You simply took it out of context. The woman persisted to which Jesus replied and said Healing is the children's bread and He can't give that to the dogs.
The woman's response to this statement was that the dogs do eat from the crumbs that fall from the master's table. That response got to Jesus for He ended up healing the woman's child.

Think about it.
