Katsumoto: Lagos-Cotonou-Lome-Aflao-Accra-Abidjan = Almost 2 days with stops at Accra and Lome and 2 hours at Aflao because my companions had Naija passports.

New York-NJ-Delaware-Maryland-Virginia-North Carolina-Atlanta = 11 Hours doing 85-95 MPH and ticket from a Maryland State Trooper.

But the longest as got to be
Madrid-Burgos-San Sebastien-Bordeaux-Paris-Leige-Cologne-Berlin = 36 hours with a stop in Paris

...Well I've done Ibadan to Oyo; Ibadan to Ilorin (via Iwo - Ife_Odan) and back in each case...my sweetest ride ever is Ogbomoso-Ilorin section of the expressway traffic there is quite light but wary of some dents.

deeptesting: I still repeat the fact that 3 billion Naira cannot be spent to build a bridge that trucks cannot safely climb and heavy duty trucks cannot ply....Now using the life span to justify the ban of trucks on the bridge is just ridiculous when you and I know that it is the continuous maintenance of the bridge that will prolong its life span and not the plying of the trucks on it, if at all 3 billion was spent on it..

In short bros. I'm a Civil Engineer, and I dare say that Mokola Flyover is of Quality Standard (see my post above), based on the simple reason that it achieves it's aims and objective - Provide a fast through from Mokola to Adamasingba. That aspect of cost, I wish the working drawings and other blueprints were public documents and would gladly work to estimate the cost. Else I can't provide a judgement on contract sum.
By the way...one question for you. How much does a car cost?
Ans.: A 100,000 Naira? A Million bucks? or A hundred million bucks maybe?

...And trucks SHOULD never ascend it (NOT because its load factor is overbearing...NO) Trucks CAN NOT negotiate a fast-through on such inclination and descent (danger!).
And NO...There is no room for pedestrians on such bridge...ELSE such individual is sorrily re.tarded (mean you would climb that steep ascent? For Cardio?) When you would safely and more easily move on ped. way on the ground, even use the round about as a traffic island.
....Now that's how fast-through flyovers are designed on highways, everywhere!
That bridge will support truck loads, they will only slow down traffic movement with their grinding acceleration and so they can (SHOULD) move on service lane ON THE GROUND.
Any car can as well move on the ground if they dread heights...
