2007 Honda accord 2.4L engine oil leak fix.
Customer complained of oil disappearing rapidly such that he tops two gallons in a space of 3months.
On inspection, we discovered ALL the oil seals on the engine were degraded and oil leaked terribly from every joints and crevice.

For this engine to be fixed, the engine needed to be removed from the car stripped down to almost bare block and every single oil seal replaced with genuine quality and also the oil seals were coated with appropriate high quality sealants.

If you don't believe me, log onto jiji and browse the Bmw models on sale. Omo, you go see 2012 Beemers (5 & 7 series most especially X5) being advertised for 2 or 3 million because the machine don show dem pepper.

Do not buy the "if you don't use the recommended oil grade, it will fvck you up" bullshiit. Bmws are designed to fail.

Misery loves company. The owners are trying to transfer the burden to the next unfortunate owner while they themselves port to Japanese.

Don't get me wrong, I will definitely still buy Beemers (prolly The M6 & X7M) because it was my first love but e go be brand new tear-rubber and by that time, I go don relocate to Switzerland or Austria where competent hands can diagnose & work on it, not all these our trial & error mechanics looking for shortcuts to escape Buhari's induced-hardship (no offense intended).

Amigo, the long & short of my epistle is that if you have 5Billion Naira in your "akkant" ; by all means, go ahead & buy the Beemer.

There are terms and conditions attached to the loans. A loan can be paid even when it's gone past it agreed date, a damaged reputation is hard (near impossible) to repair.

Very questionable engine build quality.

Single chain driving cam and crankshaft which are prone to stretching, camshaft sprocket are prone to stripping their teeth, cam magnets are known to fail, supercharger are known to give up, oil leaks. Once the chain snaps, its a good bye kiss to that engine.

Please i need advise on which to choose between rav4 2005 model and crv 2007 model. All Nigerian used but to be checked by a competent mechanic.

My budget is 1.3M and it's going to be our first car but to be used by wifey. But i want a reliable and maintenance friendly 4 cylinder cuv/suv that will not give her headache and best value for money.

Now cars have pretensioned 3 point seat belts, collapsible steering columns and pedals, crash safety crumple zones in front, sides and rear to absorb the force of impact, and dissipate this force around the vehicle thus damaging the vehicle but saving the occupants.
