Sounds interesting. Will bookmark it and come back to read at a later time. |
. Nice one! |
Same car will still drag with Molues, Danfos and BRTs in any serious lagos traffic except it can fly in such situation kini big deal. #Justsaying oo before Ebube a**lickers pounce on me. |
Abeg Wesley quickly feature in another action movie I still have that Blade flick running in my head. |
@OP Good deeds don't make the news only the bad ones do because they spread fast like cancer and it is these bad ones that are used to judge a group of people. Only a few people in this world would remember Bill Clinton quote Philip Emeagwali's achievements in a speech as an example of what Nigerians could achieve when given the opportunity. But most would remember Nigerians instead as Scammers or worse as t*****ists because of Abdul Mutallab and Boko Haram. |
Are you based in abuja? |
Lagusta: I'd rather send my child abroad than spend that kind of money, i even heard those schools dont teach well sef....I don't think so, with the amount of money being collected as fees I am certain the schools will teach well not necessarily better than your average school though. Also people will tell you they don't teach well due to 'Bad Belle-ism' . Ask any of the 'Bad-Belles' how they came to that conclusion when they never sent their wards/kids to such schools and gain a first-hand experience of the teaching style and you will get a silly response from them. |
Lagusta: Even if they use british, american, czechoslovakian, or tajikstanian curiculum, its still the same physics, chemistry, biology, economics, geography, history, commerce, accounting, religious studies, etc that is being taught everywhere.... The only difference being language barrier.....Hey, I did Latin in secondary school then but my school fees were never high yet I can speak French and know a bit of Latin. It was a catholic boarding school though, hence the low fees but quality education. Heard they pay about 60K per term now. That is still low now abi? In my time we paid 15 to 17k per term. Why do I keep returning to this thread despite the 'Mind my busines and mind my pocket' slogan . |
Simply cut your coat according to your size! ![]() Just wondering if the subjects taught in these expensive primary and secondary schools are different from what I learnt back in school. Is it not the same physics in which the principle of floatation relates to Archemedes principle, chemistry that speaks about Hydrocarbons or ABC rhyme that goes as A for Analysis, B for Buoyancy... Z for Zygapophysis ?Anyway back to my first sentence this time in capital letters no need complaining SIMPLY CUT YOUR COAT ACCORDING TO YOUR SIZE or as the op put it "Mind my business and my pocket too". ![]() |
Spartacus: Blood and Sand (Season 1) Spartacus: Gods of the Arena (Season 2) Spartacus: Vengeance (Season 3) Spartacus: War Of the Damned (Season 4) ...... Need I say more?
Better you said less. Spartacus: Gods of the Arena is not, I repeat, is not Season 2 but a prequel to Spartacus Blood and Sand. It was used to tell us the events that happened before the season 1. Vengeance is the original Season 2 of Spartacus. Just type spartacus season 2 in Google search and tell me if it is Vengeance or Gods of the Arena you will get as season 2. In your words : Need I say more? |
Spartacus Yes! Game Of Thrones No! I'll still watch Game of thrones season 3 though when I am done with Spartacus but right now Spartacus Season 3 Episode 4 and 5 downloading. By the way, there's no Spartacus Season 4 , na Alaba people dey call the present Spartacus wey dem dey show season 4. Spartacus season 3 finale will be shown on the 12th April 2013 any one that sells Spartacus season 3 to you as complete as at today is selling you fake or incomplete series. |
Kai OP, God will bless you for this write up. Once again I say God will bless you my brother. I like the way you typed your post without necessarily insulting anyone, if only we could have more Nigerians like you. I am not a muslim though but I understand you perfectly,IMHO, the summary of your write up is just being a good role model no matter who you are or the religion you practice. I have a muslim female colleague (engineer), who happens to be my best friend (lol) at work and I can vouch for her in terms of being intelligent (as an engineer) and a true muslim any day any time.#TrueTalk. Now that's a true role model I would like not all these fake girls who know nothing else than to put on heavy makeup and expose all their body parts to the world. |

Just shaking my head at the level of ignorance exhibited by some people here. If you had any idea about ancient greek mythology (about pluto and the gods of the underworld) you would know that the Cave/Gates of hell being referred to here by the scientists is of ancient greek mythology not hell that christians claim to know. It is even stated in the post that ancient mythology was used as a guide, if only people would just read and not let ignorance and sentiments becloud their judgement(abusing the scientists for example) the world will be a better place. |
Yawns... Next story please! |
Slow news day for nairaland! |
That is not the true picture of the Mr.Biggs at Karu. ![]() |
I dey laff #in OBJ's voice. You lots should count yourselves lucky that you have husbands that get jealous playfully and complain when any one touches or compliments the wife. Some men have even forgotten they have wives at home, they don't care if she wakes up in rags, has her hair done to look beautiful or compliment her once in a while. All they care for is young and sexy mistresses, spend and lavish money on them. An adage goes thus especially to the op: You never realise the importance of what you have till you lose it. Better enjoy your husband and stop bothering yourself . |
GraceBestowed: I was half expecting to see an 'unclad' man, beaten up, maybe at death's door - that seems to be the order of the day now in Nigeria when people are caught doing something wrong, or even when they're innocent! Thank God this wasn't the case!Sorry to disappoint you, Edo people are not mad men ! ![]() |
90 million naira is small fine to be paid by MTN which will definitely go into the pockets of NCC, no wonder NCC employees are well paid in terms of government job. I believe NCC should fine MTN and also make them compensate customers, this way both NCC and Nigerian customers end up happy. It will be a win win situation I tell you. |
You give amnesty na wahala, You no give amnesty na still wahala. Which way my Niger-Delta people? |
Oya moderators close this thread, everyone has had a field day bashing this chap! Everybody don talk him own! I loved his back flips though! Dude even broke his ankle doing a frontflip and was injured for the rest of the season meanwhile abeg close the thread. No use flogging a dead horse over and over again! |

He is way too tense with lies! Wow that's a major accusation... What is expected of adeboye 1. React or 2. Turn his other cheek and get slapped again as a true christian should What is expected of redeem and adeboye's followers 1. Be quiet,Let adeboye fight his battle with the lady. 2.If you have ever insulted another man's religion, man of God or committed any sin at all as a true christian please be quiet and say nothing. |
Poolmaster83: pLS what is the correct english word for this MOIN MOINThe correct word is moi-moi, just like spaghetti, pizza for the italians, taco for the mexicans, I can proudly say moi-moi for Nigerians. Why do you have to find an english word when English should adopt ours when it comes to food? Same goes for akara (not bean cake), eba, amala e.t.c |
Please ladies stop putting fish, egg, meat, chicken e.t.c inside your moi-moi abeg, It's more like a mission searching for liver or fish when I should just eat my moi-moi and enjoy it. Let's keep our moi-moi simple abeg. ![]() |
You guys don't know what you have started here and in the other Enugu rangers thread. I know Nairaland is a very good platform for publicity if this charisma and zeal to support our local clubs are sustained for the next two years on Nairaland, I bet you Nigeria premier league will amass so many support from different sponsors and millions of fans alike. |
