isaacprinz: I strongly disagree with this trash you spill here, If you say the above mentioned countries have good leaders I may agree with you, but Nigeria is a great country blessed with all the amenities of life. In fact which ever local hole you crawl out from have in one time or the other benefitted from this great country called Nigeria. You must be a really rude spoil child or one frustrate stray youth to talk such to me. You and I do NOT belong to same demographics. Stick to your demographics while I stick to mine and we'll be fine. Rubbish and ingredients! |

rdokoye: [s]There's nothing to quote. The Nigerian economy retracted over the period of 1960 - 1999. Nigeria had a Per Capita income of $10,000 in 1960, by 1999, it was $900. Nigerians were 900% poorer after 30%+ years of military governance.
What infrastructure projects are you talking about? Most of Nigeria's infrastructure was built in the last 20 years. Nigeria was a heavily indebted country by 1999, owing over $20 billion dollars, with a GDP no larger than Ghana today, with over 120 million people in it. Imagine if Ghana (today) had a population of 120 million. That's how bad the situation in Nigeria was.
The military only gave the nation over to civilians, because Nigeria was on the brink of total collapse.
It boggles the mind how anyone can rationalise that a nation is better run by trained killers than actual educated people.[/s] Fallacies. |

Hintona: [s]People like you are the ones hindering Nigeria's progress, my earnest prayer that your type is not much in this country if not we are doomed.
America did not become the greatest country in the world because it's people were pessimistic bigots nonsense.[/s] Oh shut up and stop being all emotional and sentimental and in the process throwing common sense away. The moment we realize out weaknesses and deal with these weakness, then shall we start to progress. I am a realist in nature and I am optimistic about some things when I see them. But the way this country has been headed, if we continue in that manner, I'd say we are heading for doom. Real fact! You don't need to like my comment or agree with me before it becomes real and I don't give a shyte about what your emotion and mind set is about anything. |

Coder2Client: Let me learn from you na, in what way are the countries you mentioned better than Nigeria and if you can add, what significant impact have they made on the continent? Charity begins at home. Rwanda, Angola, etc have stable power supply, better infrastructures than Nigeria and they are amongst the newest evolving economy to come out of Africa with industrialization, ICT, medicine and tourism combined with sustainable development. These are what they're building for their citizens unlike some big for nothing country that is out to destroy her citizens, trample on the Human Rights of the citizens, massively looting and emptying the country of its meagre resources. No power supply, poor infrastructure, almost no industrialization and high levels of poverty. |

rdokoye: So uneducated people can run a country better than educated people? According to you? Seeing as there's no ethical difference between the two, both civilian and military are corrupt, don't you think it makes sense to have people who know how to run an economy, running an economy. As opposed to people who are trained to kill, trying to write policies, and stimulate economic growth? How many of your democratically elected politicians are educated? Even the few that are educated, what impact have they left or are they making? This is the problem I have with you pro-educationists (sic). It's not about qualifications most times, it's about who's got genuine interest and knows very much about situations of things happening and knows how to find solutions to these challenges. By the way, I am also highly educated with quite a number of degrees and certifications. |

If military rule will make things work for them, I am totally in support of it. If democratic rule will not work, I'd kick against it. It's high time we stopped copying the Western world and do something that will work well for us by charting a new course in our continent and country's own growth part. Democracy isn't working for most W. African countries truth be told. |

You risk running your internals scorching hot that they'll warp, you'd melt piston crowns and warp top and cylinder walls will become uneven. Hope you know petrol (Gasoline) is also used as a lubricant and a sort of temperature regulator in Petrol based ICE. Also, installing this set up side by side petrol without knowing its volatility index, and properly timing the engine properly to combine the two to detonate exactly the way normal petrol in your engine should will cause premature detonation aka knocking of engine. This isn't something that's worth it for a long term or permanent install. |
