still be heavy. What it means by less is instead of 6 rainfalls within a space of 3 days during the rainy season you can have only 2 (light or heavy) showers.

There's a different Nigerian agency responsible for that. The National Weather Service in the United states is the equivalent of Nigerian Meteorological Agency in Nigeria. NASA in the Unite states is in charge of the whole space exploration thingy in while NASRDA is its Nigerian equivalent. Besides how much is your broke and stingy government willing to drop to fund space exploration?

Some places especially in Lagos are prone to floods due to poor and blocked drainage system, proximity to the sea like lekki e.t.c

Any small rain even 20 mins long can provoke floods in such areas you do not even need long rainy seasons for it to happen.

If farmers had enough resources to practice irrigation farming, dry spells during raining season would not be an issue.
If Government does not take such warnings from the meteorological agency serious by providing aids to help farmers especially in the North where it has been predicted to have dry spells, then we should be ready for an increase in the price of foodstuffs originating from North. More demand, less supply! Enough hunger in the land.

Not yet, we are just transiting gradually from a very hot dry season to rainy season. One or two months of rain and water level in the dams will rise back! By then, people will have forgotten quickly how we suffered without light in Late February and March.
