FamilyRe: Should Micheal Essien (of Chelsea FC) Support His Father More? by Kgdavid(m): 8:19pm On May 24, 2010
having read all three articles i am convinced that michael essien is in the wrong. my dad always would tell us that he should he judged as a father not based on what he did provide for us but on how much he could do that he did do. if you look at the story objectively, michael ought to do more for his father. i mean you say the man did not send him money bla bla bla, the fact of life is that there are poor people out there who simply dont have the money to do nice things for their children. there are people who simply cannot afford to set their children off in life. this man did the little he could. he got his son into school and he set him off in his football career. the boy was not living on the streets, he was living a reasonable life, according to the first article, above african poverty standards(whatever that is). perhaps the man did wrong by biting more than he could chew by marrying too many wives but this is something common to Africa's poor. a total lack of foresight and planning. you will observe that it is the poorest people that have the most kids. michael may God help you to do right. even if he does not consider it to be doing right by his father, let him consider it to be charity, he can send better than 25-50 pounds to his dad.

Oh my goodness,

We said MARRIED WOMEN, not MARRIED GIRLS,
why is there an issue with a married woman going to the club? I mean married men go to beer parlors ALL THE TIME, WTF IS DIFFERENT WITH MARRIED WOMEN? You mysognistic mofos need to grow up and YOU, Kdavid GOT THE NERVES TO TELL ME TO GROW UP because you don't agree with my OPINIONS?

I don't kiss anus therefore don't expect that of me, I speak my mind and if you don't like it then you entitled, but don't tell someone how and the way they should express their opinions, this isn't CUBA,
on the first bolded point i beg to differ. wink on the second im sure you can tell the difference between a beer parlour and a night club? undecided on the third bolded point, now this is my favorite, im sure you can also spot the contradiction in that paragraph cant you? the part where you tell the "misognystic mofos" to grow up and then you say no one should tell another to grow up just because they have ideological differences? oh and this last bit is exactly the reason you appear so childish to me, not because yo disagree with me but because you basically took what i said out of context and then replied in a very pointlessly confrontational way. but in case you still dont get it(which is a strong possibility here) here is the text of our correspondence.

Milito has not impressed for the national team so far. His greatness in club football does not mean he will conquer the World Cup.
for that matter can anyone name one argentinian big name that has been effective for their country in recent times? tevez?, messi?, aguero?, milito? even veron sef? no, the implication is that they have a rubbish coach

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Champions League Final: Bayern Munich Vs. Inter (0 - 2) Live by Kgdavid(m): 12:17am On May 23, 2010
bayern lost this match because of one man and his name is not milito, im not sure what his name is but their number five was extremely poor today and was at fault to a large extent for both goals. for the first goal, demichelis went for the ball and missed it leaving a space for milito to move into while sneijder was striding forward with the ball. milito moved into the space which the other defender should have immediately covered. instead he focused on sneijder who was not really in a dangerous position and who would have eventually been covered by the right back lahm. for the second goal he got skinned way too easily by milito and it speaks volumes that miltio had only two shots in the whole game. had he been properly marshalled perhaps the outcome might have been different. great game though.

NL is always good for a laugh. i believe sigmund freud would have had a field day examining the minds of most nigerians at least those on NL. starting with the poster, what kind of question is this? i assume that you are of the opinion that it is only nigerian women whose shape gets altered by repeated childbirth and that this is unnatural? if this assumption is correct then i can safely further assume that you have not finished primary school education.

They bosom-feed their children unlike the women from the western world who use milk and fluids.
Btw, whats the basis of your comment?
I guess you saw your mom's milk industry and concluded.
hehehehe the milk industry is in recession right now apparently

the way i see it, we are not going to get any other striker. it is obvious that berbatov will not be sold unless a good offer comes in and thats unlikely. as of now united have rooney, berbatov, hernandez, diouf, macheda and owen all looking to make impact next season and i dont see any of hem getting sold. the one transfer that i think we should expect more than others is joe cole. i thin SAF has already proven that he is an african in disguise(loves free things) and already has stated an interest in joe cole. if he could take owen on a free i see no reason why he wont do the same with cole. to me it is pretty clear that any signing made now will be a midfield player and if any one is gonna get sold its gonna be mr carrick.

@ ebonyeyes there is no need to tint the discussion with sexism issues. looking at the issue from a purely objective stand point. i dont think a married man or woman should be found at a club. individually i think it is definitely wrong, if they go together it is morally okay but not really advisable. i would never advocate for a man to go clubbing after marriage, its a recipe for trouble.

i have been really touched to see this and while scammers do abound in nigeria, so does poverty and a story as strange as his is an everyday occurrence in our country. i only hope that the poster will take advantage of the deliverance God has sent him. helping people out in this way is not sustainable though, i mean if everyone came here begging for help would you be able to help each time? perhaps the guy should be made to pay back the money when he can. i suppose it wouldnt be too outlandish an idea to set up a fund specially for this sort of thing? would be very complicated to maintain but it is doable if you guys are really interested. what benefit are great riches when another lives in greater squalor? this is a chance to do something worthwhile and i am greatly inspired to see that the beautiful ones have indeed been born.
RomanceRe: Should Married Women Go Clubbing? by Kgdavid(m): 3:28pm On May 21, 2010
i guess you guys dont get it the way i see it. gettin maried is more than just some romantic event everybody expects to experience. with marriage comes great benefits but it is also the ultimate life changing sacrifice.you sacrifice your freedom, desires, time and resources for those of another. you basically lose your identity . a husband is not a whole person on his own and neither is a wife but they are only truly whole as a couple. that is what marriage means to me. marriage is not too be rushed into if you are not ready to leave certain things behind. i cannot imagine me going to play with toys at this age but that is what some people are doing when at the age of 40 you see men in a club with 16 year olds all around them. ultimately one has to draw the line somewhere and that is when one gets married.

And this is the best analogy you could come up with? Try harder buuuh tongue
hmm his analogy is rather off but it does not invalidate the point i suspect he is trying to make. as soon as a lady enters a club the enters the sight scope of every hunter in the jungle. she becomes an antelope surrounded by a pack of hungry lions. now unless ur tellin me that this antelope can outrun all them lions then i would not advise a lady who does not want contact with men to visit a club.
