Tutu82: Yes adding a few and linking it to the payment dates helps explain your transactions as am nearly sure it’s via bank transfer that will reflect on your account. I really appreciate you taking out time to reply please I have more questions to ask 1) what if the payment Dose not show in my account Maybe because I made payment before printing out six month statement and the transaction was done 8 month back can I still include it 2) I like doing my hotel bookings with travelbeta because I have someone there, the question is if my hotel don't show the amount dose it matter |

Tutu82: I would say with Embassies in general it is all circumstantial and every individual application is considered on its own merit. You are strongly advised to show your “alleged” (I use this word not to be rude but to mean they do not know whether you have money or not till you show it!)source of income incoming and outgoing to lend to the idea that the trip is affordable Perhaps the criteria’s are not the best but it is what it is and ultimately the decision is yours on what to submit.I hope this is a bit clearer. Thanks so much ..as for me I am summiting everything I have the stress of this embassy is too much |

josephb: Hi @kingpokko
To be Candid,
I understand the nature of your business, however, UK Embassy has made visa process difficult for Business or Company Directors who don't pay themselves salaries.
If you can go through the process(es) other Business/Company Directors have gone through; such as paying yourself monthly salary to reflect your monthly income, then you are good to go.
As for me, i cannot do that and i won't, it's a place i have been before and nothing so special.
Best of Luck. Dose it mean other embassy don't do that paying your self |

Tutu82: . They don’t get an allowance and you don’t pay electricity bill or shipping fees for the doors to reach you.Right okay, think of paying yourself a set amount as salary every month. If you feel it’s no good for you apply and hope for the best then.Best of luck. Well my brother they can't be feeding from my picket and still get allowance as for the doors shipping papers I don't have them as I am not an importer of the doors yet it only people that brings in the doors through Turkey or China has such papers in this business we have dealers and retailers and in this case am a retailer |

[quote author=Tutu82 post=105294112]If the company account is not running it shows you must not be doing very well so it’s good you keep both accounts running. All am saying is separate spending as much as possible. So just shop rent no bills or staff payments.Whats sort of business is it?.That’s a tad strange.[/
Okay let's me explain I sale fancy doors like garman door China steal door Turkey luxury door I have 3 shops and you know as we Igbos do we get someone to sarve us after years we settle them with their own shop something like that so we don't pay anybody sarving monthy salary ..note that the company is registered to do a lot of thing's like sponsoring football players and signing of record deals with musicians .but for the shop I have I stay in one of them why my boys serving me stays in the other two so I don't Pay them .they stay in my House I feed them they close 6 and come back home so we don't do anything genetor just nolma light that we share with other shop owners I hope you can understand this |

Tutu82: Hi,I just mean for example you own a bottle water company that makes water the funds in the company account includes your capital, profit, maintenance, expenses and general running of the business. You can’t clear it out to go and chill in London as what happens when you need to pay for a broken down machinery. So have that and also run your own personal account, where you set money aside routinely for your own needs so if you decide to use a percentage of it to naked in Brighton beach and towel off sweat with the money it’s all yours and you are justified. Church and state separate it. Hope this makes sense some?. Thanks so much for talking out time to reply . I got the company account and I have the ATM . what am doing is this when I spend from my savings account I spend from the company account too so both of them can be running and please note that the company don't really spend much only on shop rent wich is Every year so am using the ATM to do spending of any kind dose it matter |

Tutu82: I am not sure what you mean by ex-banker but ild say your finances seems all over the place or perhaps i don’t understand you proper(ly).
To answer no 5 you don’t have to have a “good” opening balance it just the way it is run and balance that matters.
To answer no 4 it doesn’t matter how many accounts you have they just need to know how much you spend every month this includes feeding, pay bills all of that just a given amount. If you say it is 200k that means your disposal is 550k(since you earn 750k).
To answer no 3:Yes both accounts are yours but the business account is corporate so keep them separate and be sure you can explain anything out of the norm. The caseworker uses the phrase within reason to make a decision that’s why two people presenting the same information don’t get the same outcome.
To answer no 2:YES. To answer no 1:It does not matter how you pay yourself just explain it on your cover letter. If i am to speak bluntly; You took a good step by opening a corporate account and being the sole signatory the bank will have to do you a reference letter saying you are the sole signatory for so so company and sign thus…You might need a board resolution signed by yourself and the other director to substantiate your claim to 1m in shares.
You have run the company for years but to them you have only run it since 2020 when it was registered.Invoices are good but did they tally with the lodgements in your account and was it within that rang for all the months you submitted.
Take some months off to breathe and save up As a family of four and the sole breadwinner i do not feel you are able to afford this trip at this time. Good morning please I want to ask ..when you say keep corporate account separate what dose it mean |

shawlar: Like giselle237 said above, get the company registered, open an account for it and let all revenue of the business be paid into that account. Also let all your receipts, invoices, contracts etc bear the name of your company. That's the only way you can use it as an income source. You CD an also consider paying yourself a fixed monthly income from that company account into your personal account as salary.
NB; I'm interested in venturing into this kind of business also. Can I PM you for more info/tips? Hello good morning please can get your email so I can contact you directly I have a lot of question to ask about self employed account |

dotcomnamename: Hello guys,
As there is no thread for Croatian Visit/Tourist Visa in nairaland, i have decided to convert this thread for the purpose of gathering information about Croatian Visit/Tourist Visa.
I and my family was granted 14 days visa each and we spent 10 days in the very beautiful Zagreb city. What a beautiful clean country. We did not experience any form of racism. Croatians are so friendly and accommodating. They love what is called "Enjoyment" . Their official currency is called "Kuna". However, you will still be able to pay in Euros for certain items such as accommodation, transportation and some restaurants. The country is currently at the final stage of becoming Schengen member state.
There is a Nigerian restaurant there called African Cuisine & Bar and the most shocking thing is that Croatians are their main customers... The way Croatians are eating Nigerian foods is really shocking..
Below are some of the pictures I took in Croatia (Zagreb)
CROATIA:
Croatia is a member of the European Union (EU) Official languages: Croatian Government: Parliamentary system Population: 4.171 million Currency:Kuna (HRK) Capital: Zagreb Calling code: +385
Now let's talk about Croatian visit/tourist visa requirements and how to apply for the visa in Nigeria:
