Which match?
D India vs Nigeria match
SportsRe: Remembering Samuel Okwaraji 29 Years Later. by kingkoboko: 10:55am On Aug 12, 2018
yokiti:
Sir, so it has been a long time this "fabu" of a thing has been in existence.
I heard that there was a bet that if Nigeria scores just a goal that we are the winner of the match irrespective of the opposition's goal which happens to be India.

We were told this the aftermath of this match made the football authorities to place a ban on India participation in world football till further notice.

In the narratives, the ball will be turning to lion when Indian players face our own goalkeeper thereby, making the man between the poles to run for his dear life.

The ball will be as hard as rock when it reaches the legs of our players, hence their inability to play well. The man that eventually scored a goal for Nigeria broke his leg in the process.
.
May God forgive those generations that coined the "fabu" and those that took it upon themselves to spread the lie inspired gospel.
.
Thank you very much for the Killington Ayinla's YouTube video. I really appreciated it.
Sir, can you please give an insight into the reason most folklore has Tortoise in it (evident in the last past of chief Kollington's video)
D unforgettable match was played on August 15th, 1970. Why not read d full story 1st?

I had heard of that mythical match between Nigeria and India long before Samuel Okwaraji died.

Teslim "Thunder" Balogun scored Nigeria's only goal in the version that I heard. There was also another myth that Thunder Balogun killed his brother by playing a shot (with his left leg) that went through his brother's stomach.

I didn't believe the myths because they sounded too fantastic.

My uncle (the one that told me that Okwaraji was dead) played with Thunder Balogun and I thought of asking him if the stories were true, but I never summoned the courage too ask him (I didn't want to ask him a ridiculous question).

Edit. kingkoboko, no such match took place.

SportsSuper Eagles Will Finish 4TH and Bring Home N6.6BILLION by kingkoboko(op):
King kObOkO visited Goal.com & saw that the Super Eagles will come back to Nigeria after the world cup with at least $8million or N2.4billion (i.e. using N300 per dollar as my exchange rate). If you doubt me go and see it yourself here: http://www.goal.com/en/news/world-cup-2018-prize-money-how-much-do-the-winners-get-countries-/h9rstxkx3z6k1c8eonct5g1xa

However, King kObOkO predicts that the Super Eagles will finish at fourth place and bring home $22million which is at least N6.6billion (using N300 per dollar as my exchange rate).

The Super Eagles won't crash out at the group stage as almost every Nigerian fears. The Super Eagles will shock the world just as The Dream Team shocked the world 22years ago at Atlanta '96. The spiritual and political conditions in Nigeria then in 1996 are similar to the conditions in Nigeria now in 2018. How, you ask? Well, in African China's voice, If I say A, you say BA, another man say CHA, omo na you sabi. And if I say BU, you say HA, another man say RI, omo na you sabi. Hehehe...

Jokes apart, make Super Eagles and NFF remember King kObOKO in paradise when this prediction comes to pass o! I fit manage $4,000 (at least N1.2million). Eye wey see vision go chop na. *winks*
LiteratureRe: Why Are Writers Underpaid In Nigeria. by kingkoboko: 7:14am On Apr 06, 2018
This ur rant doesn't even sell ur own writing skills well. U shud have done ur research properly b4 writing it. Have u found out how much an average journalist in Nigeria earns? Except u're referring 2freelance writers alone. I'm not saying writers are well-paid in Naija o! Hehehe...

And in my own opinion, a creative writer deserves more respect & more money than a journalist because honestly it's easier 2report an event (If u passed thru secondary sch, u must've learnt 2write such essays) than it is 2use ur imagination 2craft out written works of art.

That's why writers like Chinua Achebe & King kObOkO will always make money, dead or alive, selling their creative works. If u're wondering who King kObOkO is, ask Google abeg. *winks*

SportsKanu Nwankwo Can Be Nigeria's George Weah by kingkoboko(op): 12:06pm On Dec 29, 2017
Every Nigerian loves Kanu Nwankwo. He won us an Olympic gold in 1996. He brought smiles to our faces in the midst of Gen. Sani Abacha's regime. He has brought smiles to the faces of many poor families with his Kanu Heart Foundation. Papilo, as he's fondly called all over Nigeria, undoubtedly has a heart of gold.

This is the kind of man we need as Nigeria's president. A man with a golden heart. A man who's loved in the North, East, West and South of Nigeria. A man who's loved from Africa to Europe, America, Asia and beyond. A man who's already rich. A man with a global reputation to protect.

We've recently witnessed the emergence of a football giant George Weah as president of Liberia. We can also witness the emergence of another football giant Kanu Nwankwo as the president of Nigeria. Be it in 2023 after Buhari's reign or in 2027 after Atiku's reign (if he wins in 2019), it'll be the turn of the Igbo to produce Nigeria's president after the North's present turn. Abi no be so? Kanu Nwankwo remains a fresh and youthful alternative to the old and corrupt politicians we keep recycling in this country.

Papilo, I know sey one day u go make us proud as our presido. Papilo, King kObOkO is urging u to consider contesting for Nigeria's No.1 seat.

PointB:
Remi's article captured the intricacies of Nigeria - the lies, deceits, that is the foundation of Nigeria.

The core northerners will always yearn for a Buhari to enthrone sharia across board, while core southerners will be ever ready to vote an Ibori or even a goat rather than see this agenda materialise. Nigeria will never make meaningful progress as presently constituted. Best we split country into component nations in the interest of all.

I agree with every bit of the article.
its jst as if u foresaw d emergence of Buhari. Hehehe...

PoliticsRe: The Mistake Of Nnamdi Kanu By Kelechi Mbamnozie by kingkoboko: 5:29am On Sep 17, 2017
U'r 80% wrong. D main mistake Nnamdi Kanu made was d inauguration of d BSS & BNG. Even as a pro-Biafra myself, I knew he'd made a grievous mistake wen he made dat move.

D election-boycott move was actually pure genius. He could've followed it up wit a BOYCOTT ON BEEF 2make Fulani herdsmen & their sponsors feel d financial heat in d S.E.
PoliticsRe: . by kingkoboko: 4:59am On Sep 17, 2017
King kObOkO is pro-Biafra but I mst admit dat Sen. Ekweremadu has spoken well.

Nonetheless, I'm sure d North won't agree 2restructure Nigeria knowin dat they'r benefitin more from dis present centralized unitary system dat's only been CAMOUFLAGED as a federal system. Besides, they fear dat agreein 2restructuring is like bowing 2 Ojukwu's Aburi Accord in disguise & admittin dat he was right 50yrs ago. Hehehe...

I see d North sufferin in d future wen their poor almajiri population rise up in a revolution against their leaders. I see d North cryin 4disintegration afta crude oil has become an irrelevant resource all over d world. But tragically, d Kanuri NE, Igbo SE, Yoruba SW, d oil-devastated SS & herdsmen-ravaged NC will take d 1Nigeria war 2them in a 2nd Civil War.

U may dismiss King kObOkO as a prophet of doom but I only want d North 2look far in2 d future & realise dat their children will bear d brunt of dis present oppressive Nigerian unitary system.

I weep 4d North 40yrs from now. They'll wish they allowed dis same restructuring Sen. Ekweremadu & all other regions hav been clamoring 4.
LiteratureWill Nigeria Exist 100years From Now? by kingkoboko(op): 11:47pm On Sep 15, 2017
WILL NIGERIA EXIST 100YEARS FROM NOW?

Pls everyone, this question is meant to challenge ur vision, imagination & futuristic-fiction writing ability.

King kObOkO sincerely believes that if our leaders could see 100years into the future, they'd realise that Nigeria is not worth killing separatists for. Just as the immediate past president Goodluck Jonathan realised that his ambition was not worth the blood of any Nigerian and stepped down after losing the election.

So what does King kObOkO see 100years from now?

1. Nigeria will still exist but neither as big nor as multi-ethnic as it is presently. I also see a Black nation emerging as the world power by then.

2. Crude oil will definitely be replaced by alternative sources of energy in at most 30years from now.

3. At least 10 more nations will exist all over the world 50years from now.

4. King kObOkO will be dead 80years from now. Abi una think sey I wan live sotey my children and grandchildren go dey beg me to go join my mates? No na. Hehehe...

Stretch ur mind into the 22nd century. Imagine the advancement in technology. Imagine the advancement in the international financial and political system. What do u see? Paint the picture for us in words. *winks*

There are leaders of mass movements that have been killed, whose movements fizzled out upon their death and till today nothing has been heard of their followers. He conveniently ignored that angle.
U'r only speakin wit d advantage of hindsight. If u were alive during Jesus' time, I dont think u'd hav accepted him as divine o!

Not tryin 2say dat Nnamdi Kanu's a god though. But Buhari has turned him in2 a political idol. Hehehe...

I wish people cud jst look 100yrs in2 d future. They'll realise dat Nigeria isnt worth killin for.

Most Nigerians like 2pretend as if they dont d history of how Nigeria was formed. As if they dont know dat d British created Nigeria 4its own colonial interests while anointing d Hausa-Fulani as d neo-colonial masters of Nigeria.

D Igbos are victims of dis colonial injustice, oppression & ethnic supremacy. But 1day, by d power of God, I know dat we must b FREE.
