Christianity EtcRe: Should A Student Pay Tithe? by kevoh(m): 12:15am On Mar 10, 2013
fubbyy: and you think success come by hard working alone?

What about the hard workers that are poor?
And you think people like Mark Zuckerberg, dangote et all became successful through paying tithes. Hard work man! As rich as those people are today they still work their behinds off.Heck, I know of a friend's uncle from Kogi state who is mega rich and into construction this man still works like there's no tomorrow.

Nigeria is a country where people pay tithes, organise fellowships during work hours instead of working, go to the ministries you will see them plenty no one wants to work at all they are all expecting a financial miracle of some sort and they expect the country to move forward without doing their jobs as expected.

Countries that are doing well got to their positions through hardwork e.g China

Hard workers might not necessarily be super rich but they all have a certain feeling of accomplishment. Christ worked hard to get his teachings across. Paul and other apostles did the same moving from one city to another.
The early missionaries to Nigeria, being selfless, left the comfort of their countries to bring this same christianity that most Pastors have polluted with their own prosperity teachings not for once did they ask for a Private jet or force the new converts to tithes. They built schools which were most times free and hospitals. Now that's hard work and selfless service to humanity.

I know your type only see christianity from the prosperity angle and I am not bothered one inch, I just pray you get to see the light soon enough.
Christianity EtcRe: Should A Student Pay Tithe? by kevoh(m): 6:44pm On Mar 09, 2013
Lathunjimi: Tithe paying is an act of faith though I never paid any as a student but as an earner I now pay my tithe & I've being experiencing devine promotion in my career NB: its an act of FAITH, u only practise what u believe.
You got promotion through your hardwork Mr.Man. If you had sat down at home and decided not to put extra effort into your job and career if you like pay tithe from now till thy kindom come NOTHING for you.

When will people open their eyes to see things.
Christianity EtcRe: Should A Student Pay Tithe? by kevoh(m): 6:32pm On Mar 09, 2013
How about concentrating on how to get a first class degree through hardwork rather than bother yourself with tithe issues.

Let me tell you something if you like pay more than 50% as tithes if you don't work hard NOTHING for you. It is written ' Heaven help those who help themselves' .

victorazy: Ignorant is a disease. How can a man climb electric pole without insulator any covering him !
I wander why we blacks are mentally related to animals, maybe that's why they r calling us black moki? grin grin
There's nothing funny in what you typed up there, so quit the smiles, how does insulting blacks unnecessarily relate to the main topic?

I've seen and read about far worse and dumber deaths by people who are not blacks. Watch a thousand ways to die and you will be surprised.
Quit the inferiority complex man!
SportsRe: How Often Do You Watch Nigeria Premier League? by kevoh(m): 10:47am On Mar 09, 2013

NYSCRe: Otondos, Share Your First-day Camp Experience! by kevoh(m): 8:10am On Mar 06, 2013
yeye4live: i made sure i got 3girls on my bed d 1st day i arived camp
Liar! Most Corps members tend to be unsettled on the first day of camp, some have no kit, some are yet to complete registration which goes far late into the evening.

Stop fabricating stories just to feel among! Most of us on Nairaland are ex-corps members and we know how stressful Ist day can be let alone bedding not one but three girls!
PoliticsRe: Atiku Donates N1.5M To Journalist With Kidney Problem by kevoh(m): 9:52am On Mar 05, 2013
If Atiku donates more than 7 million, una go complain say na campaigning, 1.5 million una go still complain say 'why didn't he donate all the 7 million naira needed' if he donate 150k una go complain say d man too stingy.

People can never be pleased better to do the right things that feel right to you and let others whine about it.

Publicity stunt or not the journalist has seen part of the money needed and all of you complaining should either donate to the man's cause or shut up!

PoliticsRe: Sanusi Receives N25,000 Allowance Daily For Local Trips by kevoh(m): 6:40pm On Feb 05, 2013
I receive a meagre N12000 per night allowance (mostly 3 days trips) when I go on trips for maintenance/repairing of equipment around Nigeria for my Agency which is not even often.

I don't believe Sanusi, I think he collects way more than that if someone on my level earns 12k per night, then a governor should earn more than 25k per night.

CareerRe: Bs.c Or 15MILLION Naira,which Would You Pick? by kevoh(m): 8:12am On Jan 28, 2013
If it is to pick 15 million Naira and not go to school, I'm sorry I'd pick a bachelors degree in engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) any day any time. Now that's a good equivalent of 15 million Naira not just ordinary Bsc from one mushroom University.

Christianity EtcRe: Catholic Church Pulls Out Of CAN! by kevoh(m): 2:54pm On Jan 23, 2013
1.They are pulling out because CAN is not being run the way it will meet the objectives setup by CAN from inception. Is the bolded part that hard for some people to understand? What is it with the catholics are unhappy they didn't win the election?

2. They are only pulling out at the national level, they will still be represented at the state level. In other words they are still with CAN. People should try and read posts before making sentimental comments. Haba!

How to succeed in the Nigerian blogosphere:
1. Create a new blog
2. Use you blog to stir up some controversies with fake Nigerian celebrities who actually have nothing to offer.
3. Pretend as if you're not using the avenue to direct traffic to your blog.
4. Critisize other blogs and forums/fora
that are years ahead of yours like nairaland.
5. Repeat step 3.
6. Finally, stop the pretence after gaining enough attention and start talking about your blog.

There you go, it's simple as ABC.

Lol at 3years... That's how it goes with some FG activities, the most important thing now is that people will be employed, start to earn better salaries and taken out of the large pool of jobless graduates or semi-employed graduates(those unsatisfied with their former jobs).

It is a Win-Win situation I tell you.
