its no surprise we lost to barca, the big surprise was at the begining of the season when ferguson refused to make any signings of note. he himself said the mistake he made after 99 was in not strenghtening wen everyone else did and thats exactly what is happening again, right now we need to make several additions to the squad as well as letting several players go. 1. Micheal Carrick-unable to step up on the big occasions 2. Patrice Evra-has been useless this season, completely useless in defence and not notable in attack 3. Ji sung Park-very useful for his energy but is getting old now and will not have the same stamina levels very soon. now is the time to cash in on his residual value. 4. Dimitar Berbatov-no point in keeping him around if you dont trust him in the big matches despite the fact he is our top goal scorer . Fabio-solid defender with good attacking ability. Rafael-not as solid as Fabio but a better attacker Smalling-top class C.B Evans-potentially very good complement to smalling, Vidic-world class and still in his prime Ferdinand-aging but world class and vastly experienced O'shea-solid utility man Gibson-exhibited great potential vs schalke, one for the future like fletcher was perhaps Fletcher-we miss his energy in the midfield Parker-perfect replacement for hargreaves Modric-perfect replacement for scholes Giggs-still got something to offer in less competitive games Scholes-same as giggs Anderson-tremendous potential, needs more time Nani- obvious attacking lynchpin A.Young-would finally bring some meaningful contribution to our left flank Valencia- useful back up for Nani Rooney- obvious attacking lynchpin Chicharito- perfect impact sub Owen-has shown signs that if greater faith is shown in him he will offer more Welbeck-promising youngster (dont know so much bout keepers so none is included here) |
ferguson takes al the blame, tactics were wrong, selection was wrong, substitutions were late and the greatest of all the errors was not brining in quality players even when every blind man and his blind dog could see that we needed new players. one definition of madness is doing the same things the same way and expecting a different result, is ferguson mad? |
the truth of the matter is fergie got it wrong, i always expected us to use the formation that we used but i did not expect to see carrick and giggs start together, that was the mistake i believe. the strategy last night was to apply pressure from the flanks and creativity from the middle but i believe that the pressure should have come from the middle and the creativity from the flanks as is our regular style. even an off form fletcher or anderson would have done a better job for us in terms of applying pressure centrally. carrick was really poor in terms of positionally protecting the defence plus he is so easy to dribble and a big time bottler when the going gets tough. |

odiaero:the one that will go and malfunction and bury its passengers alive, dont mind him. honestly this is a step in the right direction but it obviously is not enough, these guys need to be trained while on the job to enable them take up more profitable occupation and when they move on it would create room for others to be employed and trained as well. the danger is that the youths could aid the activities of miscreants as well as being vey susceptible to any attack from MEND |
190:LMAO |
somali guys make una sharap ![]() |
Lord knows that this issue bothers me a lot and i cincluded that it was because of cultural influences but the bible is all too clear on this, the scripture in mathews makes it very clear that title giving is wrong. @ teejay ur not saying we hould follow paul's implicit contradiction and ignore the direct instruction from Jesus are you?? |
yagbaboy1:i agree that generalization is wrong and its getting embarassing how many such threads are cropping up these days but i fail to see where the generaliaztion is in this posters statement?? there is absolutely nothing wrong with what this particular guy has said, |
poweredcom:which church does all those things you described?? |
its one thing to ask questions and quite another to attack someones personality. sure ill agree that it does seem wasteful, no argument on that but that does not warrant the level of abuse he is receiving here |
lol babe yu deserve an award for this thread, u have indeed outdone yourself and exceeded expectations ! well done o lol |
EarsWide:lol why speculate? its one thing to say they made a bad judgement call but its quite another to begin to castigate and attack the personality of the man and the validity of his calling dare2think:this is getting very embarrassing! wont you take pity on yourself?? did i call winners a business organization or an organization? so because a hand is part of a body does that make a hand a full body? a company is a type of organization just like a hand is a part of the body. did i say the two were mutually exclusive? i referred to winners chapel as an organization(world mission agency) and you jumped in saying they should pay dividends to members, are you ok? sit down there quoting wikipedia(not wikipidia?) |
aminalib:thats an obvious contradiction. wt yu say implies that people must love the person who treats em well, but however most people choose not to do so. the fact remains that people do not always make the rational choice because they have other mostly irrational criteria on which the choice is made. |
Enigma:i guess you missed out on where i said "pakistan for example"?? i dont know the itineraries of these men of God but i know both bishop Oyedepo and Pastor Adegboye have been to Gambia. |
^^ thats an overly idealogical way to look at it. practically there are three main races |
See this one o---I'm done here abeg. . I'm gonna say the same thing he said all over. Another time sweerie. ![]() @ Omo To Dun, you should check out this freaking thread (LOL): https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-670412.0.html @Tingles : I'm not an actor sha! So what role are you playing in the acting game? Ramsey Noah--the lover boy?
![]() |
Zikkyy:@ the bolde, thats unecessary repition sir lol on a serious note, are you saying the mode of transportation influences the validity of the message? |
lol you guys are an annoying bunch but i really dont wish to get embroiled in any long useless and silly debate so in summary, i used no fancy rhetoric to state what i belived to be the case but you however replied me obfuscating the issue with meaningless semantics and irrelevant rhetoric. i stated that the means by which the funds are gained is honest and you contered by asking how i know which i again explained after which you countered by saying the use was boder-line criminal. without adressing that iressponsible claim i would like to ask how the legality of use has any impact on the legality of the means? the question was on the legality of the means but because you could not fault that you brought up another issue. you conter my point that the spirituality of the subject is not your business by asking me if it was my business as well which is off the mark as i clearly made no remarks concerning the spirituality of either you, winners chapel members nor bishop Oyedepo. i am indeed workin out my own salvation with fear and trembling. you assert your right to dictate how winners chapel use their money regardless of the fact that you are not a member stating that it is a social matter but forgetting that winners chapel is not your government and do not owe you anything. the funniest part of wat you've been saying is how you extract one part of the definition of organization and try to pass it off as the whole in order to cover the rubbish you said. according to the dictionary you quoted, organization refers to the administrative personnel of a business. now you and i know very well that there were other definitions of organization in that dictionary but you chose this one because you thought it would cover your silly mistake. i ask; is that the sense in which i used the word organization? is that even the sense in which you used it? which business is winners chapel administrating? or does the administrative part of a business pay out profit to its members-the administrative staff? what you were referring to is a company and what i referred to is an organization. get an education, try covenant univeristy ![]() |
@ Omo To Dun---- Not everything is predestined my dear (like I said in my previous post). Anyways we have different views of the God we serve. That's yours, this is mine. And when I say he regrets---that's what the bible said you know. It's not like I made up the word. Remember Jesus read the bible while he was on earth, and that part of old-testament was already completed. Don't you think he should have corrected that flaw?( If it was one.) The fact that he regretted doesn't mean he's imperfect. It just happens that Satan is his Rival. So there's a constant battle to get him out of the way. He had a perfect plan for us until Professor Satan came to mess it up. Then change of plans began from there. You really think he would want to give Jesus his only sensible son away to die for us foolish ones just like that. That was planned too?. I mean after the mishap in the garden of Eden and Israelites's story, that was when the plan to bring Jesus came by, and prophecies started flowing in,, that Son of David is coming to save us. Anyways, I just like to justify my believe and Faith in God. I just don't follow the crowd and accept random info. Like I said he gave me the brain to think. I like to question my religious beliefs. I like your response to Mr.King David by the way. I was gonna respond to him but----.
come on dont hold out on me, that would be mean. hit me babe! |
It is folks like you who make believing in God very hard. Are we supposed to believe stories that have flaws and inconsistencies? I have read the Bible in and out and nowhere did it say that we cannot question what we don't understand. And how was Lucifer Michael's boss? Where in the Bible did Michael hesitate to question Lucifer? The white man came to Africa and imposed Christianity upon us and like the timid, naive, and always-willing-to-abandon-their-culture type of people that we were and still are, we instantly adopted Christianity without questions. Tell me, have you ever witnessed a miracle before? Didn't Jesus and the Apostles perform miracles? If the Apostles only had and preached faith---without miracles---would people have believed them? No, they supposedly performed acts that commemorated their beliefs. When the Apostles spoke in tongues, couldn't men understand what they were saying since, as stated in the Bible, men with different tongues were amazed that the disciples were speaking in each of their tongues? When people speak in their "sha ma ma ma ma la la baba abararaba boraka" tongues today, do you understand that bullshit? Abegi. Look at Nigeria: does it look like a country in which God resides? If planes landed in Nigeria today with the promise of migrating people to the USA, or UK, or other western countries, how many people would remain in Nigeria? How many countries in the world have more churches and pray more than we do? My brother, we have been hoodwinked, run amok, had, deceived, and taken as complete idiots. Use your head!
![]() 1.where did i say dont question what you dont understand? i said you're "treading dangerous waters"-by making accusations, is that your definition of questioning? 2. can you not read?or are you blind? i posted 2 scriptures to thats effect in previous posts 3. yes i have witnessed a miracle in my personal life. 4. there is no uniform standard for speaking in tongues, 1 corinthians 14:5 shows clearly that tongues are not normally meant to be understood but there in the case of pentecost God made them speak in tongues so that thos around would understand. read 1cor 14 before commenting again on the issue please. its funny how you read one chapter of the bible and begin to act like you have read cover to cover SMH. 5. wat exactly do you mean by this statement? are you saying you dont believ in christianity or not? you either believe completely or you dont believ at all so which is it? i can begin to explain why nigeria is the way it is today if you want to take it there but if you dont believe in christianity then wats the point? and if you do believe in christianity then please clarify what you mean by that. |
free123:you really thought this was a smart comment?? why ![]() ![]() |
Zikkyy:how do you propose God's word should travel from Nigeria to pakistan from example? by boat?? |
dare2think:lol, im not unhappy at all, wat gave yu that impression? your the one who comes across as extremely unhappy dare2think:if you would have merely paid a little more attention instead of being in a rush to sound smart you would have realized im not a winners chapel member so i dont know wat arrangements they have concerning those but surely those who are members are satisfied with the arrangement no?. so organizations distribute profit amongst their members lol Oh my God what am i reading here? look up the meanings of organization and company pls, for your own good.dare2think:where did i decide wat you should decide to decide? merely pointed out that you are not in any position to decide for otheers. (gotta give u an A for your efforts to sound smart while evading the fact that you are really commenting on an issue without having any basis for such) dare2think:obviously churches make their money through offerings and tithes, these are honest means(legally) or are you adding a new accusation of criminal activity? ![]() dare2think:here is indeed the bit where your lack of understanding is most exposed. work out your salvation with fear and tremblng has nothing to do with being afraid of a pastor, it simply means God does not care wat you think about any pastor, all he cares about is what you do with your life, so if you're gonna spend your time scrutinizing the activities of another man, you're wasting your time. your question should be am i right with God? not is bishop David Oyedepo right with God? |
oh dear! first and foremost understand that the money was given freely by people who know exactly wat it is being used for and do not mind. wat r all your problems? if anyone in winners chapel feels their money is being misappropriated then who is stopping them from leaving? but still they stay which means they are satisfied, why must you begin to speculate about another mans problems wen he has not told you he has a problem? why do people seem to think that pastors are confined to a certain level of comfort above which they would be sinning? i really dont know much about winners chapel but there are some things that should be very obvious. to put it simply 1. the money was gained through honest means 2. those assets belong to the organization not the man 4. who are you to decide how they use money you never contributed to? 3. work out your own salvation with fear and trembling i.e mind your business |
age old cliche but once again people are failing to differentiate between love and lust. Love is a choice most def! O.P thou art wise |
