I intend getting a Rewire to do works that will enable me use a remote to open and lock my car. It’s a Hyundai Accent 08 car and didn’t come with remote functionality. Is it worth the stress? Is it doable? Are the parts something I can buy myself? Advice needed please.

I owned a 2006 Frontier for 6 months. It was one of my hardest 6 months with a car!

Honda Ridgeline is a better looking car, both inside and outside, but the Frontier is a more practical pick up truck. All the people i know with Ridgelines have no serious complaints, but the people i know with Frontiers sold them off due to one issue or the other. The DSS discontinued the purchase of new Frontiers even the Nigeria Police Force & Customs no gree buy them again after their first batch!

On the contrary, a 2002 Nissan Frontier 3.3L V6 with 4X4 is long bed dual cabin has proven to be the most reliable truck in my uncle's farm in Nassarawa state. It's 6years and still going strong. Very stable on high way and it's used to tow some heavy items such and also convey loads in its bucket.

The 2006 Tundra is Not as rugged as the Frontier. It's transmission and rear axle got damaged when we attempted to tow steel H beams and we had to get a replacement.

Let me correct this quickly,there is nothing like v4 it is four plug. The v6 is as a result of the meeting point of the plugs,it meets at a v- point

Now let's go to the discussion proper.
In the v6 engine we have 6 plugs and the opening valve is 6 for the flow of fuel for combustion, now while I used a v6 engine the acceleration is superb, you tend to achieve more miles faster than the 4 plug engine.

It does consume fuel but then it's movement balance the fuel consumption. The only challenge is when you stay in places like lagos where you have alot of traffic,then you won't enjoy the car very we.

Four plug engine takes less fuel for combustion because of its 4 valve opening, it takes less fuel compared to the v6. But the acceleration is less compared to v6

Actually v4 exists. Most common in motorcycles

The fuel consumption is not that much. A difference of 2mpg isn't much. I know some l4 engines that get poor gas mileage like 8mpg due to bad o2 sensor/ air flow ratio mixture.

Some v6 are terrible on fuel economy.
The size and shape and mass of the vehicle also matters.

Some v8 are even more efficient than some v6.

As regards engine and transmission, reviews have shown they are quite foolproof.

They're not as bad as portrayed when fuel economy is considered.
They're cheaper than acura and Lexus parts by a huge margin.

My friend and I bought our first car together, deep late last year. (October). We all decided to buy a Toyota Camry with emphasis on the 2010/2011 model (Because of the unique driving experience it gives you when compared to the 2007/2008/2009 model).

My friend got a 2010 Hybrid edition, while I bought a 2011 XLE V4 edition, I wanted to go for the Hybrid editions, but a lot of people kept advising me on getting it, saying it would be hard/expensive to maintain and in some cases I may need to remove the Hybrid abilities of the car and replace it with a conventional engine. But, yesterday I almost cried because I got to see my friends car for the first time yesterday and I got the opportunity to drive it. My God, it was the best car I have ever driven, the torque is not in this world, the engine is sound, put your legs on the accelerator and here it goes, it consumes less fuel (He spends 3K on fuel weekly driving from Ajah to the mainland on the daily basis) and it eco-friendly.

I wish I didn't listen to anyone.
