I need some expert advice or a good mechanic with experience in landcruiser prado. I noticed a kickback on my brake pedal everytime i depress my brakes. Mechanic said its my abs module.and disconnected it. Yes the kickback stopped but now my fuel.guage.is erratic goes up.and down never showing true fuel level. Temperature guage is flat down. In serious traffic it rises but prior to.this. it used to.be in the middle level. Have been told.change.the instrument cluster and different things. Have.changed.fuel.guage. no difference. Please.any.good mechanic in port harcourt?

I had another experience last year with a Mercedes Benz CLK230 2001 model.
I was suppose to get to Uyo, but I took the coupe from Lagos Amuwo Origin at 5pm, hoping to stop at Saba that night and then continuing the next day.
After sagamu interchange, it became dark, turn on headlamp and discovered they were pointing skywards na there my horror started.
Drove at a speed of 80km/h till I slammed a huge crater just on a bridge in Edo around Okada area that was when my brakes began to feel spongy. Still continued stubbornly till I got to Ehor trailer park just where the trucks park along the expressway at 9:32pm. I went into a very huge crater head on at 80km/h, car flew up and landed with a huge crash, engine went off, all lights went off, came down, used the flash on my phone to trace what happened, Boom! The damn aluminium engine oil sump had a gaping hole.
Car became immobilized.

Last week, Vehicle RX300 AWD,
Driving from Lagos to Abuja.
Mehn not funny.
Saw a truck coming and a useless Commercial bus driver trying to over take me withing very close range of the truck. Had to quickly jump into down the road to save the life of all the passengers on board that bus.

Two lower control arms bent, two front shocks collapse, brake servo became stuck. And alignment went haywire.

I need your support on my Corrolla 2004 car.
The engine was making knocking sound around October 2016 and my mechanic changed the Crankshaft/metal but since then the fuel efficiency has dropped drastically to roughly about 16ltrs/100km, I noticed after the day of change of crankshaft the idle RPM was high around 1600rpm but when you adjust it to like 800-1000rpm on idle the car will vibrate and even more when the AC is ON, I noticed also that when the car is on 1600rpm idle and you shift the gear to D(drive) the RPM will drop from 1600rpm to around 900-1000rpm. In this state now I noticed the AC keeps working and stopping at consistent intervals.

Another issue I noticed is that the car keeps shorting engine oil since then to the extent of my oil gauge dropping to like 3/4 quarter level after driving like 1600km but what surprises me is that the car is not smoking and can't find any oil droplet

Please I will like you to help on this issue and thanks for your good work here.

My RX na 40km/h e dey activate and can't go beyond 180km/h.
When I'm cruising at 120km/h, I use it, I don't throttle, I don't brake. I use the CANCEL to decelerate, and ACC/RESUME to accelerate. Very sweet way to enjoy great MPG.

If transmission fluid normally run at 200F and you open it up at 100 the axle is riding on a seal I don't really see anything bad with warm system

These transmissions are 'weyrey transmissions'. They have minds of their own.

Not 13 and 22 pin Toyota gearbox CV joint removal job.
Even when its cold, remove its CV joint, before you install a new CV if its not sparkling clean, you'd gain 'experience' too.

My car has been a joy until recently.
I have been battling with a harmonic / steering wheel vibration for 2 months now and can't solve this problem.
There is a bouncy (not smooth) movement on low speed, medium speed and steering wheel vibration at 120+
You feel a shaky pulsation on steering wheel when moving

Fixes so far
1. Changed pads and disc rotor (genuine toyota) - 1 week ago
2. 4 brand New tires (Tigar Michelin) 2days ago . Replaced the Michelin the car came with
3. Multiple wheel balancing and alignment done.
4. Caliper changed to ascertain if the former was sticky- 2days ago
5. Wheel hubs changed , because i was hearing a sort of helicopter sound. that solved that.

I don't hear any click on CV joints when turning
All engine mounts have been confirmed okay

What else can I do please....Gazuz and others please help a brother.

We cant afford to do guessing works in the current economic recesion

Oh, i enjoyed my stay in warri, quite cool, i stayed at osubi Airport hotel and suites, i must add that their service at d hotel is zero, from water that isn't running properly, to over inflated room rates compared to all online rates (e.g, jumia travels and hotels.ng), and their reception is so slow to respond to complain or request plus they dont understand hospitality business at all, and finally, the reception and the restaurant/bar keep disturbing with calls to order for food which taste like poo (a waste of money, i ate once at d hotel, friend rice for me & white rice for my partner) . If there is one thing i must commend them for, its the clean room, stable electricity (98%) and amenities available. All in all, its a nice experince,
