I still don't understand why this woman's case has been adjudged to be a scam? Can't connect the dots.

Because she and her husbad have solicited for giveaways before? Or because she and her hubby tried to deny their relationship at the beginning of the thread? Which I would term a desperate measure for survival, not like it's good though

Haaaa Boss, you wanta kill me nii, the ones I have are okay for now.

You are right about the fact that level 1 alone is crazy.

We hope for the best. smiley
Bros wey wan flex, abeg flex easy oo

If you don't mind doing your own thing, have you thought of running a family office?

It's very underdeveloped in Naija yet the market is huge

Two types of market - 1) people who made their money legitimately and want it to transcend generations 2)moneybags who wanna convert their loot to legitimate businesses and want as much detachment from these businesses as possible

PWC and a few others are trying to bridge this gap.

This is my view of things from personal experience. You might just wanna check it out.

Good luck boss

Yes I do. I just saw the difference. I am after the CISI certification which leads to advising average joes grin. I have no real interest in any job that will require long hours to get ahead. My kids are getting to that age where I have to be a proper 'amebo' in their lives.

From what I have gathered so far, I will still earn a decent wage with the certification I am after, I dont have 4 years to dedicate to some 'paper' now lipsrsealed
grin grin grin grin grin naijababe wan kill me oooo

No be you say you like book yesterday ni? Or you didn't understand all my engrish I have been spoken since

Join everything I read for my ICAN exams together ie PE1, PE2, PE3, inshort ehhn, add ATS level plus everything I read in the university from year 1 to 4, it's not not equivalent to Level 1 CFA.

Emi mi fe bo, Naijababe.

Everyday we read about different marriage wahala on nairaland. Yet people are still getting married.

At this rate, people may soon stop getting married.

Just imagine, you have an OK life suddenly, you bring in someone to be creating issues for you to endure.

Some responses here, are not even helping matters.

I'm beginning to see that 21st century marriages are putting men in a disadvantaged position. I position to tolerate and not expect anything for themselves.

Look at some people saying, this man has to command the respect and not demand it. Haba!! in his own home? A home he built from scratch? brought in a woman and he's feeding and taking care of her?

I can't believe what this world is turning into.
Not in his own home, but their home. They built it together from the scratch and contribute jointly to the running of the home. Infact, a pre-requisite for marrying her is what she can bring to the table (this is a typical modern marriage).

So 21st century marriages are not putting men in a disadvantaged position. Instead, unlike our forefathers, they sold their birth right.

You need to get a refund from your Yoruba teacher.

If not for "modernity"

Awujale leads the Ijebus, other kings are baale while Akarigbo leads the Remo.

The summary of this sermon is Ijebu is different from Remo.
The dialect/accent different.
Don't make this statement in Remoland. This is why Akarigbo and Awujale no dey ever gree. This is why don't have our own state, we can't agree on the location of the capital - Ijebu Ode Vs Sagamu. Our loss, the Egbas' gain.

Ijebu is not different from Remo. We are one Ijebuland.
The Ijebu language is same but with various modifications according to cities.
Even within Remo, there are slight differences

Abomination... The gods don't lie...

I know because my mum is from that axis..

It is why the first class king of that region is the Akarigbo with the title Akarigbo of Remoland.

I think ode-remo's king has been upgraded too.

Towns under Remo

Iperu, Ipaara, Sagamu , Isaara, Ode, Sapaade, etc..

This is culture and history 101
And the gods keep lying tongue

He is not Akarigbo of Remoland, he is Akarigbo of Sagamu angry

He doesn't rule over Remoland...just like Awujale does not rule over Ijebuland

It was "Sokas lace" formed from the names of the two owners Sokale and Kassim.

Like other textile companies, they couldn't survive due to the crazy cost of doing"manufacturing business" in Nigeria.

Iperu people does not consider themselves as Ijebus but Remo. Just like a Fulani doesn't see himself as Hausa.

You don't even know your root... tongue tongue

Kimoni, you are mixing 'em up, only the narrative exams are certain types of the year. The CBT and essay exams have good availability through the year, worst case I will carry myself to England to 'em. Level 2-3 have about 80 hours recommended study time, I can do each in a fortnight, the hard grind seem to start from level 4.

I am not afraid of reading jare, Buahrinomics don dey affect oyel workers. I want to collect voluntary redundancy and waka into another industry where I can really swim money. Na only mouth dem get for 'oyel' industry. Those finance be proper money ritualists, I dont know who send me go engineering side sef angry
No vex, I realized the mix-up after I posted but I don't really know about CISI. You no go get time for NL when you start o sad

No be Buhari affect una oyel lol, na Putin vs Obama fight cause am and the end is not even in sight. God help us.

Voluntary redundancy is not for the faint hearted o though I know the money can be very tempting. Again, these exams are very expensive and funding them from pension won't be my first choice. Do you intend writing the exams after you leave or during your stay?

I really appreciate the useful inputs and comments made.
She has viewed the thread, but unfortunately she has reacted negatively to it.
She feels I said too much and also thinks I shouldn't have brought it here in the 1st place.
I don't see why I shouldn't share and possibly get other people's opinion/suggestions since we are not making headway on this issue.
It's unfortunate she feels bad about this, and unfortunate that some comments pushed me to say too much.
But at least no one really knows us.
Moving forward I'm going to try my best to give her more space.
Thanks all for your comments. I've been able to filter the ones I need and ignore where necessary.
God bless your marriage

Dyt!!!!!!

I no fit laugh o! U do realize that they closed the thread ,right? Hmmm, to start with I think there is a high chance that our person of concern might not be a.... Well, I do not have concrete evidence but my anonymous interactions with him via email gave credence to the thought o. Hmmm I think u should consider these facts...
1. His other handle has an history where he purported to have authored a book on how to get women....yet guy was practically crying in another handle that he couldn't find woman to marry.

2. In that other handle, he seem all confidence and on top of situations on matters of the heart...the new handle painted a melancholy dude who truly needed to be saved from singlehood.

3. In my convo with him, I got the feeling that he's hoping to meet a woman on the brink of insanity who is highly distressed by her state of single hood. You know how women like that could be vulnerable, right?Hmmm, babes my intuition was just singing warri song for me. You know say warri people no dey carry last!

By the way, I got tons of PMs that I couldn't even access. I for just give u wedding invite straight up wink
Don't know what you and Dyt are talking about but there's someone I know who fits perfectly into your description above. I sincerely don't know if it's the same guy but I can bet my last cent we're talking about the same person. Every word of description fits perfectly
