HealthRe: Abia Closes Private Hospital Treating Coronavirus Patients by Kinematics:
GboyegaD:
It is well. It is one of the major challenges of the society. The PPP in some government hospital is making some patients life miserable as most utensils has to be bought from this Pharmacies in the PPP. Overall, we are a greedy lot as we appreciate money above value.
I'm not referring to PPP. I'm talking about PP meaning private practice. That's people that own private hospitals.
PoliticsRe: Some People Get N40k Palliative With No Lockdown by Kinematics: 8:09pm On Apr 21, 2020
shadeyinka:
So, why share palliatives to states with no major share of Corona virus cases. Has Lagos not been handling the cases before the federal government came in.

And the 10billion is NOT for palliatives, was it?
Coronavirus patients themselves get palliative treatments, because theres no medical cure for coronavirus as at today.

I repeat the money sharing is a scam. Bubu is only sharing money to his people in the north and his apc goons in the south.
HealthRe: Abia Closes Private Hospital Treating Coronavirus Patients by Kinematics: 8:05pm On Apr 21, 2020
GboyegaD:
I think the double standard is the problem. If Kyari was managed by a Private practice, it is unfair to close down another private facility in the country indefinitely. What the government should do is to close it for the time being when fumigation is done.
Well I get your point. Nigeria itself is a joke of a country.
But some doctors feel like they are superman. They know it all, then add the greed to make money especially in PP setting.

omonnakoda:
Maybe but Lagos state budget is 1200 billion

I do not think 10 billion naira is as big a deal to Lagos state as it would be to Ekiti

Crucially Lagos state has the personnel who have significant learnings from the Ebola outbreak a few years ago in terms of contact tracing, quarantine etc.-

I don't know what you mean by WHO/Chinese help?
Then they shouldn't have applied for it.
Which personnel? In this same health system we are all in? Please tell me something new.

Your last question shows you are not in the know of what's going on in the fight against COVID-19.
HealthRe: Abia Closes Private Hospital Treating Coronavirus Patients by Kinematics: 7:57pm On Apr 21, 2020
GboyegaD:
Why would a private hospital risk the life of their staff and loved ones? Thought the NMA decision was that no private hospital should treat COVID19 cases.
Greed and I too know amongst our colleagues.

No sir!
The money wasn't shared equally state by state.
Lagos, Borno and Delta state even got zero allocation.

https://m.guardian.ng/news/fg-excludes-lagos-borno-delta-from-cash-transfer-as-north-west-gets-biggest-share/
We are still saying same thing. Lagos took 10 billion upfront. Anyways by now you should know that the money sharing to the poor is a scam.

So I would come to Nairaland to say what YOU think ?
If I don't say what I think am I supposed to say what your family thinks?

If you don't have anything sensible to add must you quote me?
Any state with 10 billion naira palliative from FG and help from WHO/China will do well.

I think we need to give kudos to Lagos state.

I think if coronavirus had first emerged in any other state the story by now would be very different
It's what you think, so let's leave it at that.

like they are negative now,I really want to know ooo
if yes.whats the cure?
Most viruses are self-limiting. Coronavirus is one of them. Your immune system does most of the job and they clear from your system with time or remain in your system but dormant and cause no harm.

This will help you going forward

This is bad news. Coronavirus please it's enough, we have seen what you are capable of.

If this continues I see more people going into skull harvesting and mining from the waste side as well as money ritial and billionaire kidnapping from the yeast side.

When science has failed it's time to look up to a supernatural being aka GOD.
