Barcelona And Manchester City Look For Eto'o Solution Barcelona and Manchester City are lining up further talks to try and find a solution to the transfer of Samuel Eto'o from the Catalan outfit to the Premier League side, according to a report.
The Cameroonian striker is believed to have agreed to a €10 million-a-year contract at Eastlands, but has demanded compensation from Barca for forcing him to move.
While that obstacle is also under consideration, the matter of how much Manchester City will have to pay is still ensuring that the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement.
Barcelona have offered to lower their asking price of €30 million if City are willing to raise their initial bid to show willing - and talks can then continue, Sport state.
With only one season left on his current contact, Barcelona are trying to earn as much from Eto'o's transfer as possible, with the money then being used to buy David Villa from Valencia.
City have agreed to further negotiations after contact was made, and a move could be completed by the end of next week when Eto'o returns from the United States. I hope Gaurdiola wont regret selling this guy |

Report: Michael Owen Agrees Personal Terms With Manchester United Various reports have today confirmed that Michael Owen, Newcastle United and Real Madrid's former diminutive goal poacher, is currently undergoing a medical at Manchester United as personal terms have already been struck.
Sir Alex Ferguson has extended Owen an olive branch after it was widely expected that the former England international's career was on the decline due to a series of injury-ravaged spells.
According to a report in The Sun, Ferguson expressed an interest in Owen, who was the subject of a marketing brochure offered to multiple clubs, on Tuesday. The tabloid claims United are offering the 29-year-old £50,000 per week, which also includes bonuses for appearances and goals. Other reports, though, intimate that the deal will be no greater than a play-as-you-play contract. Prior to United's interest, Owen had only been linked with more modest clubs such as Hull City and Stoke City; both of whom had been competing in England's Championship (level two) the season before last.
One source "close to Owen" is reported to have told The Sun, "It's incredible that one day Michael was contemplating a move to Hull and now Manchester United have come in.
"This is just the boost he needed and now he is hoping that everything can be agreed." Manchester United are yet to release an official comment regarding the situation. |

Romance › What's The Difference Betw Real Love And Infatuation? by khanye(op): 4:53pm On Jul 01, 2009 |
I have been with at least 2 girls now who have confused infatuation with love. How can one tell the difference, because I seem to be really bad at it! I have had crushes on girls, but I know what love really is, and I have felt love several times before. I've never been infatuated with somebody I was dating.
So how do we spot the warning signs? How do we know if the person we are in love with is really and truly in love with us, and not just infatuated? I would like to be able to spot this earlier, so that I can get out without being hurt!
Note: I think I knew that my last ex was sort of infatuated with me, but I guess I chose to ignore the warning signs (I had seen them before in past relationships). I suppose my heart just wants to believe that "maybe this time it's actually real".
Someone told me Love is bittersweet! |

jalether: Admit it maicon is better than Alves, it was even confirmed in the confed cup
So you telling me Dunga is stupid for benching Alves for Maicon, Alves has no place
in that brazil starting 11 with a fully fit Maicon. go figure Alvez played the 2 WC qualifiers against Uruguay and Paraguay before the confederation cup Maicon is in the starting eleven because he has been in the team before Alves That does'nt mean he's better They both scored a goal each at the Confederation cup. Alves is a complete RB! He can play free kicks, he can shoot, he can dribble Why do you think he's better than Alves? |
