TravelRe: Should I Invest In Nigeria Or Wait Until I Get A Permanent Stay In Abroad? by King44(m): 2:03pm On Dec 14, 2020
Basalt:
Goodmorning Ladies and Gentlemen.
I am Basalt by name and I came to Germany last year(2019) October for my MSc studies with a little amount of Money and a partially borrowed block account from my inlaw (his money and my money).
On arrival in Germany, I took only a few courses and got a job outside my city and also got a mini-job. I did all my monthly expenses from my Mini job and used my main job to completely pay back my debt within a few months of arrival.

Now, that's not the discussion at hand.
I need advice especially from people who have lived abroad or have many years of experience in life.
My visa still counts till 2022 and I can even extend it if I don't finish my studies by then.
According to German policy, once you graduate from the University, you will be given 18 months to get a professional job or return back to your country.
Returning back to Nigeria is totally out of my plan at least for now because I came from a very poor family without any job connection and I am really enjoying Europe.
I plan to buy land or start building a house (I saved millions of naira and will even save more as time goes) but my friend who is also a student here discouraged me against that saying that my root is not yet fixed abroad that I should wait and continue investing in myself and undergoing professional training until I get permanent residency before investing. That I should always keep saving because it is not certain that I will get a professional job after graduation since my course is not in Information Technology which is currently booming in Germany. That even if I don't get a job, I can use the money to migrate to Canada or any other country of my choice.
He asked What if you invest the money now and don't get a job after graduation, what will you do after the 18 months of post graduation visa since you don't have any backup from home who will help you out financially.

What do you guys think. I need opinions
Returning back to Nigeria is totally out of my plan if you understand the business environment in Europe so well, and you are doing fine there, why are you contemplating the idea of returning to invest?

You heart lies there if you should come back to where you don't really have in mind and you don't enjoy that would be bad.

A lot of people who I have heard of, who come back to start business or invest and they are doing well are people who have Nig in mind and are ready to defile all odds but your case is different.

Invest there do exploit then expand your investment to your country once you have learned about the functionality of your business down here.

How does she get what more she deserves if she choose to be anonymous? do you realize she could have come out as kemi alabi without unnecessary drama.

She said she wanted to be anonymous as kemi alabi, BBC granted this, if she changed her mind would be very easy, kemi alabi was mentioned a lot , nobody knew who she was till this drama, Oge did a thread and never even held kiki responsible for anything
That was a mistake on her side... But come to think of it, it would take confidence to defeat fears in her case so she is guilty but not blamed

This is a problem caused by her that has remedy, the needful should be done.
HealthRe: Would You Permit Your Partner To Be A Surrogate? by King44(m): 1:49pm On Dec 14, 2020
No way.... For two reasons only.

1. To avoid future wahala.

2. I can't stand it, there are levels to what I can accept.

But surrogacy is a good advice for those who have womb issues and vhf whala

sanpipita:
Kiki equally risked her life, even since the documentary was released she has received threats and hate more than anything else, what oge did is highly unnecessary might kill her future opportunities
it may ruin her future opportunities or it may adjust things a bit we can't conclude for now. Besides, if she keeps quite she may end up as a unsong hero and that is like a slow death.

They both risked their lives but she was the one out there on the field, she may have been caught in the process and strangled to death... Case could have been denied and even covered up by lecturers as a whole, drag it till eternity in court till we all forget about it...

She deserves more than ordinary credits

sanpipita:
Jealousy is bad, Oge made her terms with BBC but once she saw Kiki winning awards she began feeling sick plus her friends who pushed her to this.
This is another angle to it, but the question is how many people risked it all to bring the case to light?
CelebritiesRe: Everyone Journalist Involved In Sex For Grades Documentary Got Credit – BBC by King44(m): 1:25pm On Dec 14, 2020
somebody02:
So, why is Oge crying out right now.
She for don vexxxxx way back.
At least open up when the whole documentary began to blow.
She should take what's left of her L and build something meaningful out of it
PS: not a fan of Kiki
She for don change am since but she no soro soke at all.

That excuse up there still don't cut it, two people were suppose to receive wards, credits, financial rewards but only one person is getting it because the other person's name was omitted.

Did they ask her if she wants to keep her name secret or not?

Even if that asked, that shouldn't be a reason why she was left out, credits won't put food on her table, credits in this case can't help her achieve her dreams

On a more serious note Kiki Modi collaborated with Ogeh to reveal the evil perpetrated by some lectures but she ended up doing something similar to what she tried to stop.

Kiki modi is thief and an asshole, feminist collision just lost my respect for pushing Oghe into depression...

If Kiki was not selfish and greedy she would have at a point shared the credit with Oghe but you know greed wouldn't let her do such....
PoliticsRe: Aisha Yesufu: 'For Your Marriage To Work, Keep Your Mother Out Of It' by King44(m): 5:36pm On Dec 13, 2020
What works for family A may not work for Family be, there are many marriages that are still waxing stranger today because of interference from either mother or father, thus their role can't be downplayed. There are also some marriages whereby the reason why everything is upside down is because of their mothers, especially the ones that take sides and dishes bad advice to their children.

But for me o, my mom may not be able to give me the best of advice without being taking sides fortunately, I understand her and I know how to handle things already so taking her out of the equation is not an option when I am not a bastard and that is how it should be.

Just get familiar with your partner's mother during courtship know what they are capable of, make a decision so that all these werey advice won't come back to hurt you.

Why would you take your parents out of your marriage when they are not trouble makers and bad advisers whom you can't control... So it depends what works for A may not work for B.

blackpanthar:
There is something called SWOT Analysis.... you need to do it for whatever area and business you choose.

This 2020 has been a year of reset... you need to set up a business that will thrive irrespective of lockdown or plandemic.

Let me give you a few...

1) FOOD PROCESSING or FOOD COOKING
2) Agric-tech( where you invEst in buying a farm and you get as little as 50% ROI in 5 months.
3) STOCKS or FOREX.... (well... this one is late because if you used 4M to buy dollar at the beginning of the lockdown, by now you would have more than 6M)
4) Land.. then you put it out for LEASE (this is big business if you are in an industrial area)
5) health kits too
6) tech (setting up a dating or earning or news website or app is huge business)
7) real estate
cool mobile printing press (a van that is converted to a mobile office and you can drive to campuses and print on a daily basis)... someone sold this business here on NL for 850k with gen and other stuff.
9) TRUCK business (this is a very big business because a company handles every other thing for you once you buy the truck at an installment of 1.5m)
10) YOU (why not learn skills that will make you so versatile for less than 500k and then use the 3.5 to establish yourself)

Now sit and think which one your personality can cope with. Then Launch. I wish you well bro
Agric is very lucrative. There is a certain part in the agricultural sector in which if you invest 2OOk he could make 800k per annum.

Agriculture, very reliable.

For the first and last time I'm going to let this your very comment plus your next response to this my message go without me cursing you back.

I put this here for people to see because of how this will end for you.

We both insulted parents long time ago but you have since kept bringing my handle to every thread you comment on including the ones I don't know exist. You have a death wish and when you do get it, people will see that I avoided you long enough.
you are very sick, diabolical nonentity like you. When I made that promise never to forget how you insulted my mom do you think I was playing? Guy come, there is nothing you can do. If we are seeing each other live probably someone amongst us would have had the another person arrested. You don't curse people's parents no matter your political affiliation, it may worth it to you but to me, it is very stupid.

And for your threat alaye gbe gbe o, if na alfah you wan go you go meet me there, if na babalawo you wan go you go meet me there and if na prayer you need no wahala. Make I just free you cos I believe say one day your political blindness wey fit make you insult people parents go put you for real life trouble.
