chinchum: ➜The reality is that it is almost impossible in Nigeria for many to have 1.6 million naira. However, most government hospitals with a budget of 300,000 will cater for most emergencies including operation. Your benchmark will exclude 95% of Nigerian couples from giving birth. ➜The worst carelessness is the one done where a couple with about 8 months of time to plan fail to save or borrow for emergency that child birth complications can bring. Saving 40k every month for 8 months, means they have 300k at birth period. That budget in most government hospital is a safe zone, some wont even spend up to 100k. Registering for antenatal and going regularly also reduces risk of childbirth complications. These painful story does not suggest there was any antenatal done. 1. Nigeria will continue to go on if that 95% would prioritize saving up that amount over the next 10 years over having children that will end up a burden and a problem to the system. With a population reaching about 230 million and over 170 million of them living in poverty— over 24 million Nigerians are homeless with over 10 million orphaned and with no where to go —, they do not do anyone any good having kids, not even the kids benefit from being born since there is nothing for them as yet, where Nigeria is today. 2. It is quite disturbing the behavior of people who are thought to be developed enough to be contributing citizens in any country. |

Patients will arrive at the emergency and their families will wail, beg, plead that the patient should be admitted and treated while they run round to raise the deposit. Immediately the patient gets well u no go see im family members again. Before u know am patient don abscond from ward. I have seen so many videos of hospitals lamentiing this over the years. |

Sex is good, but don't bring too many kids than necessary in to poverty. 1 or 2 kids should be okay till things improve. Ante natal was expensive? After birth, the two babies were rushed to another hospital for what purpose? Why couldn't the first hospital handle the emergency if money were not the problem? autoez: ✓ That’s not realistic. Can you really say that to a woman?
✓ It might seem okay to tell a man not to have children, but who will fulfill the strong desire many women have to become mothers? Men, of course. And let’s be honest, men are naturally drawn to women, with a strong libido and deep desire. So how can reproduction not happen? Especially when women are aware that their biological clock is ticking. Bros, remember God said, “Be fruitful and multiply.” That wasn’t just a command, it was a divine statement of purpose. If you stand in the way of that, you're working against God's plan. Have a good night rest. This message is for both women and for men as well. Again, why should a woman not know to use protection until she has fully resolved the issue of poverty that will keep her from adequately raising her kids when she finally has them? You religious people are some of the most wicked arseholes on the planet. I tell ya. So because of that passage, you take it to mean it is OK to have kids when you absolutely don't have anything that rais them with? 😩😩😩😩 |

I wonder why the hospital should be blamed. The fact the hospital referred them to another hospital shows that the hospital staff care (imagine what would have happened if they had kept the woman and she eventually dies in their hospital. This man would have called them out, and may also not pay the requested 500k deposit, which he claimed he could have raised). Even the man admitted that perhaps the hospital doesn't have the facilities to treat his pregnant wife, which is possibly the reason they demanded that amount to deterr him and for then to accept the referral to a government hospital which will be cheaper and have more professionals Imagine driving to a Convalescent Center for Emergency care after a whole 9 months or pregnancy? Who does that without first ensuring the clinic is equipped to handle emergencies? |

Don't be surprised that the same man is part of those who supports evil such as bigotry in Nigeria. He practically killed his wife. He had nine months to prepare for the worst but he had none and not even friends to help out,no family members to help. Shameless man for that matter. ➜Just wasted someone's daughter. Women who choose this kind of man are not victims. She is culpable, as her death is also due to negligence on her part. She already had two kids, she was aware they were not being raised well, yet she proceeded to have another kid on top of that. In addition, she made no plans to ensure that she would be taken care of in the case of an emergency. How can she trust it all in the hands of the same man who has not been able to properly feed her and her two children? 2. She wasted her own life and self—provided the man did not intend to kill her. People should begin raising daughters with higher intelligence and standards. Why should any woman submit her eggs to such men? Why? A woman ought to hold out for as long as is necessary to ensure any kid they have has a worthy father— it is better to have any kids at all than to help a deadbeat proliferate; she submitted her life and self to an entitled entity, and look at the result. |
