One of the earliest Surahs of the koran which was ever revealed is Surah Al Qalam or Chapter 68 of the koran.

It was revealed at a time when muhammad's people believed that he was suffering from insanity.

The very first verse of Surah Al Qalam is as follows:

Qur'an 68:1

"Nun. By the Pen and what they write."

This meaning of this verse was not understood by muslims until muhammad prayed to allah for the spirit of koranic interpretation to be given to his cousin Ibn Abass. This incident of divine anointing for Ibn Abass was mentioned in Sunan Ibn Majah:

166. Narrated Ibn Abbas:

"The Messenger of Allah embraced me and said, 'O Allah, teach him wisdom and the interpretation of
the Book (i.e., the Qur'an)

Classed sahih by al-Albani and al-Arna'ut

So as we can see from the forgoing, both allah and muhammad gave Ibn Abbass a special anointing for interpretation of the koran and its verses. So how did Ibn Abbass interpret Surah 68:1 of the koran?

The answer can be found below:

3840. Narrated Ibn Abbas:

"The first thing that Allah created was the Pen. He said to it, 'Write.' It said, 'What shall I write?' He said, 'The divine decree.' And it wrote all that shall be from that day until the onset of the Hour. And His throne was upon the water. The water vapor rose and the heavens split off from it. He then created the whale (Nun) and spread the earth over it. The earth is on the back of the whale, and when the whale stirred, the earth shook. It was steadied by the mountains, for indeed, the mountains prevail over the earth

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
تفسير

Classed sahih by al-Hakim and confirmed by al-Dhahabi

So according to muhammad and allah's chosen interpreter of the koran, the earth that we live upon is lying on the back of a giant whale!

You don't know Lagos and where this VI is. He can't even get a decent apartment with 3 months of the salary (600k), maybe one room in the island for 700k that's turns to swimming pool during the raining season or he goes to the mainland and rent for at least 300-400k. Transmuting 3rd mainland bridge with terrible traffic everyday, wakeup 4am and get back home 10pm only to repeat the same thing the next day. Not to talk of food, he dare not buy food in VI, one plate may go for 2-5k. How much remain for the salary? When he could just have peace of mind in Ibadan, 1 month salary is enough for a decent accomodation with less cost of living.
