i think it has now become fashionable to criticize kanu and Yakubu particularly kanu regardless of their

40% unemployment is what makes them dirt poor? then what is nigeria? what is Liberia(with unemployment rate of 85%)?but dont people still eat there? if 40% of Gazans dont have jobs then perhaps they should have the good sense to take their government to task. or are you saying that because israel does not allow iranian missiles into gaza that is why 40% of them dont have jobs? thos 40 % probably being hamas boys anyway

finally, when obesity in your mind is the sign of wealth, thenthe american natives, with the mexicans and the poor people in southern states must be better than the people in movie businesses and the manhattan residents, who are not obese! shame on your way of thinking. the claim is not that gazans dont have money but that they don't have food. the question is if the people of gaza are being starved to death by the "nazi" israeli blockade, then where is the food coming from? assuming that the palestinians are indeed being denied food by israel(which is not the case) then we would assume that they produce their own food.here's where you get a little lesson in economics. since gaza is a closed economy(one which does not engage in international trade) then the equilibrium point is determined by local supply and demand. as price increases the demand for the good will fall. subsequently as demand decreases price will fall.as price falls demand climbs back up again.at the same time, when price increases, supply increases but as stated before, when price increases, demand falls so price must fall and will continue to fall till it reaches a point where both demand and supply remain constant at a price that satisfies both. the bottom line is that the people of Gaza can afford to buy food or else those food sellers would be out of business. obesity might not be a sign of wealth but it definitely is conclusive proof that you are not starving.
