Is not just picking "a wife". The stats speaks otherwise, so is a trend and therefore, social, cultural, & political as well. My attention is focus on the social/cultural aspect of this trend so far. I will eventually explain to your dumb illiterate mind the devastating economic outcome of this trend to your tribe (massive). Keep fucking/worshipping Igbo women..... please don't stop.

Mrs chineye achuba was a beauty queen ,she is married to akinlade abdulkabir adekunle of APM.

APM is the party amosun candidate went to contest for the governorship election in Ogun state.

Mrs chineye achuba is happily married to honorable akinlade adekunle of APM.

this means we might see an Igbo first lady of Ogun state, after ondo state.
Yoruba culture worshipping Igbo culture, expressed, through the worshipping of Igbo women...... but
also seeking to wipe out Igbo political/economic culture and expect Igbos not to 'beat their chest" or extrapolate.

PoliticsRe: "The North Never Told Us They Do Not Like Suffering And Poverty" - Fani Kayode by knowledgeable: 11:36pm On Feb 25, 2019
FrMbaka:
Some are cut out for the suffering and do not care about it. The North never told us they do not like suffering and poverty.

All they want is power. I spoke to a Hausa Fulani friend of mine last night who spoke what he described as some truths to me.

He said you Igbos have commerce and industry. Your people travel all over the world, many send money back to their parents and their communities, from their diasporan jobs.

The South West has commerce also, education, thriving airports and Seaports.

The Middle belt has agriculture and Food, and we accommodate them by giving them jobs.

So we must leave power to them in the North. That Power, is all they have to survive on. That whether you guys leave power for us or not, we have designed a foolproof means to take power and hold on to it till 2031. He said that power to the North is not a desire or want, but a genuine need for the survival of the Northerner. That in the next 48hrs, I will see what will happen, and how easily Buhari will be declared winner. I said impossible. He said just watch.

He told me that the North suffered while Obasanjo and Jonathan were in power. He said OBJ retired all their Generals. OBJ gave the ministry of Finance to a Southerner for the first time, that Jonathan did same. That if not for El Rufai and Ribadu putting their foot down in 2007, that Obasanjo was almost going to hand power over to a Southerner in the name of Peter Odili. He said that that singular move by El Rufai and Ribadu will make one of them President after Buhari in 2023.

He said the North will never go back to playing second fiddle. Their experience from 1999 to 2015 is not one they will forget in a while. That the North loves Buhari, because he gives all his appointments to Northerners. That whenever a northerner is in charge of a sector, they recruit and promote northerners, and it's effects last for more than 20yrs, and help their people survive, which is why they love and admire Buhari's approach to appointments.

He went on to say that Atiku is from an unrecognized Adamawa State and is almost a Kanuri. That him and his restructuring agenda will never be allowed to rule. That he knows it, and all the North know it, which is why the elections in the North are peaceful and there is no fighting, thuggery and killing. That the North know that Atiku's policies will advance the South and send the North into deep poverty, not on purpose, but by sharing the power, so they will not let him on board. That PDP shot themselves in the foot by choosing Atiku. A man from the Northwest, Tambuwal or Kwankwaso would have done it, and kept power in the North for them, but Atiku is far too exposed.

He even went as far as telling me that the south should forget 2023, and 2027. That the North have agreed that the south will not have power again till 2031, at the earliest and so it shall be. By which time they will have Fulani emirates in cattle colonies in Ebonyi, Oyo and Edo State, whether we like it or not.

They have told Ribadu and El Rufai to warm up, that it will be one of them in 2023, most likely the former, who is being kept away from controversy.

I asked what about Tinubu and Osinbajo. He laughed louder than ever. He described Tinubu as the biggest southern fool alive. He said they in the North were surprised that he would be fighting for Buhari's second term, after all Buhari did to him in his first four year term. He had none of his ministerial appointments approved and was shut completely out. All it took was Buhari attending his birthday party for his heart to melt. His VP was also shut out and is continously disgraced in Aso Rock. The only VP in the history of Nigeria that cannot see the president without going through an administrative staff, the chief of Staff, Abba Kyari. He said they do not trust Osinbajo, hence keeping him out of sensitive meetings, and that he will never be President, except he is ready to wait for 2031, but he is not their type.

He said the game of divide and rule will be perfected after 29th of May, as they seek to reduce Tinubu and prop up the likes of Fashola and a few others from the South West. He said by the time they finish with Tinubu, he will either go to jail or leave the party to run under another party platform, but they do not care.

I said, so you really think Atiku will lose this election. He said yes, that the North are not fighting. They have chosen, and Atiku better go get back his monies from the Generals that he bribed to make him the concensus candidate of PDP, yet failed to consult them when choosing a VP.

I thanked him and said that Atiku will be the next president of Nigeria and all their evil plans will be destroyed. Let us all pray for Atiku and Obi's victory. We have voted. All we have to do now is protect our votes and pray. If only Southerners would listen and Unite, the North would not have just evil plans against us.

This is *NOT* a modern democratic system of government that is capable of transforming Nigeria into a modern society that this hausa-northner is talking about o. He is talking of a system of government not based on any system at all, and an average Yoruba man are in corhort. Is a system that will ensure permanent anarchy, instability, killings, poverty, backwardness, tribalism, nepotism etc.

A permanent dysfunctional system of government.

sogodihno:
A clarion call to the Yoruba Nation

Less than 48 hours to the National election, it is germane that the yoruba nations be aware of aftermath of our decision on Saturday, let me start by saying PDP is not for us, PDP has always marginalize yoruba.

Let me start from inception of democracy in 1999, OBJ was never Yoruba choice it was falae, it is the northern leaders that want OBJ, OBJ has never for once fail to show his disdain to the yoruba agenda, the yoruba leaders met with him to honour Abiola and name June 12 as democracy day, he never did, it is a stranger Buhari that did it for us after more than 25 years. OBJ in his power withhold the allocation of Lagos, just because of political difference.

After OBJ was Yaradua, I have nothing to say about him, because of his short reign, let me move to his successor Jonathan, Jonathan marginalise Yorubas, it was so much that the yoruba elders went to complain yet he didn't bulge, despite the huge failure of Jonathan the Igbos still support him because they felt they have no choice, they didn't Vote for Buhari. Let me remind us some of the calamity that befell Jonathan administration because I know most of us have forgotten,
* Boko haram was having a field day in Borno states, more than 17 local government was being controlled by Book haram.
*Nigeria has the highest oil sale under Jonathan, $110 per barrel yet the Otuoke man borrow to pay salary in that same years, why? because people like Dasuki, Diezani is looting everything.
*Several bomb blast in Abuja the nation capita.
*When PMB became the president he has to bail over 27 States out that couldn't pay salary under Jonathan Administration
*Jonathan support looting, he did say "Stealing is not corruption" on national TV.
*Our foreign reserve is almost empty prior to handing over of Jonathan.
*Job was so scarce that many people got stampede during application for immigration service under Jonathan.

With the above blunders and incompetency the Igbo still vote for him, and praise him as their hero.

PDP chairman by means of rotation is suppose to be from the west but Wike the stakeholder of PDP them hijacked it and give it to Secondus his kinsmen, the vice presidential candidacy was given to Obi a tribal Bigot that has openly showed his disdain for Yorubas by calling Yorubas "Amala and ewedu" people, he was saying this morning that Igbos are more Nigeria than others, this are the same people that are agitating for Biafra o, but yet the tribal bigot say they are more Nigeria than others.

I see Obi as a man going for revenge at others apart from Igbo, if he can be saying this at the eve of the election, then it is sure he is not hiding his intention.

Yorubas if Atiku and Obi becomes your President and VP, I can assure u that the Lagos-ibadan railway has come to an end, Atiku will want to start his own project and it is obvious who will benefit most from this projects, the east. Do u think that the fact that the igbo man are now licking Hasua- Fulani yansh they hate so much and have to drop their Biafra agitation is for nothing? Even thier director Kanu is now Atikulating.

Our 6 Governors are all APC, we dont have stake in PDP, APC has done for us what PDP couldn't do in 16 years, and why we a sane Yoruba man abandon our professor Osinbajo for Atiku and Obigotry, do u know the reason why PDP didn't campaign so much in Southwest because they know some unreasonable fellows will always vote them and because they dont have plans for us.

If Atiku and Obi enter, Yorubas dont cry marginalization o, when the work going-on on Lagos-ibadan railway stopped dont cry.

To be fore warned, is to be fore harmed.

Odua A gbe a o.
What you called benefits from the APC government have being overtaken by extreme poverty in the land, under the APC government. Nigeria is the capital of extreme poverty in the world, and the SW have under Buhari have become the second extreme capital of poverty in Nigeria... possibly in the world as well. Buhari from his past antecedent has always being anti-infrastructural developments in the SW, because SW is not fully Sharia compliance yet.

From the social angle, Yorubas/Igbos (no hausa-fulani) cooperation in entertainment sphere have projected Nigeria/Africa into the world stage......and mind you, those 'magical' progress are not Sharia compliance either. Buhari will kill those progress, if he gets the opportunity.(the only reason he hasn't move against it is because of the current political support his getting from SW via Tinubu). The inter-marriages, competitive but friendly relationships between Yorubas and Igbos etc in Lagos (SW generally) are some of the factors molding Lagos and indeed the rest of Africa into this new Urban culture that is taking shape and not this your nonsense destructive Tinubu inspired political Union with the hausa-fulani which have only produced rancorous atmosphere filled with divisions, killings, instabilities, chaos, anarchy, poverty, backwardness, illiteracy, insecurities, corruption, underdevelopment, infractural decay, bokoharam, fulani herdsmen, assassinations, migration/death in the Mediterranean Sea, prostitution of Nigerian women all over the world, drug trafficking by young Nigerians, increase in ritual using human parts, drop in life span of Nigerians, highest death rate in the world from road accidents, nepotistic appointments, hausa-fulani impunitly/ruthlessly dealings with other Nigerians (including you yorubas), spread of Islam, practice of two constitutions(one secular and one Sharia), world most polluted Deltas and environment, human organ harvesting/trading...... should I continue??.

"My Yoruba brothers please choose the light and not the darkness". Obasonjo was part of this darkness ( in fact, he laid the groundwork for some of it), but now in his twilight years he is making a 360 turn for Nigeria and Africa at large. Fani Kayode is a leader of the lights peiercing the darkness. So so many Yorubas are leading the charge to destroy this all engulfing darkness.

The Atiku angle doesn't require Sharia compliance, is more inclusive (wives from hausa-fulani, Yoruba Igbo etc) and will be rancorous free. This is the kind of atmosphere you need for economic take off again. *Am not a PDP member either because they are not that good either.

PoliticsRe: Postponement Of Presidential Election A Coup- Donald Duke by knowledgeable: 4:56pm On Feb 17, 2019
EddieKiing:
The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Presidential Candidate, Mr Donald Etim Duke has described the postponement of the presidential election scheduled for Saturday, February 16th as a coup against Nigeria.

Speaking with newsmen in his resident in Calabar, Duke regretted the postponement, saying that the postponement was a national embarrassment and disgrace.

“The folks have come all over the world to observe and monitor our elections, Nigerians have travelled length and breadth to go and participate in the civic responsibilities, all of the sudden, our so-called Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC) postponed the elections, it is totally unheard of.

“You don’t postpone election like that, not even a week before the elections but four hours. Now, if you are a participant in this election, you have your agents spread throughout the length and breadth of this country, you financially empowered them because they are going to take money for accommodation, feedings and all sort of things, then last minutes, this happened, all that money is wasted, you got to start all over again.

“It is a trick, well scripted and it has been taken to the next level, this trick was to breed the opposition financially, PDP started this nonsense but this government has taken it to the next level, theirs was a week before the election but this guy has taken it to four hours into the election.

“We all know that the government in power has unlimited access to finance but the opposition does not, so by the time you get to election day, the opposition would be exhausted or barely able to go through the process again, they have only one week to raise funds, you are not talking about pittance here, we are talking about millions and billions of naira because we are talking about National elections” he said.

Mr Duke said, “It is impossible for INEC to do this without consultation with government, usually; government can even instigate them to do this for one reason or the other. It is sad, I just imagine, the way the rest of the world will look at us.

“There is nowhere that INEC could postpone the election without collaboration with the federation. The action was an international disgrace, we are a nation so compromised, our sycophancy has taken another form, we don’t speak the truth to power that be” he stated.

He attributed the postponement to the incompetence of the National Chairman, “People have travelled the bad road, security is questionable, all sort of things have happened, yet elections was postponed.

“INEC had four years to conduct election, they know that every four years, they have to conduct election, nothing new, they know this, they started asking for money last year, that is stupid, you waited to the last moment, they have no excuse whatsoever, if they can’t move the materials, there is aeroplane or helicopter, this is 21st century for goodness.

“This is where we find ourselves, regardless how well the election will be conducted, next week, if it happened at all, the result will not be accepted by all, because it has already been contaminated; if those that were smooth were not accepted then imagine what this will be.

On the outburst of Kaduna state governor regarding body bags, Mr Duke said, “Kaduna State Governor’s comment was a loose talk and that should not have come from the State Chief Executive and high ranking member of APC, he is a great friend of mine but he gets too emotional in his speech, he needs to be more cultured when addressing issues of those nature,” he said.

http://dailypost.ng/2019/02/17/postponement-presidential-election-coup-donald-duke/amp/
The raw truth, is that unexpected election cancellation is a crucial vehicle for rigging by incubents. It takes the steam off the first build up momentum towards their loosing the election. Voters aparty (or enthusiasm, resource/financial commitments are halved in the second build up momentum).

... but this 2019 presidential election cancellation roughly 6 to 7 hours to the actual polling has some deep dangerous messages embedded in that action.

1). ... that we are ready for war, and will impunitly/ ruthlessly execute this war like bokoharam since we are bokoharam anyway.

2).... that the international communities should go to hell or in body bags after all, you are in our own tuff and this is our country (America, Britain, france etc comes to mind here. This is the most dangerous to me here because ever since the rise of China whose economy is billed to over take the US economy in few more years and Africa becoming the youngest continent with unimaginable human/natural resources, hence this life and death competition between the West and China, the US will in a speed of light not hesitate to give Nigeria, the Libyan, Syria, Venezuela, Iraqi or Afganistan option or options trust me.).

3)....and to the PDP their supporters, inpoverish Nigerian masses including Obasonjo,.....we can do anything impunitly and nothing happens.

Finally for me, I suggest that unexpected election cancellation should be delt with legislatively. There should be provisions in the constitution that must spell out how/timing of the usage of election date cancellation by INEC whom you & l know is not truely independent.

Samgist:
A former General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church, Prophet Kayode Abiara, has urged Nigerians to see the postponement of the presidential and National Assembly polls as a divine intervention.

Abiara appealed to Nigerians not to blame the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, for the postponement but to see it as an act of God to make Nigeria a better country.
The cleric said this while reacting to the postponement of the elections on Saturday.

He said, “Nigerians must thank God almighty for this situation because God owns Nigeria and God is aware of the cancellation of these elections.

PoliticsRe: Igbo V Yoruba, By Cheta Nwanze by knowledgeable: 5:21pm On Jan 31, 2019
It is not a case of Yoruba VS Igbo or Igbo VS Yoruba, what is at hand is a problem of Yoruba & Hausa VS Igbo.

The early political and military History of Nigeria shows the Igbo have a superiority complex running concurrently with an almost genetic clannish behaviour.

Throughout the early History of Nigeria till now, the Igbos have been known to have never worked within the bounds of ‘partnership’ or respect ‘equality in differences’.

The Igbo wants to hijack your partnership with them and put himself or herself in charge and also discard the equality in differences and wanting things to go his/her way only.

Several important factors in Nigerian history indicate these characteristics of the Igbo:

- The early nationalist movements in Nigeria. Specifically how they brought tribalism into NYM which stalled the advancement of NYM during the period.

- The constitutional conferences before independence which Igbos on several fronts made about themselves rather than let each bloc put in what they preferred for their own region and peoples.

- The development of political parties in Nigeria. NCNC was founded by a Yoruba man. The Igbo man Azikiwe took over, hijacked the party & turned it into an Igbo party. Prior to this, the Igbo formed Igbo union with chapters all over Nigeria which they collapsed into NCNC when Zik took over. This marked start of tribal politics in Nigeria. Yoruba moved out & Awolowo in reaction formed Egbe Omo Oduduwa & eventually, AG.

- The forming of governments at Federal level. Igbo colluded with the North but tried to hijack the government from the North employing several methods. For example with their kin in government they began to flood out en masse to the North especially where they began appointing themselves into the civil service. They disrespected the North and threatened the isolation policy of the Northeen government. This influenced Ahmadu Bello’s recorded speech in an interview. In the West, they did the same thing by appointing themselves above well qualified Westerners, into positions which prompted Sir Ladoke Akintola’s speech that woke all Yoruba sons and daughters at the time to take back their region.

- The Igbo in the constitutional conferences had always wanted Unitary system of government. Their region was backwards and they needed to be able to flood other regions ‘legitimately’ & get a soft landing with jobs and career advancements. They realized they could not do this with the regional government of the day and opted for the 1966 coup where none of their own kin in government was scratched let alone killed but murdered every other person from other regions. This was the point where Igbo ruined their relationship & completely damaged the trust other regions had for them.

- After the coup, the Igbo in the North made music spiting the North, which was publicly played; made posters and printed shirts to taunt the North which were publicly displayed. Of course, they crrated chants mocking how Tafa Balewa was murdered.

- The Igbo had the chance to redeem their image by allowing a more senior army officer of Borno stock to take over but the Igbos in the democratic government of 1966 handed over to Aguiyi Ironsi, an Igbo man. Then came Ironsi who was expected to hand out justice to the coupist, of course, the Igbo clannishness kicked in and he refused. This soured the North and East relationship forever. This also started protection of indicted kinfolks in Nigerian public space today.

- The Igbo who were proponents of Unitary system since pre-independence suddenly had a problem with it. Igbo who previously didn’t have a problem with subverting military ranking system for Ironsi to head the government suddenly had a problem with the same method which produced Gowon. Suddenly the Igbo wanted regionalism & for military ranking to be stuck to in 1967 simply because they were not the one in power and the Unitary was not to their favour.

- In the MKO debacle of 1993. Of course records abound as to how Igbo supported the MKO’s loss of his substantive position as the president elect. Of course, they even had million man march in support of Abacha when he took over. In fact, when Yoruba were locked in a struggle with Abacha/North, the Igbo took sides with Abacha. This made the relationship and trust the Yoruba had with Igbo became sour coupled with the Igbo ills towards Yoruba in the 1960s

- Fastfoward to when Yaradua passed. Goodluck Jonathan could not take up his mandate as the President. He was not only blocked by the North who played hide & seek with Yaradua’s status, the North even played cards towards a re-interpretation of the constitution to keep Jonathan away from assuming the office he deserved. Jonathan’s small Ijaw group went mute, the Igbo as usual all stayed away. Yoruba championed protests that got the attention of the international community & pressured the North into giving into letting Jonathan take up the office due to him - the Igbo did not say a word. The North fell back from Yoruba’s pressure and Jonathan got in. In 2011, the Yoruba gave Jonathan much more votes than Igbos did but of course their clannishness & disrespect for equality kicked in so much that they hijacked the PDP, hijacked Goodluck’s government and made it a Igbo government so much that the one would conclude it was an ‘Igbo Presidency’.

There are more pointers but I’ll leave it at this.

The above goes to show the Igbo are a risky group to work with. It is not just the West that does not want to work with them, the North also avoids them like a plague. In fact, the Igbo kin in the South South stay away from them politically. Inviting these people into a partnership is like opening the door to a swarm of locust, they will eat at everything in their way without respect for the other side.

These facts & characteristic traits of the Igbo from pre-independence abound till this moment.

- They still flood every region trying to dominate by demanding to be voted into offices or for appointments while strictly preventing such in the region.

- They wanted Lagos in the 50s, they wanted Lagos in the Biafra war & still want to have Lagos in 21st century.

- They are still clannish. Look at Goodluck Jonathan’s government.

- They are still sneaky. During Jonathan’s presidency, they loved Nigeria. In fact, a video of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the seccessionist group surfaced on the internet where he was super pro-Nigeria. All of a sudden, they no longer want Nigeria because they’re not in power.

And it goes on & on but I’ll leave it alone.

They can not be worked with, QED.
One power Punch argument that annulled all these false assertions of yours is the Igbos willingness to sacrifice millions of their finest people to separate from you Yorubas/hausa-fulani but to no avail.

From your side, for all your falsely narratives of Igbos, you killed them in millions through genocide and usurp critical infrastructural developments in their region (like international airport/sea port) that could have kept them in their region...and then wonder what the hell are they doing in your region.

From your side, for all your falsely narratives of Igbos, you buried your head in shame and pretend not to understand or see the vindication of Igbos from God Almighty of all the falsely narratives of Igbos in Nigeria history through the actions of bokoharam/fulani herdsmen. The damage, they have done to Nigeria with out your side cocking up even a loosely false narratives on them also established the fact that the Yorubas hatred towards Igbos are spiritual and dimensional and most Igbos understand it and kept quiet and continue to play the politics. Those who understand it and couldn't take it, are in agitation. You don't have political Union with them, but you are neck deep into marriages (at the root of marriage is LOVE) with them, but not the side you have a political union with. How can you explain all these?. Is it love/hate?, Is it hate/envy?. Is it pride from the Igbo side?. What is it?...

Is a debate, not a motivational gathering. You give ur points and oppose your opponent points . Will the other contestants answer questions meant for the incumbent.

Atiku is smarter than all of you. You set a debate and an incumbent was conspicuously missing, then you wanna set Atiku up with other contestants who in the absent of the incumbent will face Atiku and and swallow him with eba. Where on earth is a debate done without an incumbent. I guess is only in Nigeria

Atiku was wise and sensitive. Man saw the trap and walked pass it. You want a debate, bring Buhari let him debate with others.

You want to know what Atiku has for you, go read up his manifesto. Is free to download.

If Atiku disappointed you by avoiding that debate, please locate your PVC and vote for Buhari next month and stop disturbing our ears.

After all, you haven't recovered from the last vote you gave him. Abeg make una shift.

How could anyone with a functional brain true this thread with such lovely and beautiful picture into an avenue to bash Yorubas? Must Yorubas support their preferred candidates? They expect Yorubas to dump Osinbajo for that puppy call Obi?

Isn't that Madness? angry

They should support who they like while Yorubas support who they like. Simple.
Igbos understand this Country more than yorubas period.

Since this election like all the past elections and mis governance of this country is based on Tribe/religion/region and nothing for Nigeria's progress , fairness, justice, equity & inclusiveness and you expect Igbos to respect your choice on who you like under the same condition that have brought genocide to them, and still no restructuring or Biafra, with your region monopoly on international airport/Seaports, produced presidents in the past........ Igbos have the moral high ground to see with suspicion any choice by the Yorubas to entrench the status quo that is "the Nigeria tragedy". Truthfully, Buhari represent everything that is wrong with Nigeria and the Yorubas are at home with it. Respect the Igbo's choice for self determination.

I have said it that Yorubas are beginning to wise up to the reality of Nigeria. It won't end well for the SS and SE when we decide to begin taking no prisoners as is currently happening. Yoruba thinking is changing and we are fed up of playing peacemaker, policeman and diplomat to the madness of other Nigerians who cause trouble and run. You can tell from the comments that Yorubas are now understanding you cannot win being egalitarian and liberal in a nation of bigots and haters.
Far too loooong in coming. Thank The good Lord in heaven, Yorubas will eventually take a stand on something (be it good or bad) in this country. Am glad to be alive today, Nigerian transformation is at hand...

Supported,.... But also the federal government should support the Southern/middle belt Christian states to create their own version of Sharia law which is Cannon law with their own version of hisbah police like the 19 Northern states.

*Note* I think, "this test run out cry" by Muric is the very first phase of subtle manifestations of what "The Next Level" portends for Nigeria.

Any honest Economist will tell you, that the evolution of Nigeria on transforming herself into modern middle income society industrialized, with world class infrastructure, with steady supply of electricity, steady supply of water with underground network of sewage system through government policies are no more attainable under the present Nigerian system. To dig ourselves out of the extreme poverty capital of the world...say in the next 20 years, will require a GDP growth of 7%(double of the population growth of 3.2% over the same period), with a steady uptake of electricity supply from its 4000 mega Watts to about 180,000 mega Watts of power a population of that size required in order to attain that level. This is not the level, the Buhari second term coming is envisioning for this country,... I can assure you that 100%. I know because I have being researching on Nigeria/Africa/Global politics for the past 40 years (when China was still poor and not as developed). With the rise of China, the fourth industrial revolution, block chain technologies and the recent China/US trade wars/Brexit, Nigeria/Africa have lost the control to transform themselves there off under these new realities. So Africa is trying to create a counter geo-eco-political reality through the Continental Free trade Area (without Nigeria.... still waiting to join), while Nigeria counter reality could be found in Buhari's second term "Next level" ...pointer to a fascist economic control, Islamic state economy or combination of the above and socialism, and instruments or vehicles like fighting corruption through EFCC, Bokoharam new strategy of killing Nigerian soldiers, Nnamdi Kanu/ Isreali tango and Muric's re-echoing of a political/religious/economic calendar and etc are useful in ushering in this new Nigerian reality..... Stay Awake Nigerians, because things have fallen apart while you are still in deep sleep.

YORUBAS should be blame for all the wows of Nigeria, Africa and the entire black race, especially the senseless/ruthless killings in Nigeria because of their political calculations, strategies in supporting and abating those forces up North in other to benefit themselves politically/economically in their SW. Their numbers matter of course (in support of those evil)

Yorubas have lost their way. Their region by now could have be comparable to that of Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and etc, both in terms of per capital income and infrastructural developments(because they didn't experience any civil war/only seaport & international airport in their region)....but their fatal attachment to Igbo women's Virgina and the extent they will go to suppress Igbo men politically in cohort with the extremist jihadist in the North have invariably frozen Nigeria development and advancement. Let me see how are you going to climb out of that hole of the extreme poverty capital of the world.

Typical of Atiku zombies to run away from the issues surrounding how their failed party led us to a near abyss from their 16 years of lootocratic government.

Osinbajo and Buhari are a pair. The reason why you have a president and a vice and other functional agencies is so that business would continue irrespective of the absence of any of them.

You cannot keep pouring water into a leaking basket (economy) When will the basket ever fill up?

The wise thing to do is locate the leakages while pouring the water and start blocking them. After all its still the same water that reveals where the leakages are. WATER IN THIS CONTEST IS OUR FINANCES AS A NATION.

Buhari has largely blocked a lot of leakages while still keeping the shop open.

Obi was terribly wrong and off point which is a trademark of PDP when it comes to spinning truth and turning it on its head.

He claimed Buhari closed shop to chase after looters and that is totally a lie. If he did close shop then no ministry bringing revenue to the nation would be functional but we can see all of them more functional than ever with record breaking revenues coming from them.

Stop being a PDP liar and supporter of lie loaded propaganda and for once use that thing in that coconut on your neck
Typical Yoruba/APC logic. This is the the kind of reasoning that have brought Nigeria to her knees.

Obi is being a little bit diplomatic here. In reality, APC is entrenching corruption. Nigerian corruption is structural, foundational and therefore endemic. When you're focus on fighting corruption is political and selective/biased based on party affiliation, ethnicity, religion and regional, you are only entrenching the dysfunctional structure in which Nigerian corruption is rooted in. Don't blame PDP last administration because Nigerians elected APC precisely to correct the PDP anomalies, but they have failed abysmally.

Mysteryque:
President Muhammadu Buhari has, Friday, warned governors and other leaders in the country to brace up for tougher times ahead, especially as regards the economy and infrastructural development of the country, saying things will be harder than before.

President Buhari gave the statement in a message to the 36 state governors during a closed-door meeting with them in Abuja.

The president’s message was made known to newsmen by the Governors’ Forum, Gov. Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara shortly after the meeting.

According to the governor, president Buhari also told them that the country’s economy is in bad shape, challenging them to brace up on way forward to salvaging the dwindling economy.

According to him, “Mr President, as usual, responded by telling us that the economy is in a bad shape and we have to come together and think and rethink on way forward.

“So, Mr President talked to us in the manner that we have a task ahead of us. So, we should tighten our belts and see how we can put Nigerian economy in the right direction and how we can address the nation’s infrastructural decay.

“So, all of us as leaders, especially those that are coming to the National Assembly and those coming back as governors and the president who will be re-elected by God grace, we should not think that things are going to be easy.

“They are going to be harder than before, this was the message of Mr President.’’

On the meeting of the National Economic Council, the governor disclosed that the Council deliberated extensively on new ways state governments could generate additional revenues for speedy economic growth and development.

Stop deceiving yourself!! I tried to live in Lagos years back but the crazy and Hobbesian lifestyle was so bad that I had to sublet my self contained apartment at Palmgroove, close to Ikorodu road (I even got the person here on Nairaland after I advertised it back in 2013) and returned to Owerri. One of the best decisions I ever made!!
Now, stop getting it twisted, the only place of worth in the whole of SW is Lagos which happens to be a no man's land by virtue of being a federal capital territory just as Abuja is today. Industries are being built in Ogun state simply because of its proximity to the no man's land and if not for Lagos, Ogun state would have been as terrible as your other states that have remained archaic, rusty and backward.
Now if I can't stand Lagos, is it Oshogbo, Ogbomosho, Ibadan, Owo, Ijebu ode, Akure etc that I can live in??

Continue using Lagos (a former capital and no man's land) to hide your backwardness whereas many SE cities at least Owerri and Enugu can be comparable to Abuja in terms of livability.
For the fact that they (yorubas)are measuring whatever with Igbos after all the lost(by Igbos)during the civil war, all these decades and decades of Yoruba/hausa-fulani conspiracy to shot Igbos off on infrastructure (no seaport, international airports, good federal roads etc), only point that the Yorubas are stuck in time/space, validated by their own share ratio (of their population) in today's Nigeria, which is the extreme poverty capital of the world.

Yoruba/hausa-fulani bent on destroying or controlling the faith/destiny of Igbos under the disguised fake "one Nigeria" over time have brought Nigeria where she is today, and there's no escape because is self inflicted and most difficult to change, in other words, it's an entrapment. An escape from this entrapment is almost impossible. An indication that can point to that, is like going from 4 thousand mega Watts of electricity to a population of all most 200 hundred million people to a140 thousand mega Watts of electricity which that population size really required. Can it be possible?.

I love Buhari position. Instead of allowing the country to disintegrate (which really means, instead of allowing justice, equity and fairness to Igbos or let them go from the grips of Yorubas/hausa-fulani) all Nigerians get drown in the sea.

Rubbish, illiterates every where.

Let me ask you illiterates a couple of questions, and I will not answer those questions for you all.

1. Which one of these moves could have benefited the poverty stricken Nigerian voters?. The President refusal to sign the electoral act which could have caught down on rigging as witnessed in Osun and Ondo before calling for peace conference or the peace conference itself?.

2. Who do you blame for, presently the economic collapse we are witnessing?. Is it the PDP whom the APC are blaming or APC whom their very essence of forming a government in the first place is to clean the PDP mess?. Presently, on whose desk those the buck stops?. Please guys, do a little bit research on other world governments and find out which (government past/present) gets the blame in "the present".

He's worse than a prophet of doom. He's the Devils incarnate.
My brother, I really, really think your are Dead Wrong, and I will not hold it against you...... I have my reasons.

I am not an IPOB member, but Nnamdi Kanu's understanding of global geo-politics is light years ahead of you and others castigating him for this timely warning to Nigerians. Nigeria is doomed because, we do not have think tanks.orgs focusing on global geo-politics which affects Africa/Nigeria 100 percent, and mind you no African country sits in the security council (UN). Who would have thought that Nigerians (barely teenage Moslem girls) will be strapping bombs in their bodies...to commit sucide bombing. Nigerians are bereft of reasoning... and that's our doom.

Let me leave you with my own prediction of doom. Nigeria under any new government will witness the transformation of bokoharam into ISIS. They will deploy more sophisticated weapon systems with further reach into major cities of southern Nigeria. Under the pretence to fight them of, Nigeria and surrounding countries will witness increase militarization by foreign Powers whose ultimate agenda focuses on natural resources and competition with China in the African continent. Africa is becoming the center of economic gravity and the stakes are high.
