I lost tree sisters to sickle cell and one died because of negligence and asking family members to be doing the work the clinics should be doing even when you have money to pay. The system needs reform. I even support banning for profit primary healthcare facilities. That way the heartless and greedy ones will leave the professional. Medicines is a noble profession, not for rif rafs and chalatans. If the clinic had treated her and did a go fund me, they will recoup 100X what she owned.
