SeverusSnape:
Look, If the ruling party wants to rig the election, They would do it with or without curfew, Are elections not rigged in other states without imposition of curfews?... I know the North especially kaduna is a very volatile state and violence was imminent, It was election period, and a curfew had to be imposed. And whether you like it or not, Curfew will still be imposed this year to save lives and properties. That curfew will continue to be imposed until you guys change your violent and aggressive nature.
People of Kaduna state re wiser now, we re goin to ve violent free change of govt thanks to ramalan insightin speech.
Heard d curfew ll even last 4 two weeks bt if he likes he shld extend it to may 29 2015, we ll endure it.

Politics › Ramalan Yero Promise To Clamp Down On APC In Kaduna by kheart(op): 7:16am On Jan 18, 2015
The Governor of Kaduna state, Ramalan Yero, has threatened to call out his supporters to inflict damage on the opposition All Progressives Congress [APC] if his team is ever attacked while campaigning.
Speaking in Hausa language to his supporters at the opening of his campaign on Monday, Mr. Yero vowed swift “revenge” if ever attacked by any one “born of woman”.
“If you are born of a woman, please pelt us with stones, when we go out for campaigns. We dare you to destroy or burn our vehicles. Burn our House,” the governor said. “I swear by Allah, anyone who does any of these things, we will revenge.”
The remarks came as an escalation of an already tense electioneering ahead of February polls, seen in Kaduna State as a contest mainly between the governor and a former Minister, Nasir El Rufai, of the APC.
In the last two weeks, there have been incidents of political violence in Rivers, Plateau and Gombe States, where supporters of different political parties launched gun attacks on opponents, bombed party offices and torched campaign vehicles.
Mr. Yero spoke days after all presidential candidates for the February elections committed to non-violence before, during and after the polls.
Addressing his supporters, a furious Mr. Yero threatened to stop Mr. El-Rufai from entering Kaduna State henceforth.
PREMIUM TIMES obtained an audio recording of the governor apparently addressing his supporters and threatening violence against Mr. El-Rufai.
He said as governor, he has the power to stop the former minister from even leaving his house.
“If I say you should not come to Kaduna, I swear you cannot come. If I say you should not leave your house, I swear you cannot leave,” Mr. Yero said.
Despite being the home state of Vice President Namadi Sambo, Kaduna, the former capital of the northern part of Nigeria, also has a strong APC base, giving Mr. El Rufai wide support too.
As Minister of the FCT, Mr. El-Rufai’s administration demolished several homes and other structures the government said were illegal or built in contravention of Abuja’s master plan.
In his address, Mr. Yero said he also has the power to demolish the former Minister’s house if he wishes to.
“If I say they should demolish your House, I swear by Allah, they would demolish it immediately,” he said. “If you think we cannot do it, try us and see, continue with what you are doing, by God’s grace we will show you,” Mr. Yero said.
Mr. Yero also threatened to deal with APC supporters if they dare attack campaign trail of PDP.

Rareantagonist:
Brethren,
This is a desperate and urgent call from the throne of
Grace that the brethren in Christ are about to make the
greatest error of their lives by selling off their kingly
heritage for a mess of pottage called "change". Change
into what? Change into what happened to Egypt , Sudan, Lybia, Algeria and Turkey which were once flourishing
Christian countries but because the brethren there also
sold their souls on the premise of "it does not matter"
they became the last set of Christians in those countries!
Remember Turkey! It was the beautiful Christian country
called Constantinople! Today it is history! The foundation of the planned islamisation of Nigeria was
taken in 1989 in Abuja by OIC. Since then they have not
looked back! Our Government gave them a contribution
of 21 billion dollars then! Wonder then where the funding
of boko Haram is coming from? They have painfully now
infiltrated one of the biggest denominations in Nigeria and offered one of their best Pastors -a Professor,a Vice
presidential Slot! Now a larger community of that
denomination now promotes this "change"! They did it in
Constantinople ! Remember brethren, that the biggest
denomination of Christians in the North - the EYN has
been wiped off! All their churches burnt. You may say that it is the North it can't get here! They said the same
thing in Sudan, Libya, Algeria and Constantinople! How come the brethren have become so dulled in the Spirit
that they no longer are sensitive?
We may be the last Christians in Nigeria if this grave
error the brethren is about to commit is not averted! Our
Lord Jesus is greatly miffed by our irresponsibilit y as His Followers! How come we no longer hear Him! The
Great shepherd of the Sheep! How come that Christians
have forgotten that this country was made
ungovernable by these same people and Christians are
holding the wrong person responsible? How come? The
signs of the eventual Islamization of Nigeria are awash in the 1999 constitution where Islam, Sharia are mentioned
more than 100 times.! Not a single mention of Christ or
Christianity! You say it does not matter. Now, mark it
you cannot amend the constitution without a bitter
progrom!
Brethren, the night is here! We must contend for the faith and our heritage which was handed once and for all to
us by our maker!
Don't relent, sound this trumpet....We will not be the last
Christians in Nigeria! Amen.
I just hope an sss ll just come across dis ur post cos u re fanatic

U can vote for whomever u so wish to vote for.

I m kind of apoolitical cos I ve never cast a vote 4 any presidential candidate, am only enthuastic abt dis. Forth comin election cos Gej regime has been one of the corrupt n bloodshed ever under dis our nancen democracy.

I am voting GMB nt because I think he ll come n change everything bt because I want my vote and others alike to send a strong message to our leaders dat we can always crave n ve change of govt wen u fail our expectation.

I am nt goin to appraise Gej performance cos it is only in nigeria dat u chose a politician and u praise him 4 discharging duties n functions stipulated 4 his office.

As an ordinary poletariat gej failed woefully in term of security and we experience corruption boom under his watch. If he cnt tackle d above 4 6 years wat diff will 4 years make

Politics › Governor Of Bayelsa Bars Tanoids From Bayelsa by kheart(op): 7:24pm On Jan 16, 2015
Governor Seriake Dickson on Friday ordered the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN, to leave the state and cease campaigning for President Goodluck Jonathan’s re- election, in what appears a battle between Mr. Dickson and loyalists of the president’s wife who are in charge of the organization in Bayelsa State.

The decision appears a fallout of deteriorating relations between the governor and Mrs. Jonathan. Mrs. Jonathan had earlier resigned from her position as permanent secretary in the Bayelsa State civil service. Last week, Governor Dickson fired three loyalists of the first lady from his cabinet, accusing them of disloyalty.

The governor however denies any rift between him and the First Lady. In a press statement Friday signed by the governor’s spokesperson, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, Mr. Dickson directed the leadership of the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN, to immediately leave Bayelsa State.

The group had for several months staged massive rallies in support of Mr.
Jonathan long before the formal kick- off of electioneering in the country. At the time, the group claimed it was campaigning to convince Mr. Jonathan to seek re-election.

But in a fresh twist in relations between the governor and the wife of the president, whose loyalists are said to be in control of TAN in the state, Mr. Dickson accused the group of promoting subversive activities and inciting crisis and divisions within the PDP in the State. Mr. Dickson, who gave the warning at a meeting with the Peoples Democratic Party’s flag bearers for February general elections at the party’s secretariat in Yenagoa, said he is responsible for directing campaigns for Mr. Jonathan in the state. He described the PDP in the state as the only recognized political platform and structure saddled with the responsibility of leading the president’s campaign in the state with him as party leader.

Mr. Dickson said the activities of TAN have outlived their usefulness.
