Don't mind them my brother.

I was in church yesterday and the prayer point was appalling to say the least. Imagine the pastor saying that "anyone that must be demoted for you to succeed or that must be removed for you to be promoted, let it happen in Jesus name". Isn't Jesus supposed to be fair? So Jesus will remove a hardworking person from the position he prolly got by merit just to promote a Lazy christian that decides to " pray" his way to the top? It was very annoying and I just shook my head as many ignorant Christians around me prayed like their life depended on it.
when anything they cant fathom happens they think its spiritual. imagine a mech engineering student telling me that airplane technology is pure witchcraft. that day, I wept in my heart for Africa. I can write a 60 page journal on the topic "Religion has Done More Harm than Good to Africa"...

I am a christian too but I have observed that many Christians don't think. They wear the toga of religion as an excuse not to exercise their mental faculties.

Those people may have been saved had he entered or the driver may have driven more carefully with him in it. Also, those that died may also have been practising Christians as well.

Now, in a saner society, investigations would've been carried out to reveal the cause of the accident so that it can be forestalled in the future but here, we choose to thank God and move on instead of joining hands to build our country. I'm not a spoilsport but what's the guarantee he will survive the next one?
lol my guy. I only attended church once last year because of the mentality of Christians. how can someone die in the same car you are in and you are saying God saved you. don't God love the other person that died? coincidences happen always, if the guy wasn't delayed at the atm point, there are chances that they would have missed the circumstances that led to the accident.

But look at it this way, if you have entered without using ATM, you might have saved that second the accident happened there by saving those that died in it because the bus might have moved earlier then saving the moment of the accident.
I like rolling with people like you. you smart. life is all about luck, probability and coincidences.
Foreign AffairsRe: Donald Trump: If Iran Wants A Fight That Will Be The Official End Of Iran by kirchofff(m): 9:33am On May 20, 2019
Efewestern:
You are probable ignorant about international politics, or should I say you know nothing about the Persians. No doubts Iran can't even dare confront the US unprovoked, that will be their end, but US will find it extremely difficult to defeat Iran in their soil, due to terrain, how determined the Persians are, allies in the region, etc.

Wars are not only won due to Sophisticated weapons, if not Isreal wouldn't have been defeated by rag tag Hezbollah militias, US wouldn't have been defeated by ill equipped Vietnam military, Saudi Arabia would have for a long time won the crisis in Yemen, etc.

Iran is threading with care, and they know they don't match the US, but if US dare attack her, they will fight US with all they have, The Persians fought Iraq will little international support even when Saddam Hussein was being supported by the entire western world, Iran back then had few weapons and depended largely on Foreign countries for military hardwares, yet they were able to push Iraq out of Iran and fought like never before, in fact they changed the objective of the war and was about encroaching Iraq. Iran fought to keep its sovereignty with tooth and nail even when Iraq was using chemical weapons on them.

Now fast forward to 2019, Iran has so many affiliated militias in Lebanon (Hezbollah, strongest in the world, that even the almighty Isreal would think twice before stealing Lebanese land), Houthi Shia groups (Yemen militias kicking Saudi ass in Yemen), Syria military (If not for Iran, The rebels would have defeated Bashar al-Assad), Iraq (Iraq is now an ally of Iran). That's not all, Iran has a homegrown military industry, they produce their own rockets, guns, submarines, aircraft (thou inferior), sophisticated missiles, etc, now tell me how you intend defeating a country such as this with ease? or you think Iran is Libya?

US knows this and they know invading Iran unprovoked will end their influence in the region, this war won't only end in Iran, it will affect all Middle East countries including Saudi Arabia and Isreal, Just an order from Iran and see how Hezbollah unleash their madness.

US is powerful, but wars are not always won by that. a war with Iran isnt what we should be praying for, as millions will perish. God heal the Middle East.

How low have we sunk as a nation? I felt so sad and worried about the future of Nigeria when i saw shameless people openly celebrating the release of vagabonds like Zlatan and his demented friends sympathetic to fraud. Are you surprised as to why visa applications and other foreign opportunities keeps getting harder for the average Nigerian because of the activities of these lazy bones? You think the foreign governments are not monitoring your cyberspace to see how morally deficient the country's youth has become? To think Davido is an ambassador to top business brands is a mystery to sane minds with his open support for fraud despite working hard to get to where he is. A country where people tag Anti-fraud proponents like me a hater, jealousy and enemy of progress is sitting on a time bomb. Why do we arrest armed robbers, rapists, kidnappers and other criminals? They also have justification for their crimes just like you people see nothing wrong with fraud. You all keep blaming the politicians in Abuja for stealing forgetting that amongst this present generation are future politicians who will take over from the present crop. Have you forgotten that a leader is a reflection of his/her followers and society at large? What will you expect from someone like Davido or Naira marley if they suddenly finds themselves within the corridors of power in future? Will a Davido who openly supports yahoo boys see anything wrong in looting the treasury? Yet you people dream of a Nigeria with 24/7 power, infrastructures and other good things of life like other sane countries but you keep supporting people short changing the system.

You chastise EFCC for arresting Yahoo boys instead of corrupt politicians who stole the wealth of the country. EFCC goes after a corrupt politician you people scream witch hunt of opposition. You turn prosecution into partisanship defending the oppressors while you take solace in fraud. It's really sad to see how daft the present generation is and the most worrisome is that there is no end in sight.

It shall never be well with everyone who supports and benefits from fraud sad
baba thanks for this piece

Gbam.
Nigerian educational system is just cram and pass, and then obtain paper qualification. Most don't even understand how what they crammed apply to real world situation.
Although I studied architecture, I have a very curious mind. I must know how things work. That's why I was never religious. I broke our TV when I was young just to know how TVs work. And I did not stop until I learn R-C oscillator circuits, modulation and demodulation of radio frequency signals, etc.
I have asked a group of graduates to explan the real meaning of sin30 and WHY it is 0.5. Non was able to answer correctly. Everyone knows sin30 is 0.5, but how many graduates and even post graduates know why?
My brother, I've learned a lot of things on YouTube with just simple illustrations than I've learned my entire life as an electrical engineering student. Our educational system is messed up and needs a quick intervention. Imagine a mechanical engineering student telling me that an airplane works with Voodoo, a mech engineering student doesn't understand simple aerodynamics. I give up bro.

Nobody is suppose to be teaching you what theory is used for what practical. Reasons being:
There are potentially thousands of practical application of that same theory in various scenarios.
The school or lecturer will end up being biased or promoting some brands. For example a mechanical engr lecturer trying to illustrate something on Toyota vehicle or product may be seen as promoting Toyota at the expense of Kia, Nissan and Honda. Also not that brands tend to use same principles or theories in varying ways and that is what defines their products or brands. Think back to older Volvo models that are always noisy and fuel-efficient in a short time.
You don't seem to get my point. All I'm trying to say is that, teaching the real life application can make the students have increased passion for the course. I have a lot of friends who schooled abroad. The difference is clear. How can you teach topic like calculus, projectile etc and the students only know the calculations, but don't know how it can practically solve a real life problem. The OP is 100percent valid.

For someone who has put in over fifteen years practicing core engineering design and applied mathematical principles in solving a vast array of structural statics, dynamics ,impusive and geotechnic engineering problems, I completely disagree with the notion as presented in the opening remarks. I was trained in nigeria and Iv applied all I was taught as an undergraduate in the design of bridges, water retaining structures, slope stabilization, understanding of soil consolidation beneath foundations of high rise structures, modelling of finite elements in the undstanding of soil particle and pile interactions in STAAD spring selections etc iv used newton's finite divided difference methods in topographic survey to predict ground elevation on non-chainage points where i was to situate and design foundations for piperacks for proper levelling, iv thoroghly employed calculus in the calulation and simulation of irregular waves and current loads on shore protection and berthing structures by numerical idealization, applied lagrange interpolation polynomial methods in the design of Larssen sheet piles in order to determine the min depth of pile penetration for stability beneath proposed dredged points, applied bernouli's equations severally and various expressions for head losses in steady state pipeline flow on projects to determine pressure drops and pump sizing requirements, reynold's number for hydrocarbon fluid composition etc. The list is ENDLESS...I was trained in nigeria and by nigerian lecturers and there are brilliant nigerians trained in nigeria as well. What is lacking is the exposure and the inability of most lecturers to solve practical problems on one hand and bridge this glaring gap during lectures making it difficult for the students to see a correlation. But these are the same mathematical and engineering principles the russians and asians used and are using in the design of complicated weapon systems. The Iranians are following suit as iv interfaced with a number of them on projects. Fields such as partial differential equations and ordinary differential equations are EXTENSIVELY deployed in structural and mechanical engineering in the explanation of the behavior of sytems under static or dynamic.loading. flow tru soils, one dimensional consolidation and settlement prediction of soil strata, deflection of structural elements, buckling analysis and determination of effective lengths in steel designs etc are all mathematical and highly applicable in the field of engineering.
bro, I think you just mentioned what the problem is. They don't teach how theories can solve real life problems which is very important. It was recently I knew that differencial calculus is what is used to calculate how an airplane speed is reduced gradually in order not to cause a shock inside of the plane. Engineering students in Nigeria don't know stuffs like that and it's very bad.

Its like pouring water to a basket, the moment you finish exam, everything is gone in your head..
An average graduate does not remember anything, what is the point of learning if you are going to forget it all at the end of the day?
People that think like you are Nigerian problem.
There is need to reform the educational system in nigeria..
We are not even talking about making innovation..
Lets just be copying what developed nation are doing.. let us be manufacturing substandard phones, tv and all. One day we will get there..just like china did.

There is need for reformation. How can anyone defend the old and outdated stuffs we learn in Nigerian universities.....

You are part of Nigerias problem. Honestly
Hello bro, Honestly you connect with me. I understand you 100percent. How can we talk on whatsapp please?

The year 2018 was awesome all through out. First of all, i made a lot through blogging.. Then around mid, i started 2 anonymous blogs that are doing pretty great, greater than my main blog sef which has suffered in the hands of copy and paste bloggers.

From then, i vowed never to expose my blogs again.. Better for them to remain anonymous. Once people look up to you and your blog, they feel like copying everything about your blog. The theme, niche, everything! They end up copying your articles too lol...

Most especially, I've helped people start their blog.. Although it was damn stressful, but it paid off cause i feel happy when they succeed. I didn't charge them.. It was totally free! I don't do it because i love them, it makes me feel good.. That's selfish tho cheesy

Apart from the online world, i have a perfume business and it has been more income.. Putting it online was the best decision ever.. I made a lot..

I wanted to try binary option, but it flopped and i dumped it lol.. More like gambling.. You have to be really lucky to make some cash there.

I can't expose the total earnings for the year 2018, just know that it was more than I anticipated.

I hope this inspires someone.

MODIFIED!

Currently have a tech blog that i developed from scratch, and it has great potentials. I poured my heart into its creation, like seriously. I developed it for a client but unfortunately, she changed her mind due to the nature of her job. it's up for sale and very much affordable! DM me
