Assa is my community, ANOH should do the needful...give room for Assa Engineers to be part of this project not by selecting just few, we the youths are doing our best to remain peaceful but with they way Seplat, Shell and ANOH are treating Assa community and youths, I pray it should not get ugly. We can't fold our arms and watch non-indigenes take over 80% of jobs.

Assa community is one of the major oil and gas bearing communities in Ohaji-Egbema LGA of Imo State, but in this community things you can find are abandoned projects by NDDC, from Electrification to Town Hall all abandoned.

Nigeria House of Representative Committee on Niger Delta Affairs can tour Ohaji communities to see things for themselves, right from Obitti, Awarra, Assa to Obile communities there's no presence of governance, no basic amenities, these communities have not seen the presence of Electricity since the creation of Earth and they are bearing communities that made Imo State to be Oil bearing state. This is injustice and it's unfair the way my people are being treated.
