Muhammadson2020: Ehailing is a job with so many risk and uncertainties and disadvantages
It wastes your time
You make peanuts thinking you are making money. until when you have issues or repairs with car, you will understand
It exposes you to auto crash or accident @ any given time.
It's dulls and block your brain, you will never think of better ways to make huge money that will give you the life style you want. And this is why alot of drivers are stuck and trapped, they dare not quit cos they will go hungry
It's kill your self esteem, self worth and self confidence.
It exposes you to assault by law enforcement agencies, Riders, car owner partners, Tout, arm robbers etc
It damages and wreck your car before recouping the money you invested on it
It affects your health badly, you could develop diabetes, hypertension, poor circulation of blood, nerve damage, scatia, eye defects, Neuropathy, chronic back pain and so many illness associated with stress and prolong driving and sitting in one position for a long period of time. All these don't usually show on time until when you start ageing on the business.
Exploitation from App coy. They take 30% of your money. You are left with little after other expenses
You are target to car snatchers if you drive Coro
Road safety, police, Lastma, VIO, Local government boys, Airport official, Task force are waiting to Collect your hard earned money. Cos you will break law on duty, it's unavoidable.
There is no bright future with Ehailing, if you stay longer on it. It will kill your destiny. Except it is your destiny to move Lagos.
You will receive all manner of insults you have never received |

sweetguy10: Those agbero task force guys just arrested me at Ikotun immediately after governor’s road junction because I parked to buy soft drink and gala just opposite where I parked. They wrote a ticket of 25k and after much begging and intercession by the person I wanted to pick , they collected 7K - my hard earned money since 9AM and I had to pay to gauge my tires because they deflated the two front tires and that’s after the rider canceled because he had to “go somewhere urgently “. They moved me into their office and you need to see the shady deals et al being perpetrated there that’s while they all reek of cigarette and weed plus beer . The government that empowered these miscreants are still the one shouting that we leave crime and do a legal hustle , I’m frustrated , angry , sad and hopeless in this damned country... everything is a scam eventually . I’ve been on the road since 9AM only for some weed smoking , beer drinking , no lifers to take all my earnings because I parked to fill my farmished self on the same place where vanagons are parked . To hell with whatever ..... Bleep !!!!!! It’s been said here times without number, local government do not have the right to arrest any vehicle for traffic offense, it’s a bye law already passed by house of assembly, during the past government, but Incase of next time reachout to me,I go collect 5k...... do not let them capitalize on your ignorance |

donfortune48: Greetings comrades.
I've been following this thread since February, and I just decided lately to try this business since I've not been able to get a job after service.
Luckily for me, my bro just bought a new car for the wife, and then said I can use the old one for the business if I like (03 matrix).
I've uploaded all documents, done inspection and training yesterday. My account just got activated early this morning, meaning that I'm set to hit the road.
Please I need advice from the gurus on this thread. Both those on the fence (gazuz), those on the road (jentlelife, Jesus & Muhammad son, eherbal, FUTOdiamondbank, izuo...) those in (yanki, Japan & Ghana (uncle dru23)). The auto mechs (the Mrs with YAN currency).
I'm planning to enter streets by 2pm to test run my ability.
My major fear is how to commute around, as I'm not conversant with the roads. And the importance of the 5star stuff they hit me with yesterday during straining.
As for Google Map? I'm a top-rated LOCAL GUIDE.
Thanks comrades. With Sanwo eko hope you have kept lastma and vio money too |

MoonlightDrive: This is the kind of statement that puts investors or would be partners on alert, on average corporate drivers are not able to save enough to buy a tokunbo car within 3 years, yet in less than 3 years uber drivers are able to achieve this feat... #partnersonalert Bro partners na partners sabi, na me know wetin my eyes see, would take only Wednesday off, sometimes will drive and close early, from Thursday to Sunday I no dey see my bed until Sunday night, I be like broom, was looking old, I no fit even try am again now, shebi that one na if the request they even flow like that. |

Before am being torn to pieces, am not dru’s attorney or defender, but I think their is a big misinterpretation to dru’s personality, and I can say to you he comes here to Type for fun and laugh at your reaction, he is such a easy going, friendly, and nice personality away from the keyboard, I can say to a large extent do not be surprised that with all the gra gra here some of his drivers might be owing him, he is not even in the country to chase you, you upandan, he just appreciate honesty and speaks reality some of which he knows can be impossible, for those attacking him take it easy and next time read his post just for the laughs. As for son of Jesus no insults intended, but understanding that the only marketable skill that you have is driving that’s even if it’s considered a skill not to talk of marketing it, I see why the earnings are a big deal for you, but Some of us it ain’t, knowing that they were days when a trip from Kusenla Road to airport was approximately 10k on a sure early morning surge, days were there would be surge every morning from chevron to lekki from 7 to at about 10am every morning or days were there would be a sure Uber boost of 2.0 on Monday mornings and 1.8 for the rest of the week both morning and evenings on the island, or days where driving on the weekend alone settles all bills and partners rental, so bro take it easy your Bentley and na another man taxi, but again what do I know. |
