Religion / Why Do You Go To Church/Mosque? by Keziah(f): 1:16pm On Mar 23, 2007
“Different Strokes for Different Folks” they say. Some people go to their place of worship for different reasons. It can be because they just want to belong OR for spiritual reason OR fun and even for business. You might think I am over stressing these facts but these things do happen or the time

Why do you go to your Church/Mosque ?
Religion / Weird Behaviour Of Some Churches. by Keziah(f): 1:08pm On Mar 23, 2007
Why do some churches especially Jehovah Witnesses/Deeper Life don't like attending other Churches when invited but want others to migrate from their (Your own church) to theirs. I think this is really weird.

Why do they really do this? Those concerned do you have any explanation(s)?

Phones / Glo's New Voice Message (Glo Users Glo With Pride!) by Keziah(f): 12:21pm On Mar 23, 2007
Glo subscribers and Glo lovers this is really cool for ALL. All you need to do is dial 114, then include the recipient’s Number e.g (11408012345678) and send. The operator will tell you to leave a 30secs voice  message then press *  to send. This feature costs N15 per Voice Message.

For you to check if you have voice message from friends and love ones just dial 115. To listen to the voice message again dial 116, that’s just it (This is free). I have tried it and it’s really cool. A very  good way to spend less.

People tell  me if this is not cool. And I guess Glo is the first to bring this new feature. Abeg GLO WITH PRIDE!
Romance / Re: Have You Ever Considered Going On A Blind Date? by Keziah(f): 2:29pm On Mar 22, 2007
Sisimose you can give us a brief detail of what happend on that day. I have a friend who is in such a situation right now, and she has even given up on herself. I have given her all the advice that i can ever think of but she is bent on going on blind date via online dating service. I actually need the comments and experiences of people either negative or positive, for her to know the pros and cons of this game.

So, once again your comment will be greatly appreicated.
Romance / Re: Have You Ever Considered Going On A Blind Date? by Keziah(f): 6:32pm On Mar 20, 2007
Seun i wouldn't do that if i am in such a dire situation.  The smart thing to do is to wait on God and not admit defeat by going to such a bizzare adventure. Or is there anyother worse/better name for that?
Romance / Have You Ever Considered Going On A Blind Date? by Keziah(f): 6:22pm On Mar 20, 2007
Going on a blind date is risky business. For several reasons.
For one, it means you have officially reached rock bottom. You are now a charity case that is incapable of attracting a date by yourself.
Now you need help.
And you are getting it from all angles whether solicited or not. Everybody has somebody that nobody wants. And they somehow think that YOU would want that person. I guess maybe that’s because they figure that just like that somebody who nobody else wants, you are in fact somebody else that nobody wants… and why wouldn’t two unwanted people want each other? Makes sense, doesn’t it? You have truly reached rock bottom…

For two, the blind date that you are hooked up with can be very damaging to your self image. But…

The ultimate and profound low point is when… you… join… a… dating service. That is just inexcusable. For the two reasons above and for the additional reasons that now even your friends have given up on you and at this point you have also given up on yourself.

Now you need PROFESSIONAL help.

I agree with this writer's view. Going on blind date is the worse thing/decision a single person can make. And for those who have gone on blind dates it will really be appreciated if you give your experience for others to learn from.

Religion / Re: Child Christening On The Eighth Day Is It A Biblical Observation Or? by Keziah(f): 5:04pm On Mar 19, 2007
Babyosi thanks for your comment but that wasn't an answer. I am talking about peoples' belief and i wanted to know the truth since we have alot of doctirnes today. I wanted to hear other peoples' view based on the churches they attend and their doctrines. So ur view will be appreciated rather than being dry about it.
TV/Movies / Re: The Gardener's Daughter by Keziah(f): 4:33pm On Mar 18, 2007
jukehinde:

holla evry1, seems to me that no one is interested in the Gardener's daughter after Paloma.i find it more interesting than Paloma's story,so try and catch a glimpse although PHCN will not even allow us enjoy the story.

The story is centered around the daughter of a gardener who happens to fall i love with a son of the owner of a bank and the stoy goes on and on,

Sorry Girl i totally disagree with you. I guess you never watched When U are Mine from the beginning to end if you did then you certainly have poor judgment of rating a Soap. Like as i said in my post WUAM VS TGD,  TGD is like a child's play compared to WUAM.

The person who came up with WUAM most be a genius. The characterisation was marvelous. The plot and every other thing that made the Soap a success was well put in place. And to tell you the truth there has been no other Soap (I mean the current ones being aired) that has gotten the success and popularity WUAM had.

Maybe until i come up with my Soap, then will WUAM become 2nd best grin

What can one say? They are rich, spoilt and they have all the money to throw around. What else do you want them to do with their money mostly when they are young, spoilt, social and egotistic?

I guess nothing but to spend it the way they know how to. Abeg make them continue because i love the show despite the ills.
Religion / Child Christening On The Eighth Day Is It A Biblical Observation Or? by Keziah(f): 7:16pm On Mar 16, 2007
I understand that there are some Religious  Denominations/groups that don’t christen their children on the eighth day according to the doctrines of some other churches and the reason they gave was that, after the coming of Christ everything changed. Even though He was born and christened on the eight day (according to the Jewish tradition in those days) but later made those around Him understand that his coming changed everything, including observation of the Sabbath day and most of the Jewish Laws then.

My question is: Child Christening on the Eighth Day is it a Biblical Observation  or Nigerian/Yoruba Tradition?

Pls. I need your opinion as this affects a lot of people Financially.
Celebrities / Re: Most Beautiful Nigerian Actress/Actresses by Keziah(f): 6:42pm On Mar 16, 2007
There are lots of pretty/beautiful actreses in Nollywood, and they are all very special in their own kind ways. To get the most beautiful among them can be a very hard task but i guess i can vouch for these:

1 - Dakore Egbuson & Ini Edo
2 - Omotola Jalede/Stella Damascus
3 - Grace Amah/Regina Askia
4 - Rita Dominic & Chioma Chukwuka
5 - Liz Benson/Stephane Okereke/Joke Sliver

Make una no try put Genevive for that list at all. Abeg people make unah open una eye.
TV/Movies / "When You Are Mine" Vs "The Gardener’s Daughter." by Keziah(f): 5:18pm On Mar 16, 2007
I was watching “When You Are Mine” on LTV when someone asked me why I am still interested in watching the Soap Opera that everyone has forgotten about and that he preferred watching  TGD (“The Gardener’s Daughter”) to  “When you are Mine”
If you ask me any day, any time I think When You Are Mine is still the best in all ramifications compared to TGD. TGD is like a child’s play compared to  When You Are Mine (Ask those that watched the Soap from beginning to end).  If you think other wise,, then prove me wrong. What’s your opinion people?

TV/Movies / “When You Are Mine” Vs “the Gardener’s Daughter.” by Keziah(f): 4:55pm On Mar 16, 2007
I was watching the Soap Opera "When u are Mine" on LTV when someone said the Soap Opera is already forgotten by everyone since TGD (The Gardener’s Daughter) came on Air and that he preferred TGD to the former. If u ask me for my candid opinion I think TGD is like a child’s play compared to “When u’re Mine.” Any day, anytime When u’re Mine is still the best (for those who watched the Soap from the beginning to the end). If u think otherwise, you can prove me wrong. What’s your opinion people?

Religion / Re: How Many Times Do I Need To Say In Jesus Name While Praying? by Keziah(f): 6:56pm On Feb 03, 2007
Bobbyaf:

I see your point and its a valid one. Its not necessary and, I find it a big tun off. Imagine talking to a friend and he is constantly saying your name ever so often. Notice Jesus' model prayer to His disciples? Notice how many times He used the word "Father" Only once did He use the title "Father"

True talk. As true Christians in line with Matt 6:7, i think we should adhere to the instruction there and stop being hypocrites for once. I don't think those that do such things will appreciate it if they were in such position.
Religion / Re: Must My Pastor Rake Me To Fall In The Name Of Deliverance? by Keziah(f): 6:12pm On Feb 03, 2007
I feel ur pain man. I also had an experience like that some years ago, not long after then i quit the church. How man go open him eye dey see hypocrisy then he go call am serving the living God? As for me i no fit so i migrated from the Church to a more decent one.

This Particular Pastor was invited to my church for deliverance session. After praying for all the members and we the choir members busily singing there is power mighty in the blood of Jesus Christ, he asked us the choiristeers to come to the front to feel the power of the Holy Ghost and alot of them were busy falling like pack of cards, when it got to my turn my dear, (if only "my guy" (the Pastor) knew i was from Warri and i have experience in such things the guy for no try play rough play that day) so the man placed both hands on my head, can you imagine? BOTH HANDS! and started chanting choruses, wetin concern me, i was busy looking at his face hoping to the Holy Spirit with my koro-koro eye but my guy was just busy chanting his choruses.

At a stage, the man stoped looked, at me and vibrated' in the process pouring me showers of blessing from his mouth. Wetin man go do? I mantain and i was like my guy na heree we go tey put, in fact both of us go old here til Jesus come.

But,

My guy gave up and told my Pastor i have a very strong familiar spirit and he should monitor me closely.

Tell me. If that is true, IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD? ABI FAMILIAR SPIRIT DON PASS GOD OWN. After all Jesus casted about seven different demons from Mary's body. So if what these pastors are saying is true, then what stop them from casting the demons out?

Pls beware of fake pastors they will only end up casting dirty demons on you instead.

Keep posting them i am feeling you Nairalanders
