If you cannot call for the disintegration of Nigeria based on your logic of pre-existing borders, then you have no bases to do the same with Biafra. Call out the fraud that made you Nigerian first then you can talk about Biafra that is yet to exist.

You have a brain, why not use it? Kanu was not told by the courts not to talk to journalists. He was told not to grant interviews. If talking to a journalst means granting interview, then it means that someone like Seun Okinbaloye of Channelstv is interviewing his mother any time he talks to her.

My father was a Biafran soldier. He told me that shortage of ammunition was always a problem with the Biafran Army, so they became inventive. There was a sort of wooden spindle Biafran Soldiers carried. Whenever this spindle was waved, it made the sound of a machine gun going off. So when Biafran Soldiers faced the Nigerian Army, the Biafran soldiers would wave the spindles in their trenches, giving the impression that they had more ammunition than they actually did. This gave them time to either strategise, retreat or flank the enemy.


With the limitless ammunition the Nigerian Army had compared to the Biafran Soldier, you would think that the Nigerian Army would have crushed Biafra much earlier. What the Nigerian Soldiers did not have was the will and determination of the Biafran Soldier. Biafran soldiers, against all odds, fought with little or nothing for 3 long years and ended up killing far more Nigerian Soldiers than they did to Biafran Soldiers.

Had Biafran Soldiers had a quarter of the arms and ammunition the Nigerians had, the Republic of Biafra would have been standing today.

It is sheer testament to the courage, bravery and determination Biafran Soldier to have fought a far more superior, better equiped, better financed Army but held their own for 3 years.

I salute them for their courage. For me, they are heroes. The only reason Biafran Soldiers are not appreciated is because we still have 'one Nigeria'. Whenever Biafra is achieved, and the story of the Biafran soldier is told, generations of younger Biafrans will marvel at the determination of these men and eternally honour them.

Technically, the highest ranking officer in Nigeria is Buhari. Many Nigerians dont know this but the president of Nigeria or whoever hold the title of 'commander in chief of the armed forces' holds the rank of Field Marshal or 5 star general.

Buhari is a 5 star General while the Chief of defence staff is a 4 star General

I think that a lot of people are assuming that if there is ever a Niger Delta Republic, it will be the present South South geopolitical zone. Not true

A referendum will have to be held first as it will be a cardinal sin to lump more than 40 tribes in a new country without asking them were they want to belong. It could be tbat some of these tribes want to stay in Nigeria, it could be that some of these tribes are comfortable to be with Igbos in Biafra. What if the the Igbos/Igboids of Delta and Rivers state such as Ikwerre decide that they prefare to be with their Igbo kith and kin in Biafra rather be in with complete strangers in Nigeria or Niger Delta Republic?

Biafran sapratists have always put the idea of a referendum to allow everyone choose their destination. Why would the same Biafrans now start fighting those who have decided to go a different direction?

Nobody knows the composition of a Niger Delta Republic because know one knows what the individual tribes in Southern Nigeria would rather go for.

Fellow Igbos, I initially commented on this thread just to answer something I thought was an innocent question, who wawa's are? They are simply people who speak the wawa dialect of Igbo. There are the 'Ijekebes' mostly spoken around the Onitsha area. Even in Asaba, we have the 'diokpas'.

There is no language, be it Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo that is uniform. They all have dialects and sometimes, a group of people can be refered to, by the dialect they speak.

There are still many Igbos who when they are out and about, will speak normal central Igbo, but when they get home, will start speaking with their immidiate family in their native Igbo dialect. Most Igbos can still speak their native dialect, so what is the big deal?

So please me fellow Igbos, disregard this thread that was resurrected by an Afonja agent of division called Nonsobaba (he is probably the one who started it with another monika) so that his fellow Afonjas can carry on with it.
