I wont be surprised if it is a teaching hospital, these days all they do is breed killer doctors and nurses. The one in my state is a perfect example, with the price of kidneys going in millions they won't hesitate to end you if they have the opportunity.

➜It is a sad story. But like you wrote, there is a 9-month period to prepare. The man should take some blames, and not the hospital, especially for this reason. Who knows if the hospital do have maternity services? If he had deposited, say 10% of the requested deposit, who knows the hospital might have commenced treatment. The situation he narrated shows the hospital referred them to a government hospital, where they might get better treatment and a cheaper or even free rate. That wasn't bad from this private hospital. Moreover, if he didn't have enough money for deposit, he should have gone to a government hospital first. I think private hospitals can be expensive because of the bills and salaries they need to pay.
Sad situation, but hope Nigerians would learn.
