Sometime last month, the image of an infinix device that has a fingerprint scanner leaked online. We assumed that the device was going to be the Note 3 because the Infinix Zero line already has a third edition and the Infinix Hot family has Hot 3 so we thought the next infinix device would be the Note 3. Contrary to public thought, the device is actually the Infinix Hot S(according to rumors online) and it is said to be packing a lot of impressive specifications. According to rumors, the Infinix Hot S will have a design similar to the design of the Infinix Zero 2 but this time, the company has decided to go with an all metal body. The major selling point of the Infinix Hot S will be an 8MP front camera with LED flash. Aside from the front camera, other impressive specifications of the Infinix Hot S include; a MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 3GB of RAM, FingerPrint Scanner and VR support. The Infinix Hot S is also said to come preloaded with infinix new custom interface XOS. With these incredible specifications, the only thing I can is "So far so good". Source Naijatechs.com

Ligxy:\ it works fine on my phone now..guess it was a one-time glitch you can try changing your port and proxy...try leaving it blank, if that doesn't work, try using 127.0.0.1 and 8080 as the proxy and port |
Ligxy:Hmm.... I'll try that... Thanks for the tip |
A few weeks ago when the data plan war was at its peak, MTN launched a midnight plan that gives subscribers 500mb for just N25. This data plan was generally accepted by people that love browsing at night(including me). Fast forward to yesterday, I found out that a new season of a movie that I watch(Orange Is The New Black) had just premiered and I couldn't wait for 12:00am so I could download it using the beloved MTN midnight plan because I didn't want to waste my all-day data plan. The much awaited time reached and I hurriedly subscribed to the midnight plan and it was successfully activated. However to my amazement, nothing was going... Not even ordinary Facebook. I decided to wait for a bit thinking maybe the clock at MTN's HQ was wrong. Ten minutes passed... Nothing One hour later... Nothing Two hours..... Nothing I just gave up jare.....My N25 just wasted like that.. Lol Later in the day, I was talking with a friend that uses the midnight plan on a daily and he said he had been experiencing the same thing for days now. I had already forgotten about this issue until this morning when I saw a message on whatsapp from one of the group members then I realized that this is actually a general issue. Have you used MTN's midnight plan in the past few days, did you experience any hiccups? source - http://www.naijatechs.com/2016/06/mtn-n25-midnight-plan-not-working.html |

The Tecno Camon C9 launched a few days ago and it's full specs was released however the price remained unknown. Just today, I heard that the newly launched Tecno Camon C9 is already available for sale on Konga. It's got create specs, great body and a reasonable price. According to the post on Konga, it comes with a Free flip cover and a T-Band. It goes for N54,999 but you can get it for N52,249 when you use KongaPay. The price of the Tecno Camon C9 may reduce or increase with time. http://www.naijatechs.com/2016/06/tecno-camon-c9-price-on-konga.html

A couple of months back, Samsung launched its 2016 flagship smartphones; the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Last month, Samsung launched the Injustice Edition of the Galaxy S7 Edge. Although there was no change in the specs of the Injustice edition (except for a few customization to the UI), the design was modified to an extent. The injustice(batman) edition has two colors in it’s design; Black and Gold. Other form of its design looks pretty much same. During the launching, Samsung shared information about the phone, Samsung also stated that a Gear VR will be included in every pack of the Injustice edition. Pricing of the batman-themed Samsung S7 Edge is gradually surfacing online and they are overly expensive! In Russia, the regular Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge sells for around $770. However, the Injustice edition of same Galaxy S7 Edge goes for around $1,250. In Indonesia, pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Injustice edition are currently being taken and it costs a little under $1,140. Even though the Samsung S7 Edge Injustice Edition comes with a Gear VR, the price difference is quite too much owing to the fact that a gear VR costs just $99.99. OTG is short for On-The-Go. It is a standard that allows devices to talk(connect) to one another. OTG is a simple that can do a lot of amazing things but a lot of people have not even heard about it, some have heard about it but don't know what it is or what it does. In this post, I'll be listing a few cool stuffs you can do with a USB OTG cable. Connecting A Game Pad To An Android Device For a hardcore gamer, playing games on an android screen just won't be good enough. However with the use of an OTG cable, you can easily connect your game pad to your android phone and get the same gaming experience as on a Playstation or Xbox. Connecting A Mouse To Your Android Phone With the aid of an OTG cable you can connect a mouse to your android device. When a mouse is connected to your Android using a USB OTG cable, a mouse pointer appears on the screen allowing you to click to select and open items on the screen. The touch screen continues to function as normal even when a mouse is connected. Sharing Battery Charge Between Two Devices This days, we see devices with extra large battery capacities like the oukitel K10000 with 10,000mah or Tecno L8 with 5050mah. All that battery is too much to use alone, with OTG you can share some of that battery with friends and families... Enemies too just to make them jealous.. Lol To share battery charge between two phones, all you need is an OTG cable and a regular charger cable. When you have everything ready, connect the charger cable to one of the phones and connect the OTG cable to the other phone. Attach the two cables together, the phone with a smaller charge level will start to charge. The charging will continue until the batteries of both phones has almost the same level of charge. However you can stop the charging anytime by disconnecting the cables. Connecting A Modem To Your Phone/Tablet People who have WiFi only tablets or devices without 3G support might need to use 3G Modem with their Android device to get something downloaded quickly when their broadband is too slow or down. This can be done using an Android app called PPP Widget. Just as the name suggests, it is a widget, not an app. It is available for free in the Play Store. You can download it to your device from here. Superfast File Transfer Between Two Devices There are various methods of transferring files between devices like Bluetooth, Hot Knot, Xender/flash share etc. However there are often complications when using some of these methods. One of safest ways to share files between two Android devices is sharing it via OTG. You can make a direct connection between the two Android phones/tablets and transfer files between Android via USB OTG. Connecting A Keyboard To Your Android Device A USB keyboard can be connected to your Android Device using a USB OTG cable, touch inside a text input area to start typing using the keyboard. The on-screen keyboard is hidden when a physical keyboard is connected. Some of the key combinations that perform actions on Windows also function on a phone/tablet, in most apps. For example, you can Cut using (Ctrl + X), Copy using (Ctrl + C), and Paste using (Ctrl + V) on your keyboard. Connecting A Flash Drive To Your Android Device Certain devices like the S6 and S6 edge do not support SD card instead they come with internal storage ranging from 16GB to 128GB. So when your storage is full you have no choice but to start deleting older files to collect new ones. However by connecting a flash drive to your Android device, you get more storage space at your disposal. These are some of the coolest uses of an OTG cable. You can get an OTG Cable at stores or on Konga/Jumia from N500. http://www.naijatechs.com/2016/06/Uses-of-usb-otg-cable.html

In one of my most recent posts, I told you guys that Innjoo was planning on releasing new smartphones soon. It seems one of these devices will be the Innjoo Halo Plus which is an improved version of the Innjoo Halo which was launched last year. The Innjoo Halo Plus comes with; 1GB RAM 16GB ROM 3600mah Battery 5.5 inch display Android Lollipop 5.1 with smart gestures Quad-core processor. Sadly, I don't really know much about this device, that's all I could get. However, I promise to keep you informed if I get more info. From the little I could squeeze out, I could only spot two improvements in the Innjoo Halo Plus which is the battery(from 3200 to 3600mah) and the screen size (from 5 inch to 5.5inch). Well, I think I love the design of the Innjoo Halo Plus especially the black thingy at the back, it gives it a Nexus 6P feel. dy4life:It's probably a problem with your phone's setting.. Cos I download with it.....matter of fact I'm downloading game of thrones ryy now |
Why must people complain about everything that MTN does? I see people complaining that it zaps or it ends before the allotted time... You get 500mb for #25 then you decide to download a full length HD movie, then it stops working and you start complaining that it zaps or it finishes before time.. I have been using this particular plan EVERYDAY for the past 1 week and I have had no cause to complain... |
temitimx19:You subscribe MIDNIGHT plan in the MORNING?? |
The 1GB for N500 MTN data plan has been available for a while now, I would have posted it here but it skipped my mind. However, in a recent post where I talked about the new MTN pulse video, someone asked how to activate it. I'll go straight to the point on this, to activate the 1GB for N500 data plan, all you have to do is; Migrate to MTN pulse by dialing *406*1#, you are already on MTN pulse, skip to the next step. Recharge your phone with N500. Dial *406*2# to activate the plan. It is valid for 7 days. That's all http://www.naijatechs.com/2016/05/how-to-get-1gb-for-n500-on-mtn-pulse.html |
