Another white elephant project. The problem is not processing rice , it's with the planting and funding for farmers. Let's watch and see how this ends, I hope they get enough paddy to sustain the daily output capacity of this mill.

Already there is an agreement with kebbi state government on planting of rice,what this simply means is that enough rice will be brought for milling here in Lagos which will thereby reduce the price of rice.

And if am not mistaken there is CBN simple policy on bank loans for any farmer that wants to go into rice farming.

It is going to really boost the production of rice because already there is no rice mill in Nigeria that is up to that capacity of this one and already there is ban on importation of rice hence the hike in price of rice.

What many people don't know is that many of those mushroom parties are surrogates of the leading 2 parties in Nigeria (APC and PDP). It is for reasons like this that they keep those surrogates always contesting in elections and that is why we see parties scoring 1,500 votes, 750 votes etc and we start wondering. Three things may happen. 1) The current governor to appeal and win his case (Best option) 2) Another election is conducted with Lyon participating (Very unlikely) 3) One of the surrogates mentioned earlier activated, with APC actively campaigning (See Rivers elections) with federal might etc. So to me, the best option is for the current governor to get good lawyers and appeal this case to the last. It is risky for him to participate in a fresh election because A RULING PARTY HARDLY LOSES AN OFF SEASON ELECTION (by hook or by crook) !!!

Point of correction there wasn’t anything like federal might in Rivers election in 2019 that is if my own definition of federal is the same as yours.

It was Amaechi that tried to put pressure on wike which Oshiomole didn’t even support by coming out to say they are not going to support any candidate hence their disagreement.

Like we all know the Abe that should have supported him has already been compromised by Wike which is one of the reasons rivers APC has been unstable up till mow.
