Dear foodie!!
Story of my life
Today is a day of experiment gone bad
I want to practicalize how to make donut/doughnut. I try my hands on pastries, do this in bits until I perfect it.
I deposited it in a cupcake pan because the dough was sticky and didn't rise.
Anyways my tester is enjoying it
What do I call this now?
It tastes like pako biscuit
He said it tasted like cake/bun/soft cookies.
Help!!!!!

Mariangeles:
That purging is a natural process.
If leafy vegetables are not part of your regular diet, it is likely to happen when you eat them. Especially fluted pumpkin and bitter leaves.
It is a detoxification process, which eventually stops when your system is cleansed enough and gets used to the vegetables.
Let the purging not stop you. It is good for you if your vegetables are thoroughly washed.

Soaking your vegetables in salt water for some few minutes before washing helps a lot too.

Thanks for your input. I so appreciate it
BlueRayDick:
Your story is not boring, it's actually funny ( especially the purging part cheesy)

I believe the issue might have to do with hygiene. It might just be flies perching on any of the ingredients u used or something.
Thanks I appreciate
Funny thing is despite purging we don't back off. As per hygiene I want to believe it is from where I purchase my ingredients. Will work on that
shilz:
you can try the bitterleaf again but this time check your seasoning and hygiene ,if possible get fresh bitter leaf boil or wash them yourself before use.bitter leaf does alot help to the tummy. For the egusi instead of ugwu leaf replace with uziza, bitterleaf or okazi.very little utazi leaf can be added too.dont forget to watch your seasoning.
Seasoning? Am team natural spice o. Even if I will use seasoning a cube
I use more of ogiri, Iru when cooking my soup
Thanks for the input

I don't think there's any special method apart from the one you already know.

Always preheat your sandwich toaster before use and don't use spread that contains water.

You can also get cooking spray.... Note: some Bread dont go well with sandwich toaster.

Will do that after the lockdown.

When I do, how best do use to avoid the sticky issues?
The machine ain't good again

Amorprincesa24:
Ingredients

Butter 250g (I used Simas)
Sugar 1cup
Rising flour 2Cups
Eggs 4
Milk 1/2 cup
Condensed milk (peak)
Vanilla extract (1 Teaspoon)
Banana flavour (1 Tablespoon)
Milk powdered flavour (1 Tablespoon)

Rum (1 Tablespoon)

If you have handmixer you can use it if not use turning garri stick.

In a bowl press in the butter and add sugar and start creaming with your handmixer until it's fluffy and looks kind of white.

Pre-heat oven 150 Celsius but my oven doesn't have those written timers so i just turned the knob to the lowest temperature.

Grease your pan with melted butter or unmelt which ever. Just ensure the pan is properly greased. I used an 8inch pan cos i don't have a 6 inches pan.

Then add your liquid flavour, condensed milk and rum to the creamed butter/sugar and turn clockwise.

In a separate bowl whisk the eggs until its quite foamy.

In a separate bowl sieve your flour, milk and power milk flavour

Then you add half of the foamy eggs to the butter and stir, then add the already sieved flour to the butter and fold in with your stick and you finally add in the remaining foamy eggs and fold in until smooth.

Then pour it into the already greased pan and put in the oven and leave to bake.

The cake should be ready in 45minutes.

Please manage it am not so good in writing recipes. Thank you

Cc: WetSmoke
Thanks for the recipe.
I appreciate
