This is on point. Never travel with tourist visa. You will only be shortchanging you destiny. Write standard tests, I mean GRE and TOEFL/IELTS. Dont like your GPA borthers you much with a good score in those exams you are already on your way to funded graduate program in the the state and you won't regret in some few years to come on the decision you took. Once again, dont shortchange your destiny by going abroad to move on tourist visa. You have already gotten a degree go for graduate study and you see funding after upping your game my writing standard test. All the best in your future pursuit

The reason why a lot of people find it difficult to truly settle abroad is that they came with the wrong intentions. You get a tourist visa, then purposefully fall out of status and start running helter-skelter because you can't rest. Why would you want to do that to yourself?

Alternatively, you can get a study visa if you put your mind to it, become a professional and the country will be willing to offer you a place to stay. There are various options available for that. You can go through plenty of scholarships available and from there sort yourself. You just need to be ready for the opportunity. Let your sponsor give you the funds or hustle it, write standardized tests, make Google your friend and you will surely see something that fits.

It depend on the route you planned to move to the state, but for a young person I think travelling to the state for you graduate degree would be your best bet...Deoending on you undergraduate, if is STEM related you can easily get funded

The biggest mistake your sister will make is if she gets pregnant for that man. The man most likely has a foreign based family and he's looking for someone to give birth to home based kids to him. You're so fixated on having a sister abroad that you can't see this. Has he said anything about going to registry to get married legally? Or you think by paying for dowry is enough to start processing her travel documents. Your sister is street smart, she knows most of these foreign based men are phony. You are correct! Staying abroad does not mean you would be better off than people in Nigeria. Many people that stays aboard end up being an average rich individuals. Besides, I dont see anything special in traveling abroad ones you are a degree holder...

don't fret yourself lad , I am not sure ices will evaluate OND,HND as 2ormore with one as 3yrs. However , before you use them ,ensure you are absolutely certain that they will. as for WES, they are your friend's best bet. if the reason for not using WES is as a result of age discrepancy between WAEC and other qualifications. you might want to ask out here, if are solutions for that.

The core engineering profession doesn't require years of experience just that you won't be able to claim points for it, Google EA the assessing body for engineers, download their booklet and you will understand better. Personally I see it as a waste of time and money for someone that study civil engineering or any building/construction related course aside architect and agricultural related course to come here through study because some state and a lot of regional areas are sponsoring these professions.

Ielts: December 2, 2018.

My babe got better IELTS scores, so we decided she should be the PA. Getting her ECA done was another hurdle on its own. Finally, it was ready and into the pool we went.

ITA: July 25, 2018.
AOR: August 18, 2018.
MEP/BIL: September 18, 2018.
ADR(RPRF): September 26, 2018.

The excitement no be here. We believed we were among the few who get PPR in less than 2 months. We no know say our village people don Dey wear their trainers.

We called, raised CSE, ordered gcms. Everything looked okay, so we couldn’t understand the reason for the delay. Sometimes we got nice agents and other times we got agents that didn’t want to be disturbed. The last avant we spoke to told us to call back by June 2019.

So we decided to chill. As it looked like nothing we did would speed up our processing. We also consoled ourselves with the knowledge that we were not alone in this predicament.

To claim partner's point, your spouse's occupation must be on the same list as the occupation you choose. If your husband's occupation is not on the list, then you can't claim partner's point. Partner's point is only necessary to boost your points and not a compulsory requirement.

You need to read the thread, follow the instructions to understand the process. You can apply for any of the three visas depending on the points you get. If you can get 65 points on your own, 189 is the best option with 190 as a back up.

Let me recommend something.

For listening, when you pick up a practise, do it to the best of your ability and mark it. After marking it, go back to the questions and listen again to take note of where you were wrong. The next day,
or after a few days, go back to the same practise question and do it again. See if you are able to hear answers you got wrong the last time.
Repeat this process and see if your scores will improve.

Note: Keep track of all your practise scores to know if there's improvement or not.

Thanks. I really appreciate. I plan to register in some months time after much practice. My previous exams I did not involve in much practice... even when I practice now I still don’t know why I miss out the answers while listening to the audio. Also, I notice major problem on the 3rd and the 4th sessions of the listening test especially the multiply choice questions. On the reading, I do have problem with matching headings and it takes me a lot of time getting main idea of paragraphs. Please what can be my best way to solve this problems

My 2cents: Wait! Don’t rush into another attempt just yet. While waiting,PAUSE the practice and get more comfortable with the English language in its entirety instead. By this I mean,download and listen to podcasts on topics you love, read any E or print materials on what you love, chat with folks in proper English etc. These will consciously/unconsciously enrich your vocabulary,help you comprehend speeches better as you hear and then you proceed to practice/simulate exam conditions. Truth is you may find practice tests boring and tiresome most times. Summary: Try a new strategy!

Study as much as your schedule allows.
At the very minimum, ensure you complete two full listening tests and two reading tests everyday. Those seem to be your weaker modules.
Continue to practice your writing and speaking as well.

Please, I seriously have challenge with IELTS and dont know what to do. Several attempt for the exam and my score seems not to make any difference. First attempt LRSW: 5.5,5,6.5,6.5.
