Saw this on bbm. Veeery true. Especially in hostels! |
Dem interstate buses nko? I think they're at Jibowu and near the market at Tejuoso. That's assuming you're in Lag oh. |
It is SIMPLE COURTESY! If your friend sees your little sister, he should say hello to her as well! Since it's your mother he saw, then he should greet her appropriately. Any friend that just rudely walks past my mother should expect to hear my opinion on his/her manners and it won't be pretty. |
Olarewajub:Yep. I ordered four items - two dresses and two skirts. I received the skirts nearly three weeks after I placed my order, till date, nothing on the dresses, which is about five weeks now. My major grouse was with one of the skirts that was supposedly 100% cotton online, and turned out to be polyester. |
Deshannel:Delivery was certainly NOT free. I ordered four items, they only brought two of them and I still paid 500 Naira for delivery. I live in Lagos, in case you're wondering. |
Ijecs:Talk about torture. Isn't Nettle warapa that itches so much it's practically a mild form of insanity? And women agreed to insert it into their own bodies? |
Prison Break. Jesus, my heart used to race just at the thought that I'd be seeing it in an hour sef. As a smallie in Secondary school, Passions. When Nepa used their bad belle to off light in the middle of an episode, I'd get to school extra early that day to ask my classmates. Paloma, in Uni. Someone please remind me of its actual name. We'd gather in one room and admire Barbara's hairstyle/outfit, scream in frustration at bloody Paloma and Diego. |
Well, I can testify to how long it takes Konga to deliver purchased items. No less than two weeks. Maybe because of the season though, that was my first purchase and will likely be my last. I've never bought anything from Jumia. |
I think it's time to google this "break the internet" story. . . *sigh* I'm really not that interested. Funny pictures though. |
CircleOfWilis: ![]() You wicked oooh! |
armadeo:I was pained oh. Cos I actually expected something along the lines of SALT. |
Lucy |
I did! But that yeye game was just unfair. I never won the big balloons, only the tiny ones. ![]() |
I would. It would be in the format of an informal cv. Name, age etc Educational background would be the guys I've dated and what I've learned from them to make me an excellent candidate for a girlfriend. Skills would mostly be what I bring to the table in terms of support, emotional/financial, domestic and of course shagging ability. This is so funny. I almost wish some guy would ask me for it. |
Chei! And I thought I was Internet savvy. |
Yoruba names full everywhere oh jare. And I know their meanings already. ![]() |
3cycle:I'd say there's bound to be a little friction at first, give it time. You'll ease into it soon, without even realizing it. |
I haaave! My corper neighbor made it for me when I was serving. I really loved it. She's from Jos, and apparently it's a fairly common soup there. She taught me how to make it then, but I just couldn't find the groundnut paste in the market I checked in Lagos. |
The way romance is defined in Nigeria is different oh. Going by my dating history; my most financially romantic guy was hausa But in true definition of romance, my Yoruba guy was best. |
frisby:I don't know how helpful this will be, but I'll type all the same. My dad once ran a pure water business about 10, 11 years ago and the requirements included a factory that stood alone, so he had to demarcate a portion of our compound and build the factory there. He erected a small bungalow of about three rooms, one for purification, packaging and storage, if I remember correctly. After that, he invited them to see the premises, after which he got his registration number. |
SexyFox:Very true. He'll do all the things a proper boyfriend should do, without any prompting. 8. He pays attention to your likes/dislikes - food, music etc. Even downloads songs he thinks you'll like and sends to you via WhatsApp. 9. Remembers stuff about your family, school/work. 10. Wants you around as often as possible. 11. Believe it or not, he isn't all about the sex. |
This is really, really helpful. Bookmarked! |
Chijokz, God bless you. Christianity has become a trend. I feel the way you do too. I grew up as an Anglican, but I've been attending an RCCG because it's closer to my house. I've attended for a few years, and recently the pastor started pressuring me to become a worker because it's a sure source of blessings etc. Guess what? I still attend the church, resist every effort to get me into any department, pray to my God and leave. I used to pay my tithes quite faithfully before now, until a friend said it would be put to better use helping people around me and I saw reason, which is what I now do, like you. My advice is, whatever you like about church, let that thing encourage you to attend from time to time at least. I'm a lazy Christian, and I need all the encouragement that I can get. At least in church, I get to pray and be reminded on what God approves of, and sticking to it. Unfortunately, in recent times, my church is leaning heavily towards the prosperity preaching, so I'm becoming reluctant to attend. |
No, your action isn't wrong. That attitude of so many Christians is very unfair and annoying. When I'm in my house, I should be able to relax, watch TV, sleep, do whatever I want without people bothering me. If they really felt the need to preach, would it have killed them to wait till 7am? I'm in this situation in my house too, there's a fire/brimstone church two houses away that keeps people up all night. |
I just thought about this, and realised that I don't remember how I knew of NL. |
manutdadex:Thank you jare. People happily brandish gionee phones, vaio laptops etc without caring what the names mean.
Chinese made customised phone Imagine if someone ask you 'what's the name of this your phone' and you are like, Ojiji.
|
Lol! What a kissass post. I'm voting Buhari, because I see him as being the lesser of two evils, has some good governance in his history, and isn't likely to become a puppet like GEJ. He isn't a messiah. |
jerrymania:Class of 2007. Do I qualify? Even if I don't, I'd like to say that I don't like this new front page change every minute. It's making people treat the FTC casually and I miss reading the funny comments by excited FTCers. |
100Cents:Just for the bolded, I'd marry you. I really, really hate when people call it goggle. |
Jonathan. I just feel it deserves a second mention. We plenty wey no wan hear am. |
