Do we have gurus in this mechanic field that organise seminars, teaching beginners or other car gurus that want to increase their knowledge on car repairs especially on new technologies?

The world is evolving so is technology, i believe you made this post because we don't have more enough mechanics that specials in German cars and can handle all the issues that comes with it.

With all the car gurus in this section, I've only come across something like this once here, that was some years ago by someone in Abuja.

Seminars and stuffs don't work in most case.
A mechanic or technician is a highly technical and skilled professional. It requires hours of both theoretical and practical exposures repeatedly on varying challenges of machines (automobiles in this case) to improve upon his skills. It also doesn't come cheap.

The upgrades they made could be made by any other car manufacturer with less noise and drama.

Let's look at a 2003/4 camry vs 2005/6 camry.

Different head and tail lamps, different grille, different front bumper, different fabric upholstery, different steering, slightly different dash, ABS standard, side curtain airbag standard, 5sp auto, lower NVH levels, stiffer chassis.


Same happened in camry 2007/9-2010/11 camry.
Different head and tail lamps, better dash which is more resistant to crack and melting, 2.5L, 6sp auto, different grille, different front bumper, redesigned SRS system, redesigned carpet, lower NVH levels, stiffer chassis.


So what has benz done in W212 that is different from these up there?

If one isn't a die hard, hard core fan of BMW, and he's easily throwing in the towel when faced with challenges, he shouldn't go near one.

And for d benz u want to go for, i would advice u go for w212 facelift 2014 to 2016 . 7speed and a very gud fuel economy benz spent 1billion dollars on d engineering of d face lift.everytin about it is perfect

Please I discover my gear hangs for like 3 seconds while changing gears but only does this when selecting gear 3. Others selects smoothly

I mean, while accelerating, it hangs and releases forcefully with "paa" sound. I have actually scanned but gets only p0031 as fault code. A friend recommends i go for a higher more professional scanning tool.

I have got trac, vsc, abs and check engine light on my dashboard

Could it be a sensor issue or nah gear wahala

Help! Help!! Help...My 2005 Toyota Camry "big daddy " revs up to 2000rpm, when transmitting between Gear 1 and 2. It happens when the engine has worked for so long, hot and mostly in afternoon. It now has over 187000 reading on odometer. It was bought in 2019 tokunbo.

"Kazeem" suggested we should change the transmission/gear Oil with Gear filter....

Could "kazeem" be right?

It should rev to that speed na. 2000rpm before engine change isn't bad.

Trees can be planted. The roots of trees helps hold the soil together, herbs and shrubs also reduces issues of water run off and traps soil borne in water from rain. This helps reduces soil erosion.

This is why they're advocating for greens around or close to flood prone areas and also near water bodies.

Most cities are designed and developed with greenries in mind. Replacing those green herbs and shrubs with interlock defeats the purpose and makes fir a boring concrete jungle.

The owner only wanted the a/c to be fix that is why he brought the car into the dealership. The a/c needed to be gas ...

So the dealership convince the owner to test drive the Q50.... He test drove it and loved it .. He bought the car that same day and took the car home .......

So dealership decided to put the traded car for display. They will never sell that car o... The car is their bragging rights....

So them dey do bragging rights with a mere 257k miles when toyota, benz, Volvo dey chop 500k or more miles steady and will not even show signs of wear out?!

I got a great deal on an almost tokunbo 2009 Camry. The issue with it is that it revs up to 5,000 rpm before switching to second and third gears.

I’d like to know if it would be wise to go ahead and buy it and just change the transmission box. And how much would another transmission cost.

While one use it to make money, to provide job, search for job, promote his/her business, meet people and share new ideas, learn about happenings and keep abreast with happenings all around the world, some others use the internet to chat watch pornography, watch movies, etc all day, all week all month and a year is lost, some even use it for criminal and drug abuse purposes.

Lol. Actually put myself in big time gbese with my 2007 toyota camry XLE with same condition. the self acclaimed gear box specialist overfilled the gear oil and it damaged my gear completely. Im scared of risking it again. since all these gear specialists are bunches of trial and error.

From the both quote, I infer that no transmission technician damaged your transmission. The transmission was already on its way out. It's not about over gauging or under gauging. The first thing most FSM (factory service/repair manual) will tell you about transmission repairs or trouble shooting is to change fluid. If changing fluid can't work, a thorough troubleshooting will follow suit then a decision whether to replace or repair the defective transmission will be made.
