@poster. Let me reiterate what others have already mentioned. You have no right under any circumstances to flog any body's child talk-less of toddlers. Children are like sponges they soak in whatever they see and will ultimately display it. Your flogging those children is only making the situation worse because not only do they not understand what they were doing but you are also toying with their self confidence.

There are loads of business you can operate before you gain admission or go back to school like you have mentioned. Running a creche is NOT one of those businesses. This is a business that deals with the most delicate members of society and a lot of training and licensing is required. Obviously you do not possess either of these neither do you have the right temperament to run a creche. I will appeal that you close down your creche immediately and seek the required capacity before reopening it.

Do not let the comments of those supporting your actions deceive you. What you have done if found out and taken up can land you in jail if you are not aware. It is called child abuse.

Don't allow my matter kill you...How will a Normal human being make up this kind of story?
On the contrary, I am just trying to ensure you don't kill urself over other people's matter. Learn how to handle children first before opening a crèche so as not to land in jail one day.

I can't stand seeing a woman cry. It breaks me to pieces.
All my muscle, biceps, triceps, pectoralis and deltoid, all melt like butter when in the presence of a weeping woman.

Call it manipulation if you like but I'll do anything to make a lady stop crying. You can imagine how many battles I have lost due to this weakness.

But come at me with your mouth, rudeness, manliness and nagging, and I will flex those muscles and my mind for war.

telemapreye1:
Good evening nairalanders.
Pls I want to implore all of us especially parents to watch yourself or what you do in presence of your kids.I run a creche and i accept kids from 2m to 6yrs old.
The creche is a mixed creche(boys and girls)...Recently i noticed something, one of the boys who is just 1year and 3month usually stare at the female children private part anytime they are both naked so I separated them until yesterday I caught him manipulating the other girl of 11 month, shock was an understatement,i flogged him and warned him never to again try it again.
Today i saw the other girl of 1yr mimicking her parent sex moves cheesy moaning saying things like(oooooo)i was shocked and ashamed,i flogged her and promise to tell her mum.
The big question is
Is it their fault?
To me it's isn't their fault,i blame parent who still allow their 1yr old kids sleep in the same room with them, they aren't dumb neither are they deaf, they see everything that happens in that bedroom.
If it's not their fault, why are you flogging them undecided Besides, how sane is it to flog a child of one year or one year plus?
The parents are abusing the kids at home and you are doing worse in school, how different are you from them?
Did you call the concerned parents to let them know what you observed or you think flogging the innocent kids is the solution?
Ya'll should be in jail right now #pissed

I read the article below and I thought it was an interesting one. What caught my interest most are the words of the professor. It kept me pondering deeply on my current beliefs and I am asking myself if he is indeed correct about his postulations.

A lot of us, including myself have always believed and I've heard it a lot from peeps on this forum that men and women are naturally created for specific roles e.g women are natural nurturers, men are natural providers/protectors etc But having read this article, I ask myself again, is it really true? Could it be that we think we are naturally good at some specific roles because culturally and historically, our minds have been programmed into believing that we should be better at some roles than the opposite sex and so we evolve in that direction? The words of this professor challenges this "myth" and I want to know if I am the only one questioning my current beliefs. Does this professor's words challenges the "norm" in any way? (Pls keep an open mind to this, don't respond with any mindset).

My question is - do you agree with the professor? Or is there any element of truth/fact in his assertion? That there isn't any limitation to what we are naturally good at if only we can disbelieve our current beliefs about gender roles?

Ivory Coast professor Honore Kahi, who was pictured carrying a student's baby on his back in class said being a mother should not stop women getting an education, BBC reports.

Prof. Kahi said he offered to take the baby because he was crying and preventing the mother from sitting in class. He said his students were surprised, began to laugh and then took pictures.

Some of those who shared the photos on social media showered him with praises, describing him as a hero. Mr Kahi, who teaches communications at Ivory Coast's Bouake University, said that women should not be discouraged by people's perceptions of what they should be able to do.
"What prevails here is... male chauvinism, he said. and then quoted an ancient philosopher in his interview with BBC Afrique. "It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare. It is because we do not dare that they are difficult.' In our environment we let ourselves be discouraged by others."
He said that when he took the baby and tied him on his back he stopped crying and fell asleep, adding that he learned how to do it by observing how women carry their children.
"In fact, men are able to do certain things, and usually it's the way society sees men that prevents them from doing these things."

I wish I could 'Love' this post. kiss I also agree with most of the original post except for the Otta part.

I have an uncle who went and got a place in Alagbole and worked in VI. He ended up spending 3 days at ours in Yaba and was always loitering around all the bars for 'traffic to die down' . He eventually let go of the place when he got married. Does not have to be Lekki but maybe places on the mainland where even if there is traffic you are still able to get home in good time.

grin grin grin grin grin at infidelity being expensive

As for the 1st birthday party did exactly the same for my two children. I still get called ijebu for it but na them know cheesy It was not even just the money but the whole stress for a child that will never remember undecided I think my 1st year birthday party pictures where I was crying and clinging to my mum for dear life cheesy kinda put me off the idea. Almost every shot I have ever seen I was crying. cheesy I heard my mum 'imported' even the party packs undecided E dey shark am but e no shark me reach am cos I hate organising parties. God knows how many fights we had planning my wedding from choosing the cheaper/smaller hall, to wanting less IV's , to wanting to have it all on the same day( she won all the fights embarassed) but I am now able to defy her a bit more . I think the new me would have stood up to her more if I was getting married now. cheesy Me sef no even know how the food at my wedding tasted.

Happy birthday in advance to your princess. kiss

Its such a funny feeling when they are no longer 'babies'. I still give my son ( 4) baby cuddles though he is now able to wiggle away from me cheesy He is really big on being 'a big boy cos he is going to big school'. cheesy

over ordinary iron tabs o!
Oya hug and make up. wink

If your PCV is low as in 28% and below, then you may need iron tabs. The thing is just cos your PCV is 35% today doesnt mean by next month it wont be 25%.
Iron tabs also cause headaches esp when your pcv is in normal range. It will only make your blood more concentrated and this will create pressure in your vessels. My SiL was actually pulled off her iron tabs when she kept having these headaches and she got better.
My husband always donates blood like twice a year cos his pcv is off the roof and give him headaches and joint pains too. After his blood donations, he testifies to feeling better.

Again I say it, always work with your Dr.

PoliticsRe: PENGASSAN Threatens To Shut Down Oil Sector In Seven Days by Kimoni: 10:36am On Jun 20, 2016
False sense of entitlement everywhere. How come any aggrieved persons these days think the only way their problem can be solved is by holding 200 million other Nigerians to ransom?

Thank God this regime is taking practical steps to move away from single product revenue. Oil is becoming more of a curse everyday. Several countries globally have developed themselves without an iota oil generated revenue.

Fashola for 8 years did not find a solution to third mainland bridge but it took Ambode months to think outside the box, imagine ordinary bus stop has been the problem, empty head like Fashola
Fashola exceeded Tinubu's performance and it is looking like Ambode will exceed Fashola's monumental record. It's all good. While others are bombing their homeland, the West is moving forward.

Wow! Frankly speaking, Ambode beats my expectations in terms of performance. I was expecting I governor that would be taking dictations from Tinubu, hence my refusal to support him during the 2015 electioneering.

Mind you, I didn't support Fashola in 2007 as well due to this same Tinubu's influence. Maybe Tinubu's influence is a good thing after all. I think it's high time I started liking Tinubu as he seems to have knack for supporting/selecting high performers.

Kudos to Ambode, best of luck.

Meanwhile, WEST side is still the BEST side and moving forward ahead of others. You may hate, I care less.
You can't beat Tinubu and his team when it comes to performance, and that's what matters most in governance. Other tribes might hate him, but the West know why they continue to accord him respect.
