You will have to Choose Either Data Science or Software Developer.

I don't advice you to start learn both at the same time, because thier scopes are different.

If you want to go for DATA Science(DS), I will advice you to first learn , Data Analysis(DA). Is somewhat a foundation to DS. Although alot of guys have done DS Straight. You are new to IT so I suggest you start with the foundation.

In DA you will need to learn Basics of Python Programming, not for coding purpose, but you need in the analysis of your data.

Another Basic skill you will need for DA is SQL.

The above skills will be needed in DS as well




If you decide to go with Software Developer you will need to Learn Skills in Java, JavaScript, Python ( Advance), C#, C++, Dart( Flutter) etc.

There are alot of these languages, so you make your choice



** To start getting paid as a software Developer you will need at least 1 year training, including building your portfolio to attract good paying jobs


** To get a job as an Entry Data Analyst , you will need at least 6 months including building you portfolio.

I've had my experience with guys still struggling and it always doesn't end well at all.
Met this guy about a month ago and truth be told, i really took my time observing him. He lied about his job description and accomodation at first but i later got to find out and i told him i will grow with him provided i see that he also makes effort. After about a month n half, i accepted to date him.
Ever since then, he changed his manner of addressing me as tho he's now a lord over me.
This is a guy I've never made a demand from nor accept anything from him when he makes an attempt cos i know he needs it more.
I got a shocker when i called to tell him i was sick n i needed him at that time n he responded " I can't kill myself" im also busy here and refused to apologise for saying such until i had to call him by myself to tell him the statement was bad. He apologized n i forgave him only for him to start complaining that stopped using endearing words n i told him i only forgave him but i needed time to heal since he didn't make attempt to put things back to order like a man should and the next thing he blocked me.
So much for trying to grow with a guy.

You see this unilorin lecturers especially the female ones eh. They can be wicked and devoid of any empathy whatsoever, one nearly made me kill myself during final year exam earlier this year.


Storyline was; I’ve misplaced my ID card but did complained and I was given a temporary one. The morning to the exam I made sure I had all my necessary mode of identity intact, little did I know that the temporary ID has felled of. My colleagues were granted access to the exam hall while I stood at the entrance, shaking, weeping profusely and begging this woman to atleast correspond the attendance with her to my course form(we do have this file that has our picture,name & matric number on it where we normally signed attendance on)

“This will be your costly mistake” was all this devil-incarnate in HIJAB had to say.

Anyone familiar with unilorin environs will know it’s about 3km from campus to school gate. I live off campus so that’s another 4-5km to ganmo where I reside.

With God I made it outside school gate in about 20 something minute, met MUSA ( an aboki bikeman) at that same school gate who manages to know a shortcut myself wasn’t even aware of. On our way, speeding at about 70kmph on a dusty road, one tipper truck from nowhere lost control, almost crush us but miraculously, I don’t know how musa maneuver everything cause we found ourselves in a ditch. No time to check on any wounds, we dragged the bike back to the street and vroom we surge on.

Long story cut short, I made it back to school 20minute before submission time. The senior supervisor saw my plight, sympathetically told me I should take my time but for real, what time is he referring to. I wrote my name, answer some few questions I haven’t forgotten then submitted.

PS: I still made my intended 2:1 after everything and to date, I pray for MUSA whenever I had the chance. I see God in him.

Now, I’m not justifying anyone’s action whatsoever. The boy certainly did wrong and should be punished accordingly. The woman likewise should be investigated (the emotional stress she put that poor boy thru to unleash the monster in him)

My mum . I was the one with her when she breathed her last in the midnight and I had to stay with her because it was too late for any other family to journey down to us.

And I wasn't scared which was quite surprising for someone like me that grew up scared of shadows and imaginary ghosts up till my adulthood.

When i was younger i wouldn't go in to sleep and would rather doze sitting up till everyone was done gisting on the verandah late in the night and when I was older I wouldn't sleep with the lights off.

What always amazed me about that night was that she was still warm when I suddenly woke up from a sudden waft of cold but she had already passed on. But by day she was already cold, stiff and heavy.

I even had to quickly cut and sew the white clothes she was buried in myself, help wash her and clothe her for the jannazah. I kept wondering if that was the same person i knew all my life lieing so cold and immobile. Till today I can't stand the smell of lux soap because she was bathed with it and a sick sweetly smell permeated the air during and after. I wasn't even if the smell was from the lux, from the dead body or just a mixture of the two.
