I know this is an old thread but I'm about buying a 2005 used Mercedes benz E320(Rwd). What is the reliability of this car and what's the current cost of parts replacement especially the SBC which I learnt it used to cost circa N350,000?

Please what do we do about excessive fuel tank pressure for 07 LX470?

When we open the fuel cap After driving the car for more than 10 minutes, the build up pressure is much. When the car parked after driving it for a while, hissing/evaporation sounds can be heard and sometimes fumes can be seen.

We've tried driving around without the fuel cap screwed on but little improvement was seen.

Please any pointers on how to fix this?

But why the RPM so high on the Tundra though?? Overdrive disabled I guess. Once my ford edge gets to 80km/h overdrive kicks in. It wont rev past 2rpm and the speedo go dey flow dey go till 220. It really makes driving the car very enjoyable on long trips on good roads. Quiet and fuel-conserving whilst still delivering on quick acceleration. Even my old work car back in the day, a 1.6l Renault Logan 2012 with no overdrive did 210kmh on Benin-ore once like that and it didn't rev as high as this. Maybe cos i cruised into it and just held it there till there was nothing more to give..lol

even a 7 speed auto matic diesel v8 wont lie the way you just did.

Hello everyone, I'm making enquiries about Car AC system.

There is this device that controls the blend of hot and cool Air that comes out the AC vents . It's called "Blend door actuator".

Please who know what it's called in Kazeem terms I mean what does the regular mechanic refer to it as?

Does a Toyota Camry LE 2012 have a blend door actuator?

All cars with AC and cabin heater function (HVAC) has blend door Actuators.
It's a set of flaps that is controlled by small motors that turns and closes or opens to enable warm and cold air mix together which is then blown into the cabin when the AC or Heater function is activated.


I don't know what a regular kazeem call it. But depending on your trim of car, you may have one or more blend door Actuators.
