berem: Senator Ike Ekweremadu and other Igbos who supported the immediate sack of Stella Oduah are Efulefus since they are against their Igbo sister....your objectivity continues to amaze me..you my dear- are a very rare gem on this forum... I am very proud of you and how you manage these kamikaze opinionists....I will remember you whenever their comments starts to poison my mind...you will be my elixir of sanity in this deathly hollow nairaland is becoming |
Sincere 9gerian: Nonsense! You'r comparing legacies of someone who is just 3 years in office with one that completed 8 years? You'r confused....they don come.... |
...for people defending "faiths" they know next to nothing about....please read about the following Papal bulls "Dum Diversas" and "Romanus Pontifex" (it takes only 2 mins of google time) you will understand that these "faiths" were born out of nothing but convenience and have since been the bane of humanity. Your mind is a valuable thing...claim it back!! ..refuse to be sold a heritage steeped in so much shame.. |
Gbawe: Absolutely correct. As usual some will never confront their own intolerance and prejudice before they come here to make a fool of themselves. Look at the fascinating real life story below about Onaje and Folashade Woodbine and their devotion to learning Ifa spirituality and divination they have now developed as an app to assist those interested in Ifa divination.excellent story sir!!!....ye! i have a goodly heritage.... |
pazienza: Onye nka esikwa ebee? Ayachakwa ndi kwu oto, ayakwa ndi makpu amakpu. *grins*...thank you very much....everyday people like you reaffirm the preconceptions I have regarding certain subjects...carry on, carry on...don't stop...march on to and over the precipice- therein lies the end you have chosen for yourself and yours..therein lies the new begining we have been hoping for... |
pazienza: What source are you looking for? Those are Ironsi appointments as they were, provide an alternative figure to debunk my claims, not everybody is good with copy and paste...olodo jati jati...lol |
Katsumoto: Nice logic but why did Nwafor Orizu not swear in Dipcharima who was the individual selected by NPC, the party that lost the prime minister? Why did Orizu prefer to hand over to Ironsi? We deduce that because Ironsi was Igbo and to ensure that the objective of the failed coup was accomplished. Why should the death of two ministers (Balewa and Okotie Eboh) result in the death of democracy? Are Prime ministers not replaced regularly? Did Jonathan not sack about 9 ministers the other day? Did Nigeria collapse?..ah!!! thank you sir!!..thank you!! |
...Lobatan.....Please let Oando be.... |
.....these people will never learn thier place....they are inconsequential.....they have and will always be... |
...ok since i am aready here.. may i have just 3 big stout ONLY!!...as a clergy i must not drink too much... |
....ha! how did i get here??...na Sodom and Gomorah be this ooo... |
gokelicious: Point 1. Tinubu and ibori are not from the same tribe, so that has been addressed. Point 2. Only you and your kind are linking tinubu to the crime bcoz if read the article you would have noticed that the prosecuting lawyer did not link tinubu to it. Point 3. There is something called plc and that is what oando is. Point 4. Ibori might have bought the shares through a proxy. Please, don't blame tinubu for everything that goes wrong in Nigeria...why do you bother educating people that have no capacity for it....HSBC was caught pants down laudering mexican cartel money and nothing came of it but a review of their process and barely a slap on the wrist....my point?...companies are not your enforcement agencies ... |
berem: .....and yet a 450grammes of Ovaltine, Milo and Bournvita goes for N650 to N700? What an achievement!! >...I took you for a tea person... ![]() |
Gbawe: Check the link. It is the Independent UK. A reputable news source. They have no reason to lie and they normally establish a sensible level of truthful accuracy about a story before they go to print. You guys may not accept it, but life does not revolve around Nigeria. The article is not even about Nigeria. It is about a UK businessman who happens to mention, pertinent to his business and success which is the focus of the Independent regortage, that he has a lucrative order from the Nigerian Government....i could not respond to them without insulting them so i kept quiet...thank you for doing it in a very civil manner ...i could never have have managed that.. |
igboezue: where this one jump comot from,no be 1985 paper ur papa dey read today?....why am i not surprised....crass bantu twatt!!.. |
What does that even mean? ![]() |

..and if you ask them they will say it's business... |
...the sifting process has begun....the chaff from the grain...good riddance!!! |
...around half a billion naira there... gone!!!...who is footing this bill...taxpayers?.... |
berem: Of course it is, but how many residents will the LG sue? I can tell you that almost all festac house owners do not pay tenement charges to Amuwo Odofin. it's just a wasted effort. On the contrary my dear!...laws are just words on a piece of paper till they are enforced. I believe that is what the state is on about at the moment. Order is the watch word here... |
berem: Festac Town house owners believe they don't owe the LG any charges so you can't force them to pay. The most annoying part is issuing threats to the residents in the letters by suing them to court if they refuse to pay. All na wash! And rightly so!...the courts will decide...is that not how it should be in a sane society? |
berem: I should be asking you if you didn't read my comment well. Am talking of tenement rate which festac residents have refused to pay. tenement rent is different from trade permit. I repeat, those who live in festac houses do not pay tenement fees to Amuwo LG ,but shop owners, schools, markets hotels etc pay taxes or trade permit to Amuwo LG.Semantics! smh .....and you are certain these same people who would not submit to the law and pay tenement charges will pay taxes?. Pls |
berem: How many roads have the local government rehabilitated? The taxes collected from shops, markets, schools, hotels etc in festac town is enough to rehabilitate the roads in festac town. If you think festac residents will pay tenement rates to Amuwo Odofin LG, you are wasting your time. What kind of person are you?...are you not the one that claimed on the first page that the residents refused to pay tax?....why are you contradicting yourself? |
( owolabifunke14: Afam don't bring the issue of agenda here,I suffered before I crossed all these places and you can't tell me to mind my business when my elder sister is engaged to an abia manIt is well with your sister...hmmm ..smh |
Good riddance ....wait sef...not so fast..his tenure, which was fraught with allegations of misconduct, ought to be reviewed...all in due time sha |
