picture is over-exaggerated...there are about 5 or 6 players in that huddle so does that mean the other 4 or 5 also want to leave? obviously rooney is not happy but the camera-man manipulated the pic by cropping out the left side to make it seem like the entire team celebrated without him. personally i'm tired of rooney but there is no way we are selling him for 25 when we bought him for that same price ten years ago! taking inflation into account plus the fact that he is in his prime years right now, we can't sell him for anything less than 40. take it or leave it... just shows that he aint as good as he thinks he is when no one is prepared to bid above 25 for him at this stage of his career |

i love modenine's style but then the problem with him is that he is trying to emulate the old school american hip hop which but in nigeria... in order for that kinda music to succeed you would have to completely import american culture...nigerians are too different. Mode9 needs to be conscious of the nigerian struggle. when you do this kind of music (non-danceable beats) people really need to be able to connect to your message otherwise u lose relevance. Modenine for me has always been at his best when rapping about the things Nigerians can connect with e.g Nigeiran Girls, Stylee, Cry...the other songs just seem like he is talking in a foreign language... |

1. is just common sense but at some point way before marriage ill tell her my one golden rule. don't ever lie to me....ever. even if she cheats i can forgive but cheat and lie is the end of the story. 2. don't test her all the tym just a few really serious ones. e.g take her out and tell her she can't order beyond a certain amount.  do it more than once and you'll see her true colors 3. is exactly correct.... dunno why but females are always onpoint. ur female friends are also very gud cuz somehow even if drs nuthin going on between yu and dem they get very jealous and are quick to spot faults 4. that one is basic.... i'm gonna be cooking with wifey....(from time to time o! and i mean from very long time to very long time) 5. command her respect... but don't command her all the time. one day she might just flare up and refuse to do as you command..what are you going to do then especially if she makes her own money? beat her? divorce her? starve her of that thing? Jesus never built a sanctuary even though he had multitudes coming to listen to him. why? because the church is not meant to be stationary, apostles are to GO. action word, means move not stay in one place. 3. somewhat unconnected to this issue but i tell you if just one of these big churchs would stand up and say so and so in society is wrong and call its members to protest against it, we would see progress. why is the church unconcerned with the society when we intrinsically intertwined? it is because christians have turned church into a place where we go to to escape the harsh realities of life in nigeria. we go to church to pray for change and to be happy for 2-3 hours but once service is over, its back to the same old harsh reality of nigeria. if christians are suffering in poverty i don't expect pastors to offer the solution of paying more tithes and offerings rather i expect pastors to be able to challenge the government to change the conditions for the people. all these pastors are well educated! what is their excuse? you can call for huge crusades, nation wide day of prayer so why can't you mobilize the people to stand up for their rights? Dr Martin Luther king jr whom many of you may not also know as Reverend Martin Luther King Jr is the perfect example of a man of God who did not merely present church as a place of escape but he knew that the church had power and he used it to practically show God's love to the world. as a redeemed church member and alumni of redeemers high school, Pastor Adeboye sir, a huge building is not what we need right now unless the 40% of unemployed youth in nigeria are goin to be permanently employed therein. that is unless it was a directive from God, in which case my own mouth no dey dr. 1 Like |

[/quote]listen up you! what are you saying?? is there any contract that does not have terms and conditions whether under that title or in the form of clauses stop spouting off your opinion as if it is fact. he was sent a contract, he read it didn't like it altered it and sent it back to them as a counter offer. is there a law against making modifications to contracts?? absolutely not! this is done a lot in the business world, the only thing he did that was out of the ordinary was not to notify them of his changes which he cannot be legally held responsible for as it remains their responsibility to read through every contract. they didnt read through because they assumed that no one would modify their contract but the fact remains that the modification was legal. fraudulent? yes, but legal as well? yes! thats what we call exploiting loopholes misterregardless of whether the bank intended for the offer to be absolute, they made an offer, a counter offer was made and they signed off on it. thats all. 1 Like |

[/quote]wrong! obviously there was no such clause and even if there was, it would be meaningless. both parties have a right to review a contract before signing and like someone earlier said the amendment to the contract would be viewed not as an amendment to the original contract but as a counter offer to the original contract. therefore, such a clause is completely meaningless except if the amendment was physically made on the original contract agreement. it is absolutely not the responsibility of the offeror to highlight the provisions and clauses of a contract. that is the reason why you are given a contract agreement to read and sign on. ceteris paribus, there is no case against the man. |

lol you guys are all wrong on so many levels. 1. he is a young player, so what if he was excluded for just one game he has a lot of time to continue to prove himself and if he does he might just go on to become a regular for them.2. he is still eligible to play for Nigeria. he only played in a friendly game and elgibility constraints are based on competitive games. so no story here |
