Now temp gets to extreme without triggering the 'check engine' light in the dashboard, unlike b4 when I used water, such temperatures will certainly trigger the light for me to stop.

Good evening sir, I have a Toyota Camry 2010 V6 and every now and then I'll have the check engine light come on. A diagnostic test will show some cylinders are misfiring and the fault will be cleared. My mechanic says it's because the exhaust system is blocked, that there is need for the catalyst to be cut open and cleaned.
My question is can a dirty catalyst cause this problem and should I allow him tamper with it?

Stop insulting me, there are many online sites that sell parts for vehicles, I think you just had a taste of your own medicine, learn the lesson and stop shouting like a castrated dog, get lost.

One thing you guys fail to understand is that OEM bulbs for luxury cars like the benz arent mass produced, they re exclusive to dealers.
If you want oem bulbs you have to cannibilze them from donor vehicles or thru someone has direct access to dealer.
For now make use of chinese clones.

Thank you, 2007 camry had a timing belt problem, use oil excessively.

Vehicle experts will advice you not to buy the 1st generation of a new model due to unforseen issues that will crop up, instead hold out for the 2nd generation when these issues have been fixed or go for the last generation of the previous model, those ones are always decked out and all issues sorted

Why do you have to compare an abused rwd e550? Same applies to a 4matic with such faulty systems . It will experience almost same symptoms but traction will be a little better.

Besides having does electronic system off doesn't mean you'll spin out of control . For God's Sake the e550 is not even up to 450hp.

If you know how to drive . You won't get your self killed.
People drive big block rwd V8 with twin turbo chargers pouring 1200hp . And they do just fine.
This cars have no esp , vsc or even abs.
It's just the driver and the motor . No computers .
Complete drive by cable.
Real drivers don't need computers correcting their errors for them.

We are in the generation where 80% of the population can't drive a manual transmission vehicle.
Driverless cars are coming soon.
