..this is getting too much on nairaland!!!...people come and propagate outright lies for no reason other than to shamelessly acquire political capital...the moderators and Seun should devise quality control measures..else nairaland will just go to the dogs.. how did 200m become 8.6 bn? there should be penalties for such intentional misdirection ..at the very least the thread should carry a marker that identifies it as false...and moved to a "hall of shame" kind of category created specially for it so as not to infringe on a lunatic's freedom of expression... ..Seun it is your duty to protect your readers-the electorate and "supposedly" the people with power to make a change from misinformation..every discourse should have an independent arbiter, a role that has been grossly neglected on this section and in this forum.. 1 Like |

Orlando Owoh: Maybe you've forgotten, I told months back not to join issues with me. I've not forgotten, if you have...your patience is bordering on legendary…well done!!...most of the time i just come here to palpate the Nigerian condition...basically i do more reading than writing...and i can't believe the things I read from these people...their brazen underhandedness is just amazing.. ..the issue of this "madam 255" just serves to show how fundamentally different we are culturally.. I am not a politician and i am not particularly versed in the political intricacies of Nigeria partly because i believe in simple solutions... ..the good book asks.. "can 2 walk together except they agree?"... when we cannot agree on something as simple as the time of day…or what is right or wrong; tell me what is the rational of staying together... I have virtually no friends from that side of the country...I gave up trying a very long time ago...I was forced to this conclusion an age when I was supposed to be innocent of these kinds of tribal divisions....why?...like i said before i like to keep things simple.. ..peace and blessings to you brother..heaven knows you will need it if you continue to engage these crentins!!! |

...I get a bit weary of discussions about political intrigues, suffice to say I find the trend on this thread quite tedious... ..what I want ,pardon my digression, is a government that will deliver a "sovereign national conference" in the true sense of the word.... ..is that in the APC agenda? if it is then carry go!...otherwise I fear same "crap different toilet" scenario.. I quite fancy the havoc Jonathan and his PDP are creating...no one has ever made the lines of division clearer in the history of this country.. maybe we should just leave him in power to enable the quick destruction of this "Akanpo" of a nation..it will be a classic case of using your enemy to achieve your aim...Jonathan’s /PDP's incompetence and tactlessness has been very helpful in disillusioning a lot of persons still believing in the status quo of one Nigeria.. forgive my pessimism..weather has been quite crappy today..  1 Like |
