SportsRe: An Interesting Analysis Of Mikel & Makelele by Kgdavid(m): 9:43pm On Jul 23, 2013
I really pray Mikel moves to another club so he can shine... now i understand why a player like Jay Jay playd so many years at mediocre bolton...sometimes its better to be a big fish in a little pond. i also think that english football myt not be the best for mikel in an attacking sense cuz he is very deliberate on the ball whereas the english league attacking play is very fast paced... maybe playing as an attackin mf is not ryt for him but id love to see him in a cm role like xavi which is kinda what he plays for naija
As far as I am concerned, Mikel is dull and useless as a football player.maybe he should try some other field. I know somebody will tell me he is making his money and that I am hating. I do not hate mikel obi and I know he is making millions but I'm just saying it as it is.
plz sharrap and stop talking about stuff you have zero knowledge about.

dayokanu: Off the top of my head I can name 10 black players who have played for madrid.

Seedorf, Christian Karembeu, Mamadou Diarra, Lassana Diarra, Geremi Njitap, Samuel Etoo Fils, Claude makelele, Michael Essien, Marcelo, Emmanuel Adebayor, Pepe
now compare that number to the number of white players that have played for real. also how many of those black players were appreciated?

i don't have time read through all of this stuff, her arguments are for moslems to read and debate...all i know is that Children must not be married to adults in Nigeria!! the constitution gives you the right to practice your religion but not to the extent that you begin to practice religious rights which contravene human rights.

im impressed that the lady could still marry the guy under such circumstances.... real love? i personally think it would have been better to go without anything rather than substituting bread for cake...kinda makes a mockery of the whole thing? nothing at all would have been better than what they did which has turned their wedding into an online joke....the person who circulated the pic is also a wicked person.

omasee!
PoliticsRe: Senator Ahmed Yerima Replies His Critics by Kgdavid(m): 3:10am On Jul 21, 2013
as far as i'm concerned giving a child away in marriage is tantamount to engaging in an act of child slavery. it is grossly unfair, wicked and extremely backward. that we have such people serving in our country's leadership is a call to immediate revolution. we no longer desire to be governed by uneducated men of ill breeding! we no longer desire to be led by blind men when our own eyes are opened!! we can think for ourselves!! we don't need Barack Obama or David Cameron to come over here and insult us by pointing out the depravity of such a silly man. fellow Nigerians how much longer will we continue to tolerate such unthinkable rubbish?

no no no...Garba lawal has already been replaced with ahmed musa as for obodo he is one for the future, maybe in the next five years we can recall him. but i won't mind oruma coming in to play that number 10 role...very skilful guy also...in fact God bless u for makin this inspired suggestion.

so far, the midfield has really been performing very well but one thing i would like to suggest in order to add further strength, is the immediate recall of Oluwaseyi George Olofinja. this guy is a beast in the middle... i belive with the recall of Joseph Enakahire, Pius Ikedia and Seyi Olofinjana, Nigeria will be set. Up Super Eagles

MekT: The smart ones haff started coming out...at least u're naming names...bur i want u to still recall dat dese players u have named haff deir disadvantages around Keshi....Pride!!!, Keshi'z inability to control dem...it mite b thru dat Keshi mite want to bring out home based talentz so he'll haff a % wen they finally go to europe and all dat n all dat...bur i wud rada watch a mixture of home base n foreign based players dat Keshi can control...dan watch Foreign based playerz dat'll haff problemz wif the coach den go to the World Cup n flop... Datz my take on dis mata rite naw.
well this is the nigerian national team...all those fellas are always gonna have egos but Keshi has proven he is the boss and has gained his respect. all them players with egoes who missd out on the nations cup victory will be on their knees begging to get back in the squad. i think we can still do well without em but with all our top quality players around and playing the kind of football we've been playing we're easily gonna be one of the top ten teams in the world cup.
SportsRe: Sunday Oliseh Replies Stephen Keshi! - by Kgdavid(m): 2:28am On Jul 11, 2013
i think Oliseh makes valid points which may be applicable generally but not in this case. like i keep saying its kinda funny but all this noise is really just about two players: Peter Odemwingie and Gambo Mohammed. if the issues concerning these two had never come up then there would be no argument over home based or foreign based players.

my own concern is that there are certain stars this team is built around and if they get injured its wahala. we hve already seen that with moses and emenike. now ask yourself; what happens if Mikel gets injured? who will replace him? sunday Mba?? its funny cuz i really like Mba but the very thing i have been afraid of has happened. becasue he score a couple of critical goals everyone is suddenly overrating him...Sunday Mba does not have the quality to play in europes top leagues. at best belgium/holland is his level. i hate to be the one to say it but its just the ugly truth. you cannot compare Sundya Mba to Haruna Lukman... never! even though the world cup team he played in was poor, he was still one of the shining stars of that team. i'd really love to see him back in the team along with the likes of reuben gabriel and joel obi. Sone Aluko too better be called up that boy is a star!

edi287: +100000000000000000000000000000000000000. Oboabona and Mba were the only home based players that made an impact at afcon. The others are average at best. Oliseh also made a good point about the quality of play in our league. I admire Keshi for the respect he commands, but tactically, he's nothing special.
you are a big dreamer

no offence but you are the one who is a goat head sir. all Ecobank subsidiaries are sending their top managers to their headquarters in Lome and you are here saying the facilitator should be flown into Nigeria. learn to read properly
CareerRe: Ecobank Sent 100 Managers By Road To Lome by Kgdavid(m): 4:45pm On Jul 09, 2013
Frendys: Every good soldier must endure hardship initially.

Being on the road will surely make them think better. lol

On a serious note a colleague of mine was literaly thrown into an Italian village sometime past where no one speak English prior to his being made a Manager. Today he is a big shot in the same company and has excellent command of the language and the management culture of the company.

Consequent to the trip they made by bus, the chaff shall be separated from the wheat and the bank will be better for it.

By this singular step, I may consider banking with them. Naturally a bank should be managed conservatively!

Some of those on the trip will emerge top guys tomorrow. Mark my word.
ridiculous to assert that they will become top guys as a result of this mis-adventure. the article has already described them as 60 of the most promising employees of ecobank group, does that not imply that they are already on their way to greatness?

its a pity nigerians do not read well before commenting.

the article says 100 staff from the entire ecobank group were selected wit 60 of these coming from nigeria. the article also states that every other country sent its employees by air. if that is the case then why would the company's largest profit making subsidiary chose to send its staff by road? the cost of sending them by air would be about 4.8 million naira not the 8 million as previously claimed.

the article also states that some staff offered to pay for their own air tickets but were not allowed to do so.

this means that the company forced their staff against their will to undergo an unnecessarily long and stressful trip in order to save costs. for a bank of ecobank's stature 4.8 million spent on a trip of that nature should not be a big problem at all! i work in the corp world too so i know exactly what i am saying.
SportsRe: Top 10 Nigerian Players Of 2013 by Kgdavid(m): 4:20am On Jul 09, 2013
so just as i thought this list is basically the nations cup first 11 bar one or two players...so its kinda pointlessly obvious :/

every nations top ten would be the ten most consistent players to feature for their national team. narrow the list to top three then we'll have something to talk about.
PoliticsRe: Women Join Hunt For Boko-Haram Suspects In Borno by Kgdavid(m): 4:12am On Jul 09, 2013
this is such a stupid move. the government must act now to check the wanton, unsupervised proliferation of arms all in the name of civilian JTF. this is where it all begins, before long people will start killing their neighbours and claiming they were boko guys, then all other sorts of conflicts will escalate. imagine one of the iron smiths said his sales have gone up by 80%... are we going to be naive enough to assume that the entire increase in sales is due to the needs of the so called civilian JTF? arms are getting into the hands of people with more sinister intentions! this civilian JTF rubbish must stop immediately. what the authorities should do is equip civilians to pass on relevant information in a timely fashion. thats how proper effective intelligence networks are built. this civilian JTF of an idea is a horrid horrid one.
Christianity EtcRe: Nigerian Men Dont Serve God Like Their Women: Why? by Kgdavid(m): 9:19pm On Jul 07, 2013
rhymz: it's ironical that the christian believe that the
only way God could fix the world (which by the
way, thesame bible claims he created) was
through blood-atonement of his own son, Jesus
Christ yet history has shown and proved that
such belief is rooted in acient pre-christian
customs of sacrificing humans and animals, a
barbaric, scapegaot ritual. And we are meant to
believe that this is all God's plan according to the
tenets of the Christian beliefs. Believers ridicule as fiction, similar pre-christian religious & cultural dogmas to theirs but accept theirs as sacrosanct & divine.

You see my friend, the problem with your religion is that it abhors critical unthinking and turns a blind eye to the pphysical eevidence of history. Iinstead, it thrives on illogical belief systems and false portrayals of history and events.

While this topic has posts that have largely agreed that woman are most of the times emotional where they should be critical in analysis, Thesame arguments can be extended to the Christian believer who rather explain the incoherent biblical claims with their brains buried in their "faith" which often times condemns you from asking questions but just need you to believe even when such claims contradict itself.

God made hell fire not for Man but for the devil only to later change such plan to include man if he disobeyed him by exercising his gift of free will. Unless, this supreme Guy is not all powerful, all knowing, or can see into the future of his own plans and creations then the cock and bull story of blood atonement for sin, Man going to hell that originally was meant for Satan all fabrications and alien concepts that were borrowed from early pagan religions that existed before Christianity, a religion that Christians so condemned to the point of killing them off in the name of crusade, I bet Mohammed got his jihadist madness from the early Christian crusaders that forced it on non-Christians.
while christianity might be a relatively new "religion" you must understand that the principle of sacrifice upon which Jesus came to die is derived from what we know as Judaism which is probably one of the most ancient religions. therefore your claim that the concept of sacrifice is borrowed is completely erroneous. also note that i said the spiritual world is governed by principles one of which is sacrifice for atonement of sin. principles are principles regardless of who is practising them. those practising evil understand these principles just as much as we Christians do. hell was made for all evil things. God never changed His plan. the devil was originally the only evil being until man fell prey to his scheme. it was man who altered the plan.

so if God was all powerful and all knowing why would He allow this to happen? the answer is simple.... He made us and has the right to do as He desires. if you want to understand the motives behind a persons actions you will need to get close to that person and ask them yourself. you can do that with God.
Christianity EtcRe: Nigerian Men Dont Serve God Like Their Women: Why? by Kgdavid(m): 4:33am On Jul 07, 2013
a typical Nigerian/African woman reads her bible in very shallow way and prefers to run to "daddy" to learn about God. i dunno wat it is about these ladies that makes em so fanatically devoted to men of God that every word that comes out of their pastor's mouth is law.
Christianity EtcRe: Nigerian Men Dont Serve God Like Their Women: Why? by Kgdavid(m): 4:24am On Jul 07, 2013
rhymz: hahahahah. . . go and tell this cock and bull claptrap to a toddler. Let Me Follow your funny logic. God does not send men to hell yet he threatens to throw one in hell if one fails to abide by his rules right? But why give Man free will only to create a hell for any man that decides to exercise this "god given freewill", is it that he is confused about what he wants or he is playing some weird hide and sick joke with man?
And the sacrifice story is the greatest lie ever sold, a concept probably borrowed from pagan myths of sacrifice. I am yet to understand the logic in sacrificing an only son to yourself just so your creations can be "saved", save from what? from who? for what? Is he not suppose to be the all powerful and all knowing god that sees the future even before it is formed or is he powerless to the point he needed to make a sacrifice to another higher being? who exactly was Jesus sacrificed to? God or Satan? it has to be some higher being, a being higher than God himself or it is all together a long told lie that defiles logic. Until you are able to wrap your head around this and come up with a sensible answer and not this over use cliche of Jesus being sacrificed for man gist then we can discuss in length what realy we see as the truth.
you must understand that life itself is a mystery that cannot be comprehended by any standard of man. no matter how scientific your method is, there always remains a question that cannot be logically answered; how did it all begin? so don't expect everything you hear about God to make perfect sense. however you have gotten the issue of hell and free will wrong. may i elucidate?

God did not create hell for man. hell was created for Satan and for every unholy thing. you must understand that God did not create sin nor did He intend for sin to play a part in our lives. men go to hell because sin has crept int our lives and thus automatically mankind is on the path to hell because evry unholy thing is destined for hell and the lake of fire. secondly, the spiritual realm is governed by principles. one of which is that the soul that sinneth must die. the only way for you not to die when you sin is for someone elses blood to take your place. this person would have to have never sinned though...no ordinary human being has ever been without sin. the only begotten son of God was therefore sent in human form so He could pay the price with His blood. therefore Jesus was not a sacrifice to God the Father but was a sacrifice to atone for sin.
